"On the first day, I was a bit dissatisfied because the room I was given looked very different from the photos of the room type I booked. They told me it was the only one left and it was downstairs. However, on the second day, they managed to move me to a room that matched the photos I saw when I made the reservation. Overall, it was pretty good. The location is great, with convenient transportation, and it's quiet at night. Plus, it's only about a 4-5 minute walk to the snack street with lots of night markets."

"It was exactly as pictured, including its small size. The location is fantastic. You can walk to Gwanghwamun Square in just a short distance. During my stay, I went to Gwanghwamun Square many times while resting in my room. It's clean, probably because it's new. The staff were also very helpful. I especially recommend it for those on a short trip."

"The location was fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. The room was surprisingly spacious and clean. My room, unlike what some other reviews mentioned, had absolutely no sewage smell; both the room and bathroom smelled pleasant. However, the bathroom was indeed small, but I got used to it quickly, and it wasn't a big issue. There was no bottled water in the fridge, but there was a water dispenser in the common area, offering not just water but also tea, coffee, and even instant noodles. By the way, towels and trash disposal were self-service. It might be a bit cramped for two people, but for a solo traveler, it's perfectly spacious. You can even open up your suitcase. Plus, there was not only a fridge but also a freezer. I think it's plenty spacious for a solo trip. However, the walls are thin, so you might hear noise from the next room. Also, there's a karaoke bar downstairs, so if you're sensitive to noise, weekends might be a bit bothersome. I personally wasn't too bothered and slept well. I'd love to stay here again. One small suggestion: it would be great if they could provide more keys for luggage storage."

"The location is excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of popular attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Ssamziegil, and Cheonggyecheon Stream. There are also plenty of cafés nearby. The hotel offers an onsen, complimentary ice cream, drinks, and late-night soba noodles. The staff are friendly and welcoming."

"We stayed at Hertz Hotel by onyu stay for 3 nights. Overall, the hotel has both strong advantages and some important details to keep in mind. The main advantage is the location. It is excellent: the hotel is right in the central area, close to many historical sights. For our trip, it was very convenient because we could walk to many places in about 15 minutes. If your goal is to explore the historic part of Seoul on foot, the location is really good. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The staff also agreed to keep our luggage at the reception on the day of check-out, which was very helpful. However, the room felt quite small, especially when we opened our suitcase. The room was also rather dark. There was a window, but it felt more like a formality: it was narrow, about the width of a balcony door, and not very useful for natural light. Another important point is the bathroom layout. The bathroom area is separated only by a curtain, with no proper door, and the toilet area also has no real door. This may be uncomfortable if you need more privacy. On the positive side, there was a bathtub, which was nice. The cleaning system was a bit unusual: to have the room cleaned, you need to write down your room number. It is not difficult, but guests should know about it in advance. Overall, this hotel is a good option if location is your top priority and you plan to spend most of your time walking around the city. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff helped us with luggage storage. But the room is quite compact and dark, and the bathroom privacy may not be suitable for everyone."

"A charming place to stay, with incredibly polite and friendly staff. The room was quite clean and was cleaned every day while I was out. What I especially loved was that the bedding didn’t have that strong disinfectant smell that you often find in other places. It made it much easier for me to sleep and feel comfortable, almost like being at home rather than in an unfamiliar place. The location was also extremely convenient. I came to Korea to attend T1 Homeground at KSPO Dome, and the hotel is just a short walk from Line 5, which takes you directly to KSPO Dome. It couldn’t have been more convenient!"

"The room was very clean and new. The location was excellent, close to many attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream, both within walking distance. It's also very close to the airport bus stop, making travel to and from the airport super easy, without having to lug luggage too far. The housekeeper was very kind; she always smiled when we saw her. Since we arrived early, she promptly cleaned our room for us to check in. There's a communal kitchen with hot and cold water, coffee, snacks, and banana milk available at all times. They even provide a washing machine with detergent, which was incredibly convenient. The bathroom was well-equipped with a heater, hairdryer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath towels, and hand towels. ❤️ Overall, I was very impressed! I'll definitely choose to book here again for my future trips to Seoul."

"We booked a triple room. Location is excellent with the Metro station exit 4 with lift right outside the hotel. Airport Limousine stop is right outside the main entrance of the hotel. There is a luggage weighing scale and money exchange machine at the lobby. We wish breakfast has a better spread but not a big problem because Starbucks is 1min walk. Eggdrop and Issac toast are less than 10min walk. Highly recommend this hotel and I will book this hotel in future."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! 👍 The only downside is that the room is a bit small. The front desk staff speak English, and the cleanliness is decent; I always bring my own disposables anyway. Myeongdong is right downstairs, with large Olive Young beauty stores and CU convenience stores. Shopping and dining are incredibly convenient. If you turn left out of the hotel, Myeongdong Station Exit 5 is a 1-minute walk. If you turn right, Lotte Duty-Free and Shinsegae Duty-Free, along with department stores, are less than a 10-minute walk away. The subway and taxis are also super convenient nearby. The 6015 airport limousine bus goes directly to the hotel! 👍👍👍"

"👍 = convenient location, surrounded with a lots of local goods and near to bus stop&metro stations. Walking distance (15mins) to myeongdong streets. Full sets of L'occitant for use. 👎 = central control air conditioning, the control panel in the room won't adjust based on your desired temperature. Mostly temps will be at 23 ~ 25 degrees celcius, one night it went up to 26 🔥 we had difficulty to sleep at first.. Only plastic cups prepared, which were not sustainable and not standard, we bought a set of cups by ourselves for hot drinks."
