I've stayed at the Sheraton Binjiang Hotel multiple times.

**Pros:** The most significant advantage is that it offers the best value for money among five-star hotels. Plus, it's right next to Line 14, within walking distance. The service is incredibly warm and friendly. I've stayed many times, and the service quality has always been consistently excellent; it's never varied. I'm always satisfied with my stay. Sometimes, after a tiring journey, people can be irritable when speaking, but the hotel staff always manage to de-escalate the situation. Their communication skills are truly smart! They make you feel comfortable.

Furthermore, having experienced numerous five-star hotel pools across many cities, I can say that the Sheraton's pool water temperature is the most comfortable. I'm on the leaner side and tend to feel cold easily, so the Sheraton's pool temperature is very friendly for women and children alike. The indoor pool temperature is also excellent! You don't feel cold when you get out.

That's why I highly recommend the Sheraton. When the hotel isn't fully booked, they often proactively upgrade guests, which is a really thoughtful gesture that truly wins you over!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An experience that exceeded my expectations!

Location and Transportation
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station/commercial area, making it easy to get around and shop.

Room Facilities
The room was clean and tidy, with a well-designed layout. The bedding was comfortable and soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were of good quality. The air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and other facilities worked perfectly, and the hot water was quick and consistent.

Service Quality
The front desk staff were enthusiastic and professional, making check-in efficient and quick. Housekeeping responded promptly, and the cleaning staff were meticulous. Whenever an issue arose, the staff patiently resolved it, making guests feel well taken care of.

Dining Experience
The breakfast offered a rich variety, combining both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was delicious. The restaurant environment was bright and comfortable, and the servers were proactive and attentive.

Value for Money
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit this city and will recommend it to my friends!

The overall experience staying at Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel was acceptable. 

Their room service is available 24 hours, and you can order food by calling their hotline anytime. However, please note that the menu prices are on the higher side. One simple main course can cost almost twice as much as ordering through ******* food delivery.
There are also 2–3 restaurants within the building itself if you do not mind the pricing. The hotel surroundings are mainly office buildings, so there are no nearby restaurants or shops within walking distance. However, the 基隆路 metro station is easily accessible with an 8–10 minute walk. For ******* food deliveries, all orders must be sent to the locker located outside the hotel lobby near the drop-off area. The hotel management does not allow food deliveries to be sent directly to the rooms, and they do not provide robots for delivery either, which means guests need to personally come down to collect their food. The same applies to parcels. Although the hotel has a counter to receive parcels (refer to picture 2) and store them temporarily, guests still need to collect them personally from the counter.

For a high-end hotel, this level of service was not what I expected.

The hotel also provides laundry services for an additional fee, charged per piece. Their laundry service team was efficient — they collected the clothes directly from the room and returned them in good condition, neatly hung in the wardrobe.

Room cleaning was done daily. I stayed for 4 nights, and they provided complimentary bottled water every day (around 4–6 bottles daily). This could give an extra point even though most of the hotel in China have the same standard. 

The hotel breakfast was average. Although there were many choices available, the taste could definitely be improved. I took some buns from the steaming area, but they were still cold and hard. The staff were standing nearby, but they did not provide any proactive service or assistance. 

Quite disappointed overall for a five-star hotel brand, and I hope the management team will take action to improve the issues mentioned above.

The environment and service are great, and they're generally very responsive to requests. However, the lack of infrastructure is quite noticeable. We booked a family room, but there were no small step stools for toddlers, no toilet seat for kids, and no bed rail. It was quite inconvenient. If you're offering family suites, these items really should be provided, especially for a five-star hotel. It's not like these are expensive things, and the age of this Sheraton shouldn't be an excuse.  Among the three meals, breakfast was the most satisfactory and met expectations. The other two meals (afternoon tea and dinner) were complimentary simple meals – better than nothing, I suppose. The swimming pool was nice; it wasn't crowded, so we had a great swim.

Chongming Island has a great environment!

I checked into the Sheraton around 8 PM and was upgraded to a suite. My son absolutely loved it! The living room was spacious enough for him to run around. The bedroom and bathroom were also very large. What impressed me was that every table corner in the suite had protective anti-collision strips, which is a huge plus for families traveling with kids.

Fittings and furniture in the suite were in excellent condition with minimal wear and tear. The air conditioning, furniture, and everything else were well-maintained. All the lights were working perfectly. I remember two years ago, the maintenance wasn't quite as good, but this time it was superb. The suite offered a lovely view of a river through its large floor-to-ceiling windows.

The service was also very responsive to our requests. Room service was convenient and offered good value for money.

I also tried the hotel's bicycles, but at 150 yuan, they were a bit pricey, and the bikes themselves weren't great to ride, with somewhat crooked seats.

The hotel was quite good! They upgraded us to an executive room, which my child found very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent. After eating, my child played at the hotel for a long time. We also got a late check-out. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This hotel desperately needs a renovation of its facilities.

First, we had originally booked an apartment-style room, but due to their major renovations, they upgraded us to two rooms free of charge (which was a plus).
- The breakfast was good.

Minus points:
- There was an issue with the booking system – my son's room was double-booked with another new guest within an hour. Luckily, that guest also realized something was wrong because my son's backpack was still in the room. I had to go down to the front desk to get the key card reissued, and the other guest moved to a different room. My wife said it was fortunate my son wasn't showering at the time and that the new guest was male, otherwise it would have been very awkward.
- Upon check-in, the front desk also offered us free breakfast, but the next day we found it wasn't registered in the system.
- The concierge service was inadequate. During both check-in and check-out, no one approached us to ask if we needed help with our luggage (we had 7 items for 3 people). This is unlike the service at other Marriott hotels.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The location was perfect with a subway station right outside our hotel.

The breakfast was great every morning and the spa area really helped us have a relaxing stay

Overall, the hygiene is decent. The location is a bit out of the way, making it inconvenient to walk to the lively areas, but there's a shuttle bus that goes to the plaza. The service staff are friendly, and the front desk is welcoming. The room is a bit small, and the cleaning details are just average, but the bed is comfortable and ensures a good night's sleep. The soundproofing in the hallway is a bit poor. Breakfast isn't lavish but healthy, with the croissants being a highlight. The view is unremarkable, and both the executive lounge and coffee machine perform adequately. Overall, it offers good value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The amenities were good, and everything we needed was available.

I've stayed at this hotel three times already and will continue to do so (whenever I have a layover and need to spend the night in Istanbul between flights). The hotel is quite far from the main attractions (city center), but the metro line is convenient (direct to Taksim, and you can also get to the area near the Grand Bazaar, from where a tram will take you right into the heart of everything). The metro entrance is right nearby, less than a minute's walk. The bed is comfortable, all necessary amenities are available, and the breakfasts are plentiful with something for everyone. In September '25, guests were offered loofahs and toothbrushes, but these were no longer available in February '26. It's a shame, the loofahs were excellent. Upon check-in, they ask for a deposit: either a €100 hold on your card or cash. If you pay the deposit in euros or dollars in cash, they will return it upon check-out, but only in Turkish Lira.

Love Atasehir area. Nice, clean, organized and safe. 
The grand Sheraton staff are friendly, warm and helpful. The house keepers are extremely helpful for keeping the rooms clean and comfortable.

Jason at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! He upgraded our room to one with views of the river, Burj Khalifa, and the Gold Souk. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only downside was the pillows – they weren't soft or supportive at all, even less comfortable than the ones at Home Inn in China. Breakfast was quite simple; we stayed for 6 days, and aside from a slight change in the yogurt, it was pretty much the same every day. The waitstaff were very enthusiastic and attentive, but perhaps because there were so many guests, coffee and teacups were often unavailable. They offer complimentary valet parking, which is very convenient. Overall, we were very satisfied. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing weeks stay at Sheraton, the staff are exceptionally and a real credit to them. The house keeping was spot on. We only had breakfast here the once, it was ok. Pool are lovely but the toilets need air fresheners as theres always an unpleasant smell in there. To conclude…highly recommend.

The room was pretty good, and the bed was quite large, making it very family-friendly. It's located right inside the Mall of the Emirates, so dining and shopping were super convenient. It's also not far from the metro station, though you have to walk through the mall to get to it, which is a bit of a roundabout way. Check-in is on the G floor, and to get to your room, you need to take an elevator to the 5th floor and then transfer to another elevator. After check-out, you can store your luggage, and taking the metro to the airport is direct without any transfers, which was really handy.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, making my stay truly enjoyable. From the reception team to those assisting with the elevators, everyone was incredibly helpful. I also had a delightful conversation with the Filipino staff, which added a personal touch to my visit. The breakfast offered was not as extensive as anticipated, but it was still enjoyable and of good quality! And the handcrafted coffee, it was a real treat compared to the usual machine-dispensed options—100/10! While it took a little time for the water to warm up in the bathrooms, the room itself was fantastic—definitely a 10/10. Balconies are locked by default for safety, but you can ask the hotel to make it available for you. Only 4-5 mins walk from Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 tram station. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

You will not be disappointed staying in the Sheraton Grand. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay from the moment I arrived to my departure. The hotel is conveniently located a 15 minutes drive from the airport, and a 5-10 minute walk to the metro which is linked to downtown Dubai, approximately taking 20-30 minutes in total to reach the Burj Khalifa. Breakfast was exceptional, with a very extensive selection, and excellent customer service throughout. All the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. Beautiful rooftop pool and great gym. I would definitely stay here again.
