Great hotel. Two big towers of rooms, great views from the windows. Wi-Fi is good. Everything very clean. The light rail (tram) is right outside so it's easy to get around. There's a small convenience store and a takeaway place right next door but otherwise you need to take the tram up or down the track to get food. No complaints at all. I was booked four nights but extended to stay longer.

I booked the pet room with my dog and was really happy with the room. The room is spacious and clean, it also has a backyard for my dog which was really great. I thought I had to pay for parking but the staff told me the parking at the front of the building is free and I was quite lucky and managed to get a spot when I got there. Location is great, not far from CBD and all the resturants so there were lot food choices. Also really loved the building and the garden, will definitely be choosing Mercure next time I am in Canberra.

location was excellent, love the rows of red pin oak trees lining nearby streets during Autumn ( late April), had the 2 bedroom apartment ,
some small comment, had to wait 30 minutes in the car when we arrived at 2 pm due to room not prepared ,the electric blanket wasn't working in the main bedroom, and the door to the balcony was open when we enter, otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Located in the heart of Canberra, just a stone's throw away from the largest shopping center, which is super convenient. There's even a casino right across the street đ¤Ł, I didn't expect to see one in such a small city. Overall, Canberra is a very clean and quiet little city. The hotel is really good, just a bit on the pricey side.

Disappointing, I participated in the National AGM of the largest association in the world and the hotel ran out of one of the most popular tap beer and white wine, just one hour after the guests checked-in/arrived.
The hotel advertised 1 hour happy hour every day but the Op Manager staff the bar with only one bartender. Guests lining up for half hour to get the happy hour deal, to be told, âsorry, the 'happy hour' is finished.
The AGM room lighting set up absolutely poor, hard to see and hear anyone, the committee having to re-organise the room.
If it wasn't for the every day cleaning the room and the breakfast service, I would have ranked the hotel less than 3 stars, at @ 279/night.
I have stayed at other properties in Canberra, such as Kurajong Hotel, for less money but for exceptional experience.

1. The location is great, right in the heart of Canberra city center, near Canberra Centre, making it convenient for both shopping and dining. There's a bus stop right downstairs, though it's a bit of a walk to the light rail station.
2. They offer triple rooms, which are perfect for families of three, and the price is reasonable. The per-person cost is quite acceptable for Australia.
3. The room was pretty clean, and the soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet.
4. The front desk service was decent; they were willing to help with any issues. We were even allowed to check in early, before the official check-in time. However, you'll need some English proficiency, and occasionally the front desk staff isn't present.
5. The facilities are quite comprehensive, including a kitchen area and a fridge. But since the hotel has been open for a while, some of the in-room amenities show signs of age.
6. The windows don't open.
7. Slippers and toothbrushes aren't provided, and the shower gel and shampoo had a rather odd scent.
8. The duvet situation was still very strange: it's the kind where two sheets sandwich the duvet insert, which seems to be a common feature in Australian hotels.

Overall, our stay at Madison Apartments was pleasant once we finally got into the room. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed â from toiletries to kitchen essentials. The A/C wasnât working properly at the time, but it wasnât a big issue since the weather was cool.
However, the check-in process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had called ahead to ask if we could check in just 30 minutes early as I wasnât feeling well and needed to rest. Upon arriving around 1:35 pm, we were told the room wasnât ready, which I completely understood since the official check-in time was 2 pm. But when we came back at 2:40 pm, the room was âstill not readyâ. The receptionist asked us to wait another 30 minutes to an hour â we ended up waiting until almost 3:30 pm, and it was still not prepared.
It was honestly a terrible start to our stay â being sick, exhausted, and having nowhere to rest while continuously being told âjust a little longer.â The receptionist was kind and apologetic, but it was clear she wasnât getting any real updates from housekeeping. It felt disorganised and unprofessional for an apartment of this standard.
Breakfast was another letdown for $25 per person â very basic, with no hot food. Just bread, cereal, fruit in syrup, and some bakery items. The pancakes were the only saving grace. Coffee mix wasnât good either.
Once inside, though, the apartment itself made up for it â spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need. Itâs a nice place overall, but the check-in process seriously needs improvement.

The hotel and everything was good but the room service was not included. It was not clarified during the booking. So the room cleaning etc. wasn't offered and had to get change of towels from reception. Also, the balcony was useless as it was blocked by a taller building in front. Only good thing was the location and size of the apartment.

The location is super convenient. You can take the Route 3 bus directly from the airport to the hotel entrance, and several major attractions are also accessible by public transport. Plus, it's right next to the bustling Canberra Centre shopping mall. However, the soundproofing isn't great. On Saturday night, around 11 PM, motorbikes were racing past with a really loud roar, and it didn't quiet down until about 2 AM. I could also clearly hear the sound of water running when someone showered next door. Sunday night, though, was very quiet. Overall, the hostel is quite clean. There's a projector on the third floor, an outdoor area on the top floor to relax, and multiple fridges on the first floor if you want to cook your own meals.

Very clean and bright, with complete facilities.
It is very convenient to go anywhere in the city center. When I had something to ask the hotel front desk, they also helped me enthusiastically. Thank them very much

Amazing
GGuest UserHands down the best location to stay! Right in the heart of the city allowing you to walk to main attractions and easily catch public transport to the major galleries and museums. The studio room was fantastic with excellent amenities and the staff were lovely, I will definitely stay here again the future!
EElizavetaViGreat stay in Canberra
Really enjoyed our stay at Adina Hotel Canberra. The apartment was spacious, modern, and very clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent â close to restaurants, shops, and key attractions, making it easy to get around the city.
Staff were friendly and professional, check-in was smooth, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. A great option for both short and longer stays. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. đ
GGuest UserExcellent, with all the white goods including clothes dryer in the room, pool, gym, sauna are all in good condition but the tennis court and tennis rackets are very poor..Â
location is very convenient.
SSamantha AltmannBreakfast ďź could deal with more options. Coffee was good though. The parking situation (pay $30 for parking, yet for it to be âfirst come first serveâ is so incredibly frustrating.
Hotel lounge area has a fun politics theme, so I did enjoy that (being the nerd I am). The location isnât the best, heaps of roadworks, pretty baron, you need a car or uber to get around. Staff were friendly.
GGuest UserWe checked in at 2pm but didnât enter our room until around 4pm. My 3-year-old son and I opened the door to find a middle-aged man **************** inside the room. Reception later admitted they had issued us the wrong key.
This is not a âmistakeâ â it is a serious failure in safety procedures and room-key management. A child being exposed to a ***** stranger is unacceptable. The hotelâs response was a complimentary breakfast, followed by a refund of a minibar Apple juice and parking at checkout, which does not come close to addressing the seriousness of the incident. A pre-requested cot also never arrived and had to be collected by my husband ourselves, highlighting further operational issues.
The location is excellent, but due to the lack of basic safety and professional handling of this incident, we will not be staying here again.
CClaire in the airStylish hotel with a central location. Recommend the atrium rooms as the sun room we were in faced the busy highway and was quite noisy. The aircon also seemed to have issues.
Watch out for parking, itâs relatively expensive and the street parking nearby doesnt do overnight unless you are leaving before 6am.
Otherwise a pleasant stay.
LLaodieConfiguration of a rural guesthouse.
The village is not big, and the location is not very meaningful. The air circulation in the room is too poor, and the musty smell is obvious. The staff has a good service attitude! But the facilities are simple and shabby! Not recommended!
GGuest UserThe overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible.
