Arrived at Haneda T2 on a late flight, and after clearing customs and collecting checked luggage, it was already 11 PM. Not wanting any more hassle, Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu was the best choice. However, the signage wasn't very clear; I followed a sign and mistakenly went up to the third floor (where I accidentally discovered a 24-hour FamilyMart) before realizing that the hotel is actually straight ahead at the end of the international arrivals hall, no need to go up or down elevators. The room was quite spacious and well-laid out, with enough space to fully open my suitcase. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel also offers massage services, and the price wasn't too expensive after checking. After checking out, you can store your luggage at the lobby, grab a bite, and do some shopping at the airport. You can also exit directly from another hotel door to an outdoor taxi stand, which is very convenient. Apart from the slightly high price, there were no downsides. This time, I managed to book it at a lower price in advance and finally got to experience it!

I've stayed here a few times and it's a reliable no frills business hotel. Average size room for Japan, staff efficient, very well located (worth noting that some rooms face the railway tracks, though sound insulation is pretty good).

This hotel is quite famous, so the price isn't cheap; it's comparable to a 500 RMB hotel in China. Not all rooms offer great views. Lower floor rooms only look out onto air conditioners and the roofs of nearby low-rise buildings. I recommend booking a higher floor room. The elevator lobby offers excellent views, worth checking out. Its convenient location is, of course, a big plus.

Excellent location just 5 mins from the Shibuya JR. I was staying at semi-double room(20m2), but it’s spacious. The hotel provided all amenities and even heat pad at the reception. It was only 5-8。C during my visit so it’s very helpful! They gave me a complementary drink coupon at their lobby Bar during check in.

Fantastic location just a cross road away from Shibuya Station , and a hop and skip away from Hachiko statue and Shibuya crossing.We got in via Narita Express and dragged our luggage across the street to the hotel which was easy to find once you spot Bic Camera and McDonalds. Room was tiny but still very comfy and does the job if you wanted to be very close to the train station. Very quiet too so we slept very well. Plenty of amenities including laundry machine and dryers. Great spot for shopping and eating. Highly recommended if you don't mind small rooms.

This hotel is perfectly located right next to Shibuya Station and Shibuya Sky, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The staff are warm and courteous. Lying in the bathtub at night, gazing at Tokyo Tower while listening to city pop was a truly wonderful experience. The only minor drawback, which is a common issue in Japan, is that the food isn't quite as good as what you'd find back home; breakfast wasn't particularly delicious. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We liked this hotel is near at the subway and there’s a lot of restaurants nearby. But We traveled with our 2 babies 3y/o and 7months and we used a lots of clothes and this hotel don’t have a washing machine 😞. They offer laundry in house but it’s expensive. And then they gave us a 2 twins bed and push it together but didn’t put anything in the middle so my 7 months old baby got stuck in the middle all the time 😞.

The room is nice but there is no bathtub in the room which is not convenient for us because we have small children with us. The hangers in the entrance right side were covered with dust. There were coffee and water in the room since we have children we hope to have juice for the kids too.
The breakfast was very good, the cook and servers are very polite. The bread and miso soup was very good.

Having enjoyed a previous stay in February, I chose to return this July. I requested an east-facing room and was delighted that my wish was granted. The sunrise view towards the Skytree and the National Diet Building around 4:30 AM in summer is absolutely breathtaking, easily rivaling any dedicated observation deck experience. The Japanese set breakfast was both substantial and delicious, and the serene view of pine trees reflected in the restaurant's pond was incredibly soothing. Furthermore, perhaps owing to its prime location near the National Diet Building and the Prime Minister's Official Residence, the hotel offers incredibly convenient direct underground access to public transportation, yet the street-level environment remains remarkably quiet and tranquil. The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly, and the presence of Chinese-speaking personnel ensures that Chinese guests will face virtually no language barriers. On a delightful side note, the ambient fragrance used in The Capitol Hotel Tokyu's corridors is utterly captivating – I highly recommend making it available for purchase at the hotel's souvenir shop! I will absolutely be rebooking here for my next trip to Tokyo.

The hotel’s location was fantastic — right in the heart of Susukino with easy access to the subway, shopping mall, restaurants, and popular spots like Tanukikoji and Odori Park just a short walk away. It made exploring the city so convenient and fun. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the overall property felt fresh and well-maintained. I am impressed with the cleanness of the hotel room especially the toilet. Very comfortable stay!

Perfect hotel for a solo trip! The room size was just right for one person. The location is excellent, with a subway station very close by and an underground passage that takes you directly to any city attraction, shopping center, or JR station, which is incredibly convenient. With the room key card, you can also get discounts at the hotel's partner restaurants! I really loved the window; the view was great!

This time, I was on a high floor with a great view, and the room was bigger than last time, even with a large sofa. I dropped off my luggage around 8 AM and was able to check in early when I returned after 12 PM. The hygiene and service were both very good. There's also a 5:30 AM bus nearby to the airport, which is perfect for catching early flights.

The room was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating two large suitcases fully open. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around and find places to eat. The biggest pleasant surprise was the bathroom; not only did it have a separate wet and dry area, but it also featured a large bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel service was outstanding as well, with a warm, attentive, and highly responsive front desk. It was a very satisfying stay overall.

I rarely write reviews, probably less than ten times in my life, and this is my first negative one. The reason is that during check-in, I specifically told the staff that I suffer from severe insomnia and, since I was staying for two nights, requested a quiet room far from the elevator. The lady who handled my check-in, a woman with short, straight hair in her 40s or 50s, clearly stated that she had given me a room that met my requirements. (I lived and studied in Japan for decades as an early exchange student and now work between Japan and China, so I'm fluent in Japanese; there was no language barrier.) The room was indeed far from the elevator. When I entered, the curtains were closed, and being in a hurry for work, I didn't open them to check the outside environment. That night, I took sleeping pills and wore earplugs. But then, problems started. Soon after, I heard motorcycles roaring by. I got up and was shocked to find that they had given me a room right next to a main road. It was already 2 AM, and there were 5-6 taxis parked on the street (definitely a major thoroughfare). I decided against changing rooms because I had plans the next day, and unpacking and repacking all my luggage would have been too much hassle. On the second night, it wasn't just motorcycles but also fire trucks and ambulances passing by. I didn't get a single good night's sleep over the two nights. I've stayed in countless hotels in Japan over the years, and my requests are almost always met. This wasn't my first time at Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel either. I never expected that in this 'U-shaped' hotel, not only would I not get a quiet room, but they would do the complete opposite and give me the noisiest one. If my request couldn't be met during check-in, the front desk should have just told me directly instead of lying and saying they gave me a quiet room. It's truly disappointing 👎. During check-out, I specifically looked for the check-in staff's name tag; her name was Ogawa. I will never stay at this hotel again. Of course, the hotel probably won't care, otherwise, such an employee wouldn't exist. However, I hope Trip.com, as a platform, will intervene and put pressure on the hotel to reflect on and improve its service quality, ensuring that future guests with similar requests are satisfied.

This is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!
