The hotel is conveniently located between Shimbashi and Ginza, just a 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station, making dining and transportation very accessible. The breakfast buffet on the first floor isn't extravagant but offers a good variety, just enough to start the day. The room was clean and tidy.

The bathroom was spacious, but the room itself was a bit small. Luckily, there was space under the bed for luggage. The price was reasonable. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the subway, but be aware there's a steep hill. There's a convenience store nearby. The area is packed with great restaurants, mostly on the upscale side, so reservations are probably a good idea.

The facilities are a bit old, but it's not a major issue. The cleanliness and attention to detail are commendable, and the service attitude is also very good. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. There's a coffee machine and a waffle maker in the lobby on the first floor.

The hotel is pretty good and the location is excellent, very convenient for getting to Asakusa. The TX line is right downstairs, and it only takes a few minutes to reach Akihabara. The free coffee and evening snacks in the lobby are a big plus. However, I hope the room cleanliness can be improved. On the day I checked in, I found leftover food (expired rice balls) in the fridge from a previous guest. I reported this to the front desk, and they said they would conduct a deep clean of the room, but I thought I might receive some compensation, which didn't happen. I hope they can improve on this in the future. Overall, I have a good impression of the hotel.

The room, though small, was well-designed, clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. On the first floor, there's a coffee machine, water dispenser, and a laundry room. Toiletries and skincare products were also available for guests to freely take from a display in front of the elevator.

For breakfast, you get two freshly baked pieces of bread and a small bowl of soup. While simple, at just 500 yen, I personally found it to be excellent value for money, and the freshly baked bread was delicious.

The hotel is just a ten-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of restaurants, big and small. Ginza is also less than a 30-minute walk away. The transportation is very convenient.

The location is fantastic, only a five to six-minute walk from the subway station, and it's on a major line. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel service was also excellent, and I had a wonderful stay for the past few days.

The hotel location was excellent, central and only a 3 minutes walk to the subway. The cleanliness of the hotel was very high with fresh towels provided every day. The room was well equipped with a kettle and a small fridge. There was no wardrobe, just 4 hangers to hang clothes on a hook. There was no storage.
I booked a 20m twin room with large single beds. However, the room was 13m at the most. I asked the receptionist about this but all the twin rooms were the same size.
The staff were always very polite and helpful. The receptionist advised me where to go to buy a SIM card which was a great help.
There was a washing machine available for the low price of 300 yen which was very useful.
I also paid for the breakfast which I cannot recommend. It was tasty but very limited with no variety. There were only about 5 cooked dishes which were the same every day - scrambled eggs, chicken in a tomato sauce, sausage or bacon, boiled vegetables and potato salad.
I would recommend the hotel.

Throughout this hotel stay, the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel room itself is extremely small. The door actually hits the bed and doesn’t fully open. Furthermor, the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. For most the nights of our stay, I had to sleep on a pillow to make it more cushioned. If I didn’t, my back would hurt waking up. On a positive note, the air conditioner and hairdryer worked extremely well, maybe even a bit too well! That A/C was extremely cold and almost put us in a cryo freeze! We had to rotate shutting it off. For the hairdryer, it was extremely hot so make sure you hold it away from your head. Otherwise, the hotel was close to a subway station which was good.

Just a few minutes' walk from Ikebukuro JR Station, with plenty of food, drink, and shopping options nearby. The front desk girl's English was excellent, making communication smooth. Check-in and check-out were quick. The lobby offers free coffee and a few small snacks daily, which was a thoughtful touch for when we returned hungry in the afternoon. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was satisfying and comfortable, with a good variety of meats for a balanced meal.

The hotel offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms. If you don't have a strong preference, you might want to check availability for both. My friends and I had a bit of a mix-up with our dates this time, and we unexpectedly found a smoking room available for one night. We were originally planning to book a non-smoking room for six days, but because of this, we ended up splitting our booking. It turned out to be much cheaper than booking the full six days straight, as there was no non-smoking room available for one of the days, but no smoking room for the others. Plus, the hotel staff kindly arranged for us to stay in the same room for all six days without having to switch! 🥰🥰🥰 So grateful!

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel WBF Grande Hakata. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The rooms were well-maintained, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was available. The public facilities were also clean and convenient.

The location is good—it’s about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, making it easy to get around, though it may feel a bit far if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Fukuoka. It offers great value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again.

The B Hakata is very convenient it just 5mins walk from HAKATA station, nearby Family Mart and Lawson and many eateries shop around. Room is a bit bigger than other chain hotel but still manageable for 2 big luggage. Free coffee provided at lobby 24hours, you could grab one before heading out, nearby Yobayashi mall 4th floor supermarket selling nice food.

This hotel is a top choice for those who prioritize location and value for money!

The location is superb. Traveling with seniors, we could reach Tanukikoji, Moyuk, Daiso, the Pole Town underground shopping street, and Don Quijote within 5 minutes. Parco and Mitsukoshi were within 10 minutes. There are countless restaurants and drugstores nearby. Right across from the hotel is a chain tonkatsu restaurant, packed with locals. There's a slight wait during peak hours, but it offers great value, and on weekdays, they even have special lunch sets. Pork lovers should definitely try their most expensive set (though portions are huge, and everyone has to order one – consider ordering the cheapest one to round out the number of orders if you're not that hungry).

Regarding the rooms, we adjusted to a cheaper, randomly assigned room before arrival, requesting adjacent rooms on a high floor and quiet, and all our requests were met. We ended up with three twin rooms on the highest floor. The beds weren't small, and the room size was definitely enough for one person. I had a 28-inch and a 24-inch suitcase plus a duffel bag, and I could open everything. For two people with a lot of luggage, it might be a bit tight.

Overall, the hotel facilities are relatively new, small but have everything you need.

Breakfast, if included, is very basic. For three days, aside from one type of bread (croissant and whole wheat toast rotated), everything else was the same. The taste was decent, but the selection was very limited. We mostly just had a quick bite before heading out each day. I'd recommend skipping breakfast unless you have seniors or children who absolutely need to eat right after waking up. The picture shows all the available options. There's also what they call 'free light meals' from 3 PM to 10 PM. The pictures made it look abundant, but we didn't see any desserts for three days, only ice cream. Coffee and hot tea are available all day. There's an ice machine on the first floor. I basically used it to sit down and rest while waiting for the seniors to finish their meal after my morning stroll. The fruit tea is delicious. Rooms don't provide water, so you'd often see people refilling their bottles here, which is fine.

Service-wise, it varied:

The long-haired female staff member at check-in was rather cold and had mediocre English skills. The group before us was Korean guests, and she treated both groups with a flat, expressionless demeanor. However, she processed everything quite quickly. There was also a Japanese middle-aged man with a protruding belly. Initially, he stood behind the two front desk staff, watching them work. I thought he was a manager overseeing operations, but his attitude was also very impatient. When I tried to pay the accommodation tax, I wanted to swipe my card. The machine and the female staff member weren't familiar with it, and it didn't work at first (it turned out the magnetic strip was inserted the wrong way). He kept saying ”no no no,” snatched my card, and tried to insert it. But my card didn't have a chip, so inserting it wouldn't work, which I had explained beforehand. In the end, it still had to be swiped. I've never encountered such rude front desk staff. The female staff next to him also looked a bit startled.

However, several subsequent staff members, both male and female, regardless of their English proficiency, had very good attitudes. Especially one young man – we were waiting to use the laundry, and one machine finished but the clothes hadn't been picked up. I went to the front desk to explain, and the young man immediately responded with a smile. A tip for everyone: if you're like us and want to wash all your accumulated outerwear at the end of your stay, try to avoid peak hours after dinner. There are only two washing machines and two dryers, and when it gets crowded, some people don't come to pick up their clothes on time, which can be frustrating.

There's also an airport limousine bus stop nearby (we didn't use it but saw it, not far away). This chain hotel is ubiquitous, and its locations are generally good. Overall, it offers good value for money!👍

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, I honestly can't find any faults with it, apart from the price. As soon as you walk into the lobby, there's a lovely fragrance, which I really enjoyed. The lobby also has a bar where you can get free drinks, perfect for a girls' night out! Plus, there's a huge mirror, which is ideal for getting ready with your friends! (My only minor complaint is that housekeeping didn't come every day.)
