My experience at this hotel was not the best.
One of the most frustrating things was that whenever I needed something, I had to go down to the service desk myself. They do not deliver items to the room, which was very inconvenient. In most hotels I am used to, requested items are brought directly to the room.
The room was missing toothpaste and a towel, and even after requesting them, they were not delivered upstairs.
I also noticed that the blanket had a small hole. It is not a major issue, but personally I prefer everything to be in good condition.
Overall, I expected more attention to detail and better service

I stayed there myself in a 4 bed dormitory room. It was an excellent room and I liked the service. But it is better to have a socket near the bed for charging. They have two usb charging ports near every beds but it is better to have a c port or a charging socket. But overall, I liked it. Especially the staffs are always helpful. I am highly recommend it to whom who are looking for a cheap accommodationđ

Both the location and access to bus, train and light rail were absolutely fine, so the food at the hotel was top notch, and the help from the staff was absolutely impeccable, very helpful and accommodating, thank you for everything and we will use this hotel on a future trip to Berlin, best regards Roy JĂžrgensen

The hotel is in East Berlin. It seems to have been renovated by a factory building. The housing space is not large, but it is adequate, clean and cost-effective. There is an Asian supermarket next to it. It is run by Vietnamese. The pure ribs only cost 5 euros per kilogram. There is a bus in front of the hotel. Car M8 can go directly to the railway station. It is very convenient for us to go from Berlin to Frankfurt. Simple accommodation is quite satisfactory.

This is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay. Â
I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hansonâs and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer. Â
The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily. Â There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed). Â The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though weâre all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light. Â
The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.Â
Everything was clean.Â
Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.Â
There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.Â
There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.Â
The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.Â
Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.

I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 4. Its location is excellentâright in the heart of Alexanderplatz, surrounded by public transport, plenty of food options, grocery stores, and nearby sights. However, through no fault of the hotel, it sits very close to a church whose bells ring extremely loudly at 8 a.m. every morning. Even with earplugs, I was woken up daily.
The front desk staff were friendly, checkâin was easy, and I really appreciated the keyless entry system using door codesâone less thing to worry about misplacing. The room itself is a smart use of space for a short stay or for travellers who mainly need a place to rest rather than spend long periods inside. I liked the bunk bed for one child above the main bed, and the convenient light switches by the beds.
The pillows, however, were a real disappointmentâcompletely lacking firmness. My travel partner didnât use theirs at all, saying, âItâs no use pretending itâs doing anything.â Iâd recommend requesting extra pillows unless you prefer sleeping very flat. One thing I wasnât aware of beforehand is that the shower is not enclosed behind a bathroom door. If youâre sharing with people youâre not fully comfortable with, this could be an issue. You may need to coordinate shower times so others can step out. The toilet, at least, is in its own separate space. The shower has a combined hair/body wash, but thereâs no complimentary body lotion or tissues. I didnât try the breakfast, so I canât comment on that, and thereâs no complimentary coffee available.
I would stay here again if it werenât for the church bells. If youâre a deep sleeper, it may not bother you, but light sleepers should be aware.

The hotel is a bit older and looks dated, but it is clean and inviting. The beds are very comfortable. The noise from the minibar was disturbing at night (how is it even working when it is empty?), otherwise it was very quiet.
We found the breakfast disappointing, contrary to the other reviews. Lots of convenience products, no fresh spreads apart from hummus and quark, little choice of bread rolls. It was okay, but don't expect fancy, fresh, sumptuous homemade food. We thought that was a shame, as the hotel was really great. The restaurant that serves breakfast could put a little more effort into fresh food

The location is perfect, with easy access to the metro and nearby grocery stores. Anyway, there was something wrong with the air conditioning when I stayed there and it was already warm in Berlin, and the receptionist told they couldn't fix it till I left. However, I will choose this hotel again next time and will consider other countries as well; we simply need to ensure that the AC and heating are operational during your stay.

AAnonymous UserThis apartment hotel is great! Just set it directly! Very clean and hygienic, comfortable temperature, spacious suite space, and kitchen, you can go to the supermarket to buy things and make a simple meal. The location is also very convenient, downstairs is the subway and bus stop. There are also several supermarket convenience stores. Very recommended! The front desk has fixed business hours, it is recommended to make an appointment in advance, otherwise no one will receive.
I have lived in a few old and small hotels in Europe before, and I am really surprised!
LLambert_I stayed at the nhow Hotel Berlin with friends for 6 nights around New Year's. While there were some positive aspects, overall, the experience felt quite inconsistent for a 4-star hotel.
The positives:
- The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
- Soundproofing between the rooms was good.
- The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
However, there were numerous issues that detracted from the experience:
- Reservation Mix-Up: I had specifically requested two single beds instead of a double bed, but this was not reflected in the room assignment upon arrival.
- Missing Amenities: Basic items in a hotel like bathrobes and slippers were missing from the room, and we were told to order them via room service. Unfortunately, the app didnât work, and no one at the reception answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days.
- Light and Noise Issues: While the rooms were soundproofed well from other rooms, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. Additionally, there was a gap under the door, letting light from the corridor into the room at night, which made it impossible to have complete darkness.
- Wellness Area: The wellness area was underwhelming. There was no jacuzzi, only a sauna and a hammam, and the hammam was out of service. The gym locker room lights stopped working after a certain time, and towels were unavailable later in the day.
- Misleading Information: A brochure in the room mentioned that phone chargers were available via room service. However, we were told at the reception that these were no longer provided for free and had to be purchased for âŹ20.
While the hotel wasnât bad overall, these recurring small issues added up and left us feeling that the service didnât meet the expectations for a 4-star establishment. Itâs a shame because we did enjoy our stay to some extent, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing.
If I return to Berlin, I wonât rule out staying here again, but Iâll definitely check other options first.
GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, and transportation is the biggest plus. The light rail and subway are right in front of the hotel and very close to the city center. The single room I booked was an attic room with a sloping roof and an area of ââless than 15 square meters. It was a little cramped and depressing when I checked in.
The front desk service is good, professional and enthusiastic. The room price is more than 900 per night. I feel that the price/performance ratio is not high. If I come to Berlin again, I probably won't stay here again.
GGuest UserThe hotelâs location is great for sightseeing, close to many tourist hotspots and is easily accessible by public transport. The room is of good size for a hotel room in a major capital city. Buffet breakfast is good but would be even better if some varieties can be introduced on different days. Overall, a good choice hotel for tourists.
GGuest UserWonderful hotel with great rooms, very stylish and good facilities. The breakfast is great, in the evening there is a DJ in the courtyard and the service and attentiveness of the staff is very good.
The Stue is fully recommended and we would be happy to come back next time we are in Berlin.
KKathyGomez0615The room was super clean. The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance from a shopping mall and the train station. We tried ordering room service but we didnât have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.
GGuest UserThe hotelâs location and cleanliness are very good. It is about 5 stations away from the city center, roughly 8â10 minutes.
However, it is very noisyâsounds from other doors make it difficult to sleep. In the early morning, you can also hear the room service moving around.
GGuest UserThey provided a late check-in which was super convenient. The room was quite cosy and the bed could be small for a huge person (bunk-bed in a 4 person dormitory). For me, it was perfect for a few hours of sleep.
The bathrooms and washrooms are shared and accessible separately outside the rooms. Very clean and comfortable stalls for a nice shower.
The breakfast didn't have a lot of vegetarian options and it was a small spread, but enough for a quick bite in the morning.
The staff is all helpful and friendly. Overall a good stay for a short time and on a budget.
The location was also very convenient to reach from the S bahn and tram station.
