"This hotel is very close to Guilin's famous Four Lakes and Two Rivers, making it a fantastic base for exploring the area. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor with a beautiful view, which made for a really enjoyable start to the day. The spread was great too, with a nice variety of both Chinese and Western options to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very attentive throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Guilin!"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes. I visited Guilin over twenty years ago and remembered this area being great. So, on this trip, I decisively booked this hotel. I was expecting it to be excellent, given it's a five-star hotel. The service was impeccable, no complaints there. However, the hotel's facilities definitely need an upgrade. The bathroom vanity looks like it's 20 years old. I was surprised to hear the hotel was renovated in 2020 – why wasn't this cabinet door replaced? The most significant issue is that for such a large hotel, there's no self-service laundry room. Even average 200-yuan budget hotels offer this now. As a tourist city, visitors to Guilin surely have laundry needs, and this is incredibly inconvenient. The cost for laundry service is also quite high. Why not install a self-service laundry room to better serve guests? There are hundreds of rooms, and plenty of guests, just on the first floor alone."

This hotel exceeded every expectation and became one of the biggest highlights of our trip. From the incredible location and breathtaking views to the outstanding service and unforgettable experiences, everything was simply perfect. 📍 The Perfect Location The hotel is perfectly located next to Fubo Hill, with beautiful views of the Li River and Guilin’s iconic karst mountains. The Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area, restaurants, cafés, shopping streets, and many of the city’s top attractions are all within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. 🏊 Stunning Rooftop Infinity Pool The rooftop infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. Swimming while enjoying panoramic views of the Li River and Guilin’s spectacular mountain landscape was one of the most memorable moments of our stay. It’s truly one of the most beautiful hotel pools we’ve ever experienced. 🍜 Breakfast with an Incredible View Every morning began with a delicious breakfast overlooking the Li River and the surrounding karst mountains. The food was excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the beautiful scenery made every breakfast feel special. 🛏️ Beautiful Rooms The room was spacious, spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. ❤️ Exceptional Hospitality The staff were among the friendliest we’ve met during our travels. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. 🎣 Authentic Local Experiences This hotel offers so much more than just a place to stay. One of our favorite experiences was traditional riverside fishing with cormorants, which was both relaxing and uniquely local. We also loved the Chinese calligraphy class, children’s craft activities, and the complimentary traditional costume photoshoot with three beautifully edited photos included. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families Our children loved the spacious indoor playroom and all the activities prepared by the hotel. It is an excellent choice for families traveling with kids. 🍽️ Excellent Restaurant We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were genuinely impressed. "First off, I have to praise the hotel's service. If I were to rate the staff's service alone, I'd give it a perfect 10! From proactively contacting me the day before check-in, guiding me on transportation, asking if I needed help with luggage before arrival, to offering recommendations for nearby dining and attractions, afternoon tea, evening congee, and morning rice noodles... even following up to ask if I'd arrived at my next destination after I left – their attention to detail made me feel completely at home. The hotel's location is right in Dongxi Alley, but it's not noisy at night. From the rooftop observation deck, you can see the mountain of Jingjiang Prince's Mansion... though I have to say the view is just average, haha. The room itself was very comfortable. Having tea on the tatami in the morning was perfect for relaxing and clearing my mind. If the view outside the window were better, I might have been tempted to stay an extra day. The facilities and amenities were complete; although a little old (which is understandable), they were still very comfortable to use overall, and there's even a bathtub! My only suggestion would be to improve the water pressure in the bathroom, it was a bit low. The breakfast was quite simple, but as the staff mentioned, the rice noodles they cooked were incredibly delicious, much better than the ones I had at Tianyuan Rice Noodle yesterday. The afternoon tea, on the other hand, was quite lavish. All in all, a great review!"

"The facilities are excellent. The hairdryer is from Laifen, and the room has everything you could need. The cleanliness was great upon check-in; it was spotless. The staff will proactively ask if you'd like your room cleaned, and they are very friendly. The environment is superb. The large window in the room on the 6th floor offers a beautiful view, including the river. The room doors are solid wood and provide good sound insulation. It seems there are only four rooms on the 6th floor, and the decor is lovely with solid wood furniture. The staff are all wonderful. They even warned me that there would be street performers (who were incredibly tasteful and sang beautifully) outside in the evening, which I unfortunately didn't get to hear. There's also a bar on the top floor, though it wasn't open when I went up during the day. The sightseeing experience from the top floor is truly excellent, offering even more views. There's also a cat named 'Manfang' (Full House) there, who is super cute and not afraid of people. I'll add photos in a couple of days; they are currently on my camera."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Elephant Trunk Hill Park, with Guilin People's Hospital and Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas Park nearby. Zheng Yang Road Pedestrian Street is just 500 meters away, and you'll find specialty supermarkets, restaurants, and shops all around. While the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities are very well-maintained. We booked a room on the 4th floor, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a room facing Elephant Trunk Hill. Although trees obstructed a direct view of the hill, the hotel's 7th-floor restaurant offers a fantastic spot to admire and take photos of it. Overall, the service was good."

The bathroom is incredibly spacious, featuring a double vanity and a large bathtub; the bathtub liner was a thoughtful detail. The common areas are simple, sophisticated, and well-designed, creating a great ambiance. The service is attentive and thorough, with a fast check-in process that makes settling in effortless. "Coming to Guilin, I didn't want to spend every day traveling long distances, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The location offers direct access to Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Pagodas, while East West Alley and Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street are within walking distance. During the day, you can enjoy the scenic landscapes, and in the evening, explore the night market and slurp up some rice noodles. The itinerary was relaxed and unhurried. The room was simple yet sophisticated, with a great sense of design, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. A highlight was the 8th-floor infinity pool, surrounded by lush greenery, offering stunning views of the karst peaks – perfect for capturing amazing vacation photos! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodle stand was incredibly authentic."

"This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!"
