The room was pretty decent for being in the city. We booked the half-board option, choosing breakfast and dinner. However, there was a discrepancy regarding dinner; the front desk and the restaurant staff told us different things. We were initially told both the second and third-floor restaurants were options. When we went to the second floor, they said no, and it took some back-and-forth communication to resolve it. Then, at the third-floor restaurant, they also said no, despite the front desk confirming it was fine. We went back to the third-floor restaurant, and again, they refused. Isn't this something that should be synchronized internally within the hotel?

A great hotel with great amenities. Friendly and helpful staff.
Conveniently connected to the wafi mall and only a 5 minute walk to the metro making it ideal for getting around Dubai.
Nice pool with a bar if you want a drink, a relaxing place with a good choice of sun loungers and cabana

Great hotel, very near the beach. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Will definitely recommend this hotel to travellers coming to Dubai. I will definitely come back one day.

During my two-day stay, the master bedroom's bathtub and shower were unusable. The water temperature was too low, reaching a maximum of 39 degrees Celsius even when turned up all the way, and it wouldn't maintain that temperature. Hotel staff came to check and discuss three times, each time claiming the equipment was working fine and advising that the bathtub shouldn't be filled more than halfway with hot water. However, in reality, the hot water in the tub only lasted for 2-3 minutes before turning lukewarm. The entire bathing experience cooled down within 5 minutes, leaving not even enough lukewarm water for a shower. The second bedroom had the same issue; after the first person used it, even waiting over half an hour wasn't enough for the next person to have a complete hot shower. This is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel and doesn't meet its service standards. The entire communication process severely disrupted our travel plans. Furthermore, from the night of check-in until the next morning, all four phones in our suite were unable to connect to the front desk for assistance. Eventually, we had to rely on Trip.com to contact staff to come to our standalone building for repairs.

On the positive side, the suite had good views. At the breakfast buffet, when we asked if they had Spanish coffee, they initially said no, but then directly brought us a prepared cup, which was a nice touch and made us feel a bit touched.

I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel.
There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩
But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with.

They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like.
Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway.
The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant.
For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly.
It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead.
The staff here are very kind, but apart from that, I have to be honest about what really matters to me.

I do appreciate the room upgrade, 
but truely the hotel facilities are disappointing.

The room was quite spacious. We stayed for several days, and because we arrived at the hotel early on an early flight, the staff confirmed room availability and let us check in early – very thoughtful!

They greeted us warmly every time we came in and out.

The room provided two bottles of water, coffee, tea bags, and toiletries daily; the quality was good, and the bedding was also good, ensuring a comfortable sleep.

The breakfast was excellent; the selection wasn't extensive, but the food was quite delicious. The only downside was that all the dishes were the same for all five nights – no variety.

The location is also quite convenient; both the subway and Champs-Élysées are within walking distance, making it a fantastic choice.

The hotel has a very convenient location, close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, as well as a subway station. It's ideal for tourists. There are many good restaurants around the hotel, and supermarkets are also nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive.

What is the experience of a five-star hotel without heating on a day of 10 degrees to 8 degrees? It really happened to me, and it was a Sofitel. Anyway, I caught a cold directly on the second day after staying, and the windows were closed tightly. The equipment Everything else is nonsense. I complained to the front desk the next day. Anyway, the attitude was very sincere, but the problem had occurred and the facilities were very backward. The front desk service was very enthusiastic and communicated with me from the perspective of the guest. Anyway, it is a five-star hotel in Paris. It's really hard to describe

Came with my child for a university event. It's super convenient to take a taxi to Wujiaochang. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and helped me print documents for several days in a row. The transportation nearby is excellent; you can easily take a taxi or the subway, and it's not far to walk to North Bund either! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

The hotel's French 'light luxury' design is absolutely stunning. The lobby is spacious and elegant, with the interplay of light and soft furnishings creating a wonderful French ambiance. The guest rooms feature sophisticated color schemes and a well-thought-out layout, making the entire property very aesthetically pleasing and great for photos. The room attendants were very polite and helpful during service, and room service for deliveries was incredibly prompt and efficient. What's more, unlike other hotels I've stayed at during the summer holidays, there was no annoying pressure to check out starting from noon or 1 pm (even though Trip.com had granted me a late checkout). This allowed me to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Upon checkout, I was also proactively asked about my stay. Overall, the experience perfectly matched the standard expected for a hotel of this caliber, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Shanghai. 

However, I must mention that the check-in experience was less than ideal. When I handed over my ID to check in, the front desk staff member actually looked confused, which I found quite puzzling. Furthermore, after completing the check-in, there was no information provided about the hotel's amenities, and the elevator directions were very vague. Since I had just gotten off a flight, I didn't want to delve too deep into it. It seemed like a trainer was onboarding a new employee. I hope they can provide the newcomers with better service techniques, at least so it doesn't negatively impact guests' first impressions.
