Great location! The biggest plus is that the Limousine Airport Bus stop for both Haneda and Narita airports is right at the hotel's front entrance—direct access with no need to drag your luggage through the subway. The driver even helps load your bags, making this the top choice for families or travelers with large luggage. It's an 8-minute walk to Shinjuku Station via an underground walkway, so you don't have to worry about rain. There's a convenience store and a coin laundry inside the building, and you can weigh your luggage for free in the lobby, which is a very thoughtful touch. On the downside, typical of older Tokyo hotels, the rooms are a bit small, so opening luggage fully can be a tight squeeze. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money and makes arriving in and departing from Tokyo completely hassle-free.

I have to get staff assistance of Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel to store my luggage as I arrived at 9.25 am for the Tourism EXPO Japan exhibition. I also need staff assistance to check me in as I am not a Fujita member of the hotel.

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is strategically located as the nearest hotel to Tokyo Big Sight. Airport Limousine stops at this hotel to pick up guests for Haneda and Narita. The hotel is also located along the flight path from Haneda to other airports in Japan and the world as I can see planes flying overhead above my room and next to the lift on the top level. I also can see flocks of birds flying beyond Tokyo Big Sight.

During my stay, my USB-C charger did not work. The staff lent me the hotel's USB-C charger. Shortly, I learnt that the hotel's convenience store and later the hotel's miscellaneous item dispenser machine sell USB-C chargers. In the end, I decided to buy both USB-C chargers from the convenience store and dispenser machine with one as a back-up.

A USB-C charger from the dispenser machine costs only 200 Yen!

Complimentary breakfast at the George Town Restaurant consists of fish, salad, brown rice, fruits and many more. I am satisfied with the breakfast options but the restaurant does not serve dinner. The McDonald's Restaurant in the same building sells cheaper meals.

The amenity bar near the reception has an assortment of free toiletries including small body towels, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste for use in the room.

I will stay at Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel again for plane-spotting and EXPO attendance purposes.

The room was clean and had everything except a safe. Although not large, the bathroom facilities didn't feel cheap, and the bathtub was a normal size. The location is excellent, perfect for shopping in Akihabara, which is why I booked it. The Chinese-speaking female staff at the front desk were enthusiastic and patient. For breakfast, the beef has been replaced with pork, but all the other dishes are good. It's great value for money for a business hotel of its kind, directly facing Akihabara JR Station.

Had a great stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with all the toiletries I needed. There were also additional amenities available at the lobby that I could pick up right after check-in, which was really convenient.

The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, which made getting around Tokyo really easy. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for solo travellers! 😊

Had another enjoyable stay at Yamagata Eki Nishiguchi Washington Hotel. This time I especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, making it easy to get a proper rest even after a long day of travel.
The room was clean and well-kept, with everything functioning properly and arranged in a practical way. It’s not large, but it feels comfortable and efficient for solo travelers or short stays.
What stood out on this visit was the consistency of service—staff were still very polite and attentive, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The location near Yamagata Station continues to be a big advantage, especially for early departures or late arrivals.
Overall, a dependable and restful hotel that delivers consistent comfort and convenience. A solid choice whenever staying in Yamagata.

Although it's a bit far from the main attractions, the bus stop and convenience store right downstairs make it quite convenient. The room was clean, and the soundproofing was decent. The staff were very friendly.

I specifically made a trip here at the end of the month before the Rinku Town SEACLE Ferris wheel closed. There are many hotels nearby, and I chose the Washington Hotel as it offered the best value for money. Connected to the covered walkway from Exit 5, although it has been open for many years, it is very well maintained and doesn't feel dated at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and even proactively asked if I needed to book the airport shuttle. The convenience store on the second floor has direct access to the hotel floors, which is super convenient.
