Four Points Stays in Kunming

This hotel is an absolute must-stay when visiting the city, with an unbeatable location! Not only are the hotel's services and facilities comprehensive, but the staff are also incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. You won't have to worry about dining or shopping here, as it's surrounded by all sorts of delicious food options and malls, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the space was just right for two people with two large suitcases. Oh, and definitely don't forget to order some takeout and experience interacting with their delivery robot – it's really fun! Highly recommend!

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Kunming; I'm a loyal customer. This time, the male staff member at the front desk provided excellent service – he was enthusiastic, attentive, and very patient. He proactively helped me switch to a more suitable room, considering my needs, and made the check-in process efficient and thoughtful, which made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the overall service and environment are impeccable. It offers great value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Also, I discovered the coffee at the entrance is quite good.

This time, to catch an early flight back to Qingdao, I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Changshui Airport the night before. The overall experience was very smooth and perfectly met the need of 'sleeping and then leaving'. 🚗 Airport Shuttle: The airport shuttle service was what I liked the most. The 5 AM shuttle the next morning was also punctual, with services at 4 AM and 5 AM, so there was no need to worry about missing the flight. You just need to arrange the time with the front desk in advance, which was very convenient. 🛌 Room & Sleep: I was initially worried it might be noisy near the airport, but the room's soundproofing was excellent; with the window closed, you could barely hear any airplane noise. The bedding was comfortable, and the curtains had good blackout effects. Although I only slept for a few hours, the quality was high. The front desk also proactively upgraded my room type, which was a nice touch. The pillows could be a bit more comfortable.

This room was infested with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes and other bugs were crawling all over us while we slept. Apart from Joyce Wang at the front desk, who was excellent, the service from everyone else was truly disappointing. They kept passing the buck when I tried to address the mosquito problem. First, they said they'd switch our room, but after waiting half an hour with no update, I called again and was told it wasn't possible, and that was that. Only after I got really angry did they suggest the manager could arrange for us to pay to move to another hotel room. It was already past 11 PM – what's the point of moving then? While the hotel being fully booked might be true, it's no excuse for such poor service and attitude. Leaving guests in a bug-ridden room is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.

I chose this hotel for a trip with my girlfriend, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, with no strange odors, and the facilities were complete and in good working order. We had a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff, Monica, was very responsive to our needs. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.
