Good location with a lot of eateries around. Hotel staff are very helpful, in particular, for booking taxi for 5am pick up to airport.

I stayed here for two nights right after landing in Fukuoka, and even as a solo traveler, the room felt incredibly cramped. I quickly switched hotels on the third day. The room was tiny and dated, giving off a vibe reminiscent of a guesthouse from the last century. You basically stepped out of the door and were immediately at the bed. My suitcase could only perch precariously on a folding luggage rack. The cleanliness was mediocre. The bathroom seemed quite clean and looked like it had been thoroughly scrubbed, but the room walls were very dirty with black marks. It wasn't until I opened my suitcase and its wheels rubbed against the wall that I realized where those black marks came from. Even though it was a non-smoking floor, the air in the room wasn't great. After just one night, my tonsils became inflamed. Those with sensitivities should definitely avoid this place. Toiletries and bathrobes were self-service in the lobby downstairs. The small packets of toner and lotion were surprisingly good, and the compressed exfoliating mitt was also quite useful. Drinking water wasn't provided, but there was a self-service laundry room. The hotel's location is pretty good, though. Le Labo is directly across the street, and there are many trendy shops and restaurants nearby. Tenjin shopping district is also within walking distance. It was quite cheap when I booked it, so I won't complain too much. It's suitable for backpackers.

Overall, it's pretty good. It's a new building, and the cleanliness is about 98%. The location is in a residential area, so besides taking a taxi or bus, it's about a 20-30 minute walk to Canal City. To the right of the exit, there's a supermarket, convenience store, and restaurants. There's no front desk or luggage storage service; it's all smart check-in and check-out. If you have any issues, it can be a bit difficult to get assistance. For longer stays, there isn't enough laundry detergent, and towels can't be changed. There's a simple induction cooker, cutlery, a fridge, and a microwave. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience.

Honestly, based on reviews, I was expecting the bare minimum from this hotel, but everything actually turned out great. The room was quite comfortable, I could open my suitcase without it blocking the bathroom door. Everything was clean, and the room felt quite new. I stayed for three nights and was happy with everything. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't give advice on that. Otherwise, if you're looking for a decent business hotel that's affordable and not too far from the station, this is a good choice.

Great value for money, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, taking a bus is actually quite convenient. Also, the South Asian convenience store clerk at the nearby Lawson has a really poor attitude; I've seen a lot of bad reviews for them on Google Maps. The room was quite spacious, not like the typical Toyoko Inn size, and the amenities were good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom.

Everything was great, except for the room being a bit small. Having stayed in many Japanese hotels, I'm used to that. The location is super convenient, just a five-minute walk from Hakata Station. Even though it's right by the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and tidy, small but well-equipped with everything you need. It was a thoughtful touch that the front desk provided toiletries, coffee, and tea bags for guests to take freely.

The bathroom had a noticeable drain odor, and the sink drained slowly. The cleanliness wasn't great; it felt quite dusty. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Hakata Station, and there's a convenience store nearby downstairs.

The room was very spacious, and we were extremely happy with it. It came equipped with a washing machine and a microwave, and the fridge was also a good size. The sofa was very comfortable, making it perfect for two people. My only minor suggestion would be for a slightly larger bed.

An excellent stay! Wellcabin Tenjin is perfectly located—walking distance to Canal City and Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station, and an easy subway ride from the airport. I chose a private cabin for extra space and found it very comfortable; the mattress was great and the room was spotless. The facilities are top-notch: clean bathrooms with great water pressure and a cozy common area on Level 3 with a microwave/hot water. The staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for comfort on a budget. I’ll definitely be back!

I chose this hotel because I need the shuttle service to airport and this hotel has provided free shuttle service between hotel and airport, but do note that it will require advance booking, so it’s better you book it upon arrival or prior. The staffs do not speak very well English, but I can see they are trying to help, I do wish they can speak better English to assist the tourists well. Room is not the most spacious but good enough for solo traveler with this price. The hotel is near to Sanno-1-chome bus station, which is very accessible to Lalaport (15min bus) and Hakata station (15 min bus). And within 8 min walking distance, there is a Don Don Donki, where you can shop. Nearby the hotel, it has 7-11 (3min walking distance), and a Ippudo ramen restaurant (1 min walking distance). Overall I am satisfied with the location, shuttle service, the room comfort. If you were to catch early flight, do consider here as your hotel of choice.
