It was a last minute booking. Thankfully there was still available room. Received friend message from hotel staff asking arrival time. Though I arrived slightly later than mentioned timing, staff was friendly (speaking in Chinese) to still allow processing of booking.. Thankful for a “free room upgrade” due to insufficient room for solo traveller.. Thiugh there was no front desk staff after 11pm.. but staff did mention there is available help through Line App.. There was also available wifi to be used. Amenities for one time usage was not available due to the law in Taiwan.. So do bring along your own Toothpaste and toothbrush, etc

The location is downtown, very close to the bus terminal, yet tucked away in a small alley, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle.
I was traveling alone to Qiwuling, so I chose a backpacker's dormitory room. It had air conditioning, and the sheets and pillows were clean. Just remember to bring your own towels, or you'll have to rent them from the owner.
The lounge was great, and they even offered free instant noodles.
The owner was also very polite and friendly. For a budget-friendly and convenient B&B, this is a great value.

The service from the staff was very good & perlite. The place is clean & has free drinks & snack at the lobby. Breakfast was good & nice. There is a night market but only operated on weekend. It’s the cheapest place to stay.

Very close to the night market, it is very convenient to eat and visit the night market.
Like netizens commenting that the sound insulation is very poor, the three rooms from us are also clear and can hear all kinds of sounds.
The room smelled bad with a drain.
But the hot water is very hot, there is a simple game area on the top floor for children to play,
The bed was very soft I personally liked, and there was no problem with a short overnight stay.

Very satisfied! 👍🏻 The room was super spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities for kids. The hotel's location in Puli is excellent, and it even has its own free underground parking, which is a huge plus. Great value for money!

It has been for dacades, so a bit outdated. We even had a small cockroach in the room 😨 well is quiet normal in Taiwan 😟

The owner was incredibly friendly! 😘 When my boyfriend wanted to take a shower, he told me there was no hot water. I called the owner, and she immediately sent someone to check. I guess my husband is just clumsy; the hot water problem was solved right away.
Breakfast starts at 8:00 AM. They have coffee, soy milk, congee with preserved egg and lean pork, and corn and egg stir-fry.
Toast 🍞 It was pretty good overall. It was so nice to be away from home for so long!
If you're planning a trip to Nantou, you should definitely check out Black Jazz! Thumbs up!

GGuest UserAs with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

GGuest UserGreat location, super close to everything in Ita Thai. Rooms are SO SPACIOUS! I’m 5’4 and I could almost stand up in the pod. There’s even room for your bags next to the bed and the whole pod locks so you don’t have to spay for a separate locker.
Staff are friendly. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom/shower room. There’s a kitchen area on ground floor and a rooftop. It wasn’t a sociable hostel really, but I wasn’t there for that so it was perfect.

XXinluoyuanThe highlight of choosing the Fleur de Chine Hotel at Sun Moon Lake was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Taichung HSR station. Besides the excellent service and beautiful scenery, the hotel rooms not only have their own hot springs but there's also a public hot spring for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is served until 12 PM, and dinner includes a complimentary bottle of wine per table. The beds in the rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the mini-fridge is stocked with free drinks. In the afternoon, there's a shuttle bus service to the pier, and if you want to take the round-the-lake bus, they even provide a free one-day pass. The shuttle back to Taichung departs at 12 PM, so I regrettably didn't get a chance to visit many attractions. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity.

AArtLLocation is super convenient, barely 50m from the 7-eleven and SML's Nantou Bus Ticketing counter where Nantou Bus 6670 from Taichung drop passengers. The ground floor of the B&B is a elegantly decorated tea-shop and had a pleasant whiff of red-dates chinese tea, very welcoming on a hot day. Our room was nicely renovated, very cosy and clean, well laid out, with Taiwan cable channels and Youtube smart TV box. It has modern toilet fittings and very refreshing lightly scented shampoo and body wash in dispensers. The lady at the counter (小芸) was absolutely helpful. She sold us discounted ferry tickets compared to buying from the counters at the pier, explained activities to do and places to visit and boat/bus routes around SML when we arrived and gave us a WhatsApp to contact her for any queries. She also advised us to visit Itashao to taste the street foods for lunch and recommend places for dinner through WhatsApp after returning to Shiushe without pushing us to visit the restaurants nor buy tea from the shop. Truly warm ********* hospitality and the best part of staying in this B&B.

VVivian_LoEnjoying the lake view from the balcony was a real treat. Breakfast was simple. The location is in the busiest commercial area, which is super convenient. The room was clean, and the family room was quite spacious. Unfortunately, the pillows weren't very comfortable, and the bed was a little on the firm side. The air conditioning unit between the two beds emitted a glaring blue light when turned on, which disrupted my sleep. I'm not sure if there's a way to turn off that indicator light, or if they should put a sticker over it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, making it convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the stay pleasant and welcoming. The bathroom appears to have been renovated recently and is clean and modern.
However, the carpet in the room and in the common areas are quite dated and does not meet current standards. An update would significantly improve the overall comfort and impression of the room. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay thanks to the location and service, but some room upgrades—particularly the carpet—would make a noticeable difference.

Soundproofing is a bit poor, and the lighting at night is slightly insufficient. There's a water dispenser, which is convenient. There are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs in the mountains, so I suggest adding screens to the doors or installing screen doors.

The hotel is ideally located in Shuishe, a stop for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, offering convenient transportation while still being quiet. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center where you can catch the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and the round-the-lake bus. Since there aren't many shops or food stalls in Shuishe at night, we chose a room package that included dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel, allowing us to relax and enjoy, offering great value for money. The in-room bathtub was perfect for a hot soak, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. We'd be happy to book this hotel again next time.

AAmmber安波Awesome! They offer free bicycles for cycling around the lake. B3 has a game room with table tennis and billiards, plus a free basketball arcade machine. The gym has treadmills and spin bikes. The lake view rooms face the beautiful lake. The quad room even has a Japanese-style tatami room. Excellent value for money. It's only a 15-minute walk from Shuishe Pier, super convenient if you get hungry late at night!
