The rooms were clean and tidy, and the lobby staff were warm and professional. They offered free coffee and hot water in the lobby, and upon check-in, each person received a complimentary beer or other beverage of their choice. Breakfast was incredibly rich, especially with a wide variety of fruits. Plus, before 9 AM, they even offered free muffins in the lobby! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the heart of Ginza and very close to the subway station. It offers incredible value for money!

Exceptional stay. Location is superb, within a walking distance from Ueno park and its museums, very near Koishikawa Korakuen garden, Tokyo University, Tokyo Dome and metro stations. The rooms are well-equipped and very neat, with humidiefier/air cleaner and daily room service bringing fresh towels and bath robes. Super nice public bath area. Breakfast is plain okay, but the ice cream in the evening is just gorgeous. The staff is super amicable and nice. 

The location is great, not too far from the metro station.
There are convenience stores and many restaurants nearby.

I love the refine shower head, the water is so soft.

The staff is very nice.

There is free croissants for all the guest, which is pretty delicious. 

I do not like that I cannot turn on the air conditioning as it’s winter. I can only turn on the heating. I open the windows and it’s loud outside at night. The room has poor sound insulation.

It was 4 AM in January. Lying on the bed, I cried. This must be how the polar bears feel when the Arctic ice melts into nothingness, I thought to myself. The AC is set to lava-hot high heating, and there’s nothing you can do about it, just like Mother Nature, powerless to human CO2 emission. If your friends don’t believe in global warming, they will after spending a night at the B Ikebukuro in winter. The room size is a metaphor to how little time we have left before human actions cause irreversible change. The B Ikebukuro doesn’t just provide you a place to sleep, it makes you think about the consequences of every decision you made. By the next morning, you will unlock your potential, just like Gojo Satoru. The B Ikebukuro is Fushigoro Toji.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering convenient transportation right in the heart of Asakusa. It's very close to the subway entrance for Senso-ji Temple. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room was also spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely book this hotel again next time.

We had a truly wonderful stay and were so pleased with the accommodations. The service provided by the staff was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations, from the comfortable rooms to the convenient location. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience. The hotel is located up a slope right behind the TBS building, which can be a bit of a trek with luggage. Huge thanks to the fellow reviewers who shared the easier route – it was really easy to find! It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, probably about 10-15 minutes on foot.

I got a random room on the 3rd floor, facing the residential area, but you can actually see a cemetery from there... If that bothers you, you might want to talk to the hotel. The room itself is typical Tokyo style – quite small. The shower is a wet/dry separation. You can open a 24-inch suitcase next to the bed, but two suitcases would probably be a tight squeeze. I really liked that they offer local snacks in the evening, and there's complimentary tea and coffee downstairs, plus self-serve toiletries.

Excellent Stay with the Sweetest Staff
From the moment we arrived, the check-in was swift and welcoming—truly one of the friendliest hotel teams we’ve met. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side—but that’s to be expected in Japan. The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety, with options that cater to both local and Western tastes. All in all, a great experience and we’d happily stay again.

Cleanliness: Good. Towels and disposable amenities are refreshed daily, and bed linen is changed every three days.

Location: It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Akihabara, and just a few minutes from other subway stations!

Service: Absolutely excellent. Don't worry if you don't speak Japanese; they can also assist with mailing and luggage storage.

Amenities: There's a bathtub!! After a long day of exploring, a hot bath is incredibly relaxing. The only minor drawback is the hairdryer isn't very powerful, but it's manageable.

This is my second time to stay this hotel. Although the room is small but this is just nice for a couple. I am really love this hotel location as it is not a busy city of Tokyo and also not far from Tokyo. At the same time, the hotel street along come with many types of local authentic restaurants as well as the hotel downstairs do have Lawson. Highly highly recommended this hotel!!!

We extended our stay here and the price is cheaper with booking at Trip.com compared with onsite.  The hotel is of Perfect location for shopping & dining that is just adjacent to Tanukikoji Shopping Street.  You feel good staying here with staff at reception and housekeeping are welcoming and friendly.  The hotel has a cosy lounge area in which you can enjoy a cuppa and simple snack there.  You can open the window in the room for fresh air and the air conditioner is adjustable with quiet functioning. Room space is in the average range of Japan ‘s Hotels room and the internal set-up is sensible.  The sound isolation is good for me, I couldn’t notice noise outside/beside.  Only found inconvenience for the laundry as it is always busy with only 2 set of machines.  We had a really pleasant stay and definitely will come back if we visit Sapporo again.

This is my second stay here, and I personally find it quite good. It's very close to Hakata Station; after taking the bus from the airport to Hakata Station, it's less than a 10-minute walk. The rooms are also fine.

The breakfast offers a good mix of Japanese and Western options, including salads, bread, cakes, as well as ramen and rice (where you can add your own broth). For drinks, there's coffee, milk, and juice.

The only minor inconvenience is that the room's air conditioning only has four settings (off, low, medium, high) without specific temperature control. Medium felt too cold, while low felt too hot. However, it's a minor issue overall. I'd probably stay here again if I come back to Fukuoka.
