The hotel location is excellent, near Kyoto Hall, with many restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. The environment is comfortable, and facilities are comprehensive. I arrived around 8 PM that night and spent a while looking for the front desk, only to find it on the third floor. They offer both assisted and self-service check-in. The self-service machine has a Chinese option and requires a card payment for tax, then it automatically dispenses the room key card, which is very convenient. Check-out is at 11 AM; you just drop the key card into a large box in the morning. The hotel lobby provides complimentary items like face masks, cosmetics, and toothbrushes for guests. They also offer services such as a microwave, laundry room, and luggage storage. There's an airport shuttle bus downstairs, but you need to buy tickets in advance. WeChat Pay and Alipay are not supported; only cash or credit/debit cards are accepted.

The hotel's downsides are that the room is too small, making it a bit inconvenient to fully open a large suitcase. It can also get quite lively with many guests. It's not particularly close to the subway, and a bit of a distance from Shinjuku Station.

The hotel has a free shuttle to Disneyland. 
The airport limo bus stops directly at the hotel. 
No house keeping. The rooms are very small. Can probably open one luggage at a time. 
Take note that during winter, the aircon is on heater mode. The room is very hot and stuffy. Only returned to the room at night, hence the temperature was still bearable. If during the day, I think the room will be extremely hot without the aircon.

Location: There is an underground walkway to Shinjuku Station but the walk takes 15min. Going to station in morning is ok as the walkway is downhill but walking from the station to the hotel is tough as the walkway is uphill.
Cleanliness: The cleaner was good for the first 6 days but my last day the cleaning staff did not throw away my used tea bag, nor clean the cup I used. 
Service: There is English speaking staff and provided accurate information on all my enquiries
Facilites: Self-service luggage storage, laundry with self dispensing laundry liquid, microwaves, take as many pillows and amenities as you like, including face mask and jojoba oil. There facilities are awesome

I was choosing between room in the Main building or Annex, I saw Annex has a higher rating than the Main so I went with Annex, which in my booking is 10% more expensive than the Main. In hind sight I should have gone with room in the Main building because Main building is directly connected to the underground walkway to the station without exposing to rain.

📍 Location & Accessibility
This hotel’s best feature is its incredible location — literally a few steps from Akihabara Station (JR, Metro Hibiya Line, and Tsukuba Express), making almost everywhere in Tokyo easy to reach. You’ll find restaurants, convenience stores, anime shops, and cafes right outside. Its placement in the heart of the Akihabara electronics and pop-culture district is perfect for tech lovers and casual explorers alike.  

🛏 Rooms & Comfort
Rooms are typical of central Tokyo — compact but functional. Standard amenities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a kettle. While some guests feel the rooms are small (especially with larger luggage), most find them clean and comfortable enough for short to medium stays. Bathrooms are small, as expected in Japanese city hotels, but generally well-maintained.  

✨ Cleanliness & Service
Overall, cleanliness scores high among guests, with many praising the housekeeping and friendly, helpful staff. Some reviews mention minor dust or cleanliness issues — like spots under furniture — but these reports are in the minority compared to the overwhelmingly positive feedback.  

🍽 Breakfast & Facilities
The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with Japanese and Western options (for a fee), and there’s also a Denny’s attached for convenient meals. Other facilities include vending machines, luggage storage, a business center, and 24-hour reception.

The hotel is very clean and the location is very convenient. It is very easy to find next to Lichuan Station and Lichuan South Station. There is free coffee juice tea and hot water in the lobby, which is very suitable for Chinese stomach. Will choose to live here.

The whole hotel gives an old impression.
The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set.
The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it.
I think there is a reason why it is cheap.
There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night.
I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

Located on the top of a business building linking to the Yamagata station.

You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining.

A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot.

Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them.

After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !

Wow, this is my first time staying in such a spacious room!

**Environment:** It's right by Exit 5 of Rinku Town Station, and there's a 24-hour supermarket next door. Getting to the outlets is super convenient too.

**Facilities:** They offer free luggage storage, and when you check in, they'll ask if you need the airport shuttle, which is also free.

**Service:** The front desk provides various toiletries.

There's a Family Mart convenience store on the second floor of the hotel, so you don't even need to go outside.
