Four Points Stays in Kunming

Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a King Executive Room, which was spacious and comfortable. The hygiene was excellent, and the shower was great. The service at this long-standing hotel was top-notch; they even thoughtfully stored our valuables in an inner room when we checked our luggage. The hotel's location is extremely convenient. There's a mall downstairs with many affordable luxury brands. It's a short taxi ride to Kunming Station, and within walking distance of Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, which we simply walked to. There are plenty of dining options nearby; even when we arrived late, we found delicious beef pancakes and rice noodles downstairs.

The overall experience was great, highly recommend it. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. They patiently answered all my questions, never cold or unhelpful, making for a very comfortable service experience. The hotel design is very stylish, and the restaurant is beautiful, not an old-fashioned or dull style. The room was spacious and clean, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel is located in the city center, with many local specialty shops right outside. In the evening, you can explore the Dongjiawan Night Market nearby, which offers a wide variety of snacks, making it easy to find authentic local food. It's a bit over two kilometers from the old street, but that's not an issue as taxis are readily available. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I’m very satisfied overall and will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

After landing in Kunming, Yunnan, I specifically chose this hotel because it's so close to the airport ✈️. My trip started off rough, with a flight delay of a full 7 hours, so I didn't get out of the airport until 4 AM. I called the hotel to ask about airport pickup, just to see if it was possible, and to my surprise, they immediately arranged a 7-seater car to pick us up. It made the late-night journey so much less stressful. When checking in, we tentatively asked if we could have a late check-out to catch up on sleep. The front desk was incredibly accommodating and instantly granted us a 2 PM check-out. If we didn't have a 4 PM train to catch, I feel like they would have extended it even further for us. After only a few hours of sleep, we found the breakfast to have a wide variety of options; pretty much everything you'd expect was there. Great value for money. I have to praise the hotel for also having self-service laundry facilities – an absolute godsend for families traveling with kids. Finally, a place to wash clothes on the road! The room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was a pleasant surprise: green fields, local houses, and blue skies with white clouds as far as the eye could see. The family room we booked was very thoughtfully equipped, with an extra bed suitable for an older child to rest. After a good night's sleep, we completely recovered from the exhaustion of staying up late. The hotel grounds are well-landscaped, and there are even children's play facilities. For an overnight layover or as a transition point with kids, this hotel is truly a perfect fit.

I have to specifically commend the hotel's environment and cleanliness! Every corner of the room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was brand new, and the room had excellent soundproofing – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The amenities were great, with plenty of hot water and strong air conditioning. The staff, Li Juan Vivian and Manager Liu, were incredibly enthusiastic and responsive. The price was also very reasonable. I felt safe, relaxed, and at ease during my stay.

I chose this hotel for a trip with my girlfriend, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, with no strange odors, and the facilities were complete and in good working order. We had a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff, Monica, was very responsive to our needs. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.
