"Although the hotel is located in Cheongdam-dong, the surrounding commercial area isn't very developed. There's only a GS25 nearby for food and drinks. The transportation is fairly convenient, with a bus stop a few hundred meters to the right when you exit, which can take you to most places. However, the subway is quite far, requiring another bus ride. It's indeed an older hotel, and the room maintenance is pretty subpar. The double room we booked was extremely cramped; with two suitcases open, there was barely any room to walk. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, and there was mold on the ceiling and bathmat. The air conditioner vent was built into a fake bay window under the actual window. On our first night, we couldn't find the light switch and accidentally opened the bay window cabinet, which was full of dust. The service was also very average. On our second night, we couldn't get into our room with the key card and had to go down to the front desk, and they offered no explanation. Early check-in requires an extra fee, and on the morning of check-out, the concierge said that next time, one person can only store one item (we stored one suitcase and one backpack) đ đ No worries, there won't be a next time."
"The guy at the front desk who checked me in was really nice. When I was checking out, I ran into a cleaning lady in the elevator, and she was so kind, she even helped me carry my luggage. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel in Korea that allowed a 12 PM checkout, I'm practically in tears of joy! T_T I stayed in a single room, and the space was more than enough for one person. The TV could play regular channels, and also had YouTube and Netflix. Disposable slippers were provided. Overall, I'm very satisfied."
"Convenient to travel from the airportâBus 6009 stops nearby. The hotel is located right by the Orange Line subway. The staff provide good service and offer luggage storage. However, the downside is that the bed is very hard and not comfortable to sleep on. Overall, itâs a good stay."
"This hotel was a truly delightful surprise! Located in such a prime Gangnam spot, this designer hotel immediately impressed with its fresh and modern ambiance upon entry. The concierge was kind and friendly, and even spoke Chinese, which made getting around incredibly easy. The room was clean and tidy, offering exceptional value for money. You're surrounded by great shopping districts like Apgujeong, Sinsa-dong, and Cheongdam-dong, and it's just a short walk to Olive Young. There are also plenty of aesthetic clinics and great food options nearby. Despite all this, the streets are surprisingly quiet at night with very little traffic or footfall. All in all, it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I visit Korea."
"3min to Exit 3 of Seolleung station, and airport bus 6703 is a 5min stroll away (at L7 hotel). Love the connectivity to the subway, and the neighbourhood has a lot of food options to offer. Emart hypermarket is an only 2 bus stops away. Toilet sometimes has a musty smell, and some of the shower towels look overused. But i appreciate the good housekeeping. Gym is small but well stocked. Only issue - I asked for a late check out of 30min and was rejected initially, i think there can be some flexibility there (i donât think my request was unreasonable)."
"Tiny little hotel room but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel pyjamas were an unexpected amenity and cute. Breakfast at the rooftop bar was especially tasty, with a supply of blankets, and beautiful views that made it one of our highlights. The lobby scales to weigh our luggage also helped alot with packing for our flights. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and looked after our bags while we explored after checkout."
"This was my third stay here, so I'm quite familiar with the place. It's easily accessible by airport bus or subway, and offers great value for money. Even during the May Day holiday, the prices weren't high. It's super convenient for getting to Gangnam or Seongsu. Compared to Myeongdong or Hongdae, the streets around here are quieter and wider. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time."
"I was very impressed with my stay! Even though I didn't meet the staff directly because it's a check-in system via camera and microphone, communication was smooth and they were very helpful. We arrived before check-in time, and the accommodation allowed us to shower first and store our luggage, which was very convenient for early arrivals.
The room was clean, with complete facilities, and a good location with easy transportation. Overall, I felt it was good value for money.
It's a shame I didn't get to try the breakfast. If I have a chance to come back to Korea, I would definitely be happy to stay here again đ"
"The hotel was about a 10-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station (the back streets are flatter than the main road, so I recommend that route!). It was clean and quiet, so I'd love to stay again. The front desk staff were also very kind and even upgraded my room and allowed for early check-in, as it happened to be available at the time! (This isn't guaranteed, it's all about timing). It was also very helpful that they held my luggage before check-in and after check-out. Thank you!"
"This is the best capsule hotel I've stayed at in Korea so far. It's right in the heart of Gangnam, just a five-minute walk to both bus stops and subway stations. Next door is a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Joseon Royal Tombs, with a perfect running path circling the tombs. The hotel design is modern and zen, the common areas are comfortable and relaxing, and the room size is just right. I booked a VIP room which had a desk and space for large luggage. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist. The magazine selection in the public area showed great taste, and it's only a ten-minute walk to COEX."

Great
AAichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space â only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient â a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!
GGuest UserThe room was a bit small and the price was a bit high. Service was okay. The hotel has Wi-Fi. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. The hotel isn't old and there weren't any strange smells. It's still a decent place to stay. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of Hongdae, with plenty of great places to shop and eat nearby.
GGuest UserPleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).
MMonkumaIt was very nice hotel. Room was big enough for 4 people and 2 beds were also
big enough to sleep. ( 2 queen )There were big fridge, freezer, washing machines and dryer. ( no soap)
Amenities were only shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
The hotel is located between Myeongdong exit 10 and Chungmuro.
The hotel has wow pass machine and convenience store.
Staffs were nice and room was clean. ( I just see some dust left on the corner of room but it is not big issue )
Over all we loved to stay here and if we have chance, we would like to stay again.
EEddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds youâd find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If youâre carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator â just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.

My stay at this hotel was decent overall, with a mix of good points and a few areas that could definitely be improved. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short visit, and I appreciated that the basic amenities were in place. The bed was fine, the bathroom was tidy, and the housekeeping staff did a good job keeping everything in order during my stay.
The staff were polite and helpful whenever I needed assistance, and check-in and check-out were both handled smoothly. The hotel is also in a convenient location, which made it easy to get to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. That was one of the biggest advantages of staying here.
At the same time, there were a few things that kept the experience from being better. Some parts of the hotel felt a little dated, and there was occasional noise that made it harder to relax at times. The Wi-Fi was not always reliable, and a few small details in the room could use attention. While nothing was terrible, the overall experience felt average rather than exceptional.
This hotel is fine if you are looking for a simple and convenient place to stay, but it may not be the best choice if you are expecting a more polished or comfortable experience. I would consider staying here again for a short trip, but I would also hope to see some improvements in the future.
AANNASHEThis hotel is located above the OLIVION building, with the subway exit and Myeongdong's main entrance right outside, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The elevator can occasionally have a short wait, but the overall location advantage is unbeatable. The room space isn't overly generous, but it's actually slightly larger than the Ibis next door. The main difference is that the Ibis front desk is on the ground floor, while this hotel's front desk is on the 17th floor, making direct access a bit less convenient. Considering the location and price, it offers great value for money, and the overall stay experience was very good. A very convenient hotel.
GGuest UserThe room had bunk beds, and the location was really convenient. It was only a 3-minute walk to the subway station, with a pharmacy and convenience store nearby. It's also very close to that popular spicy chicken feet place. My bed was near the restroom, so there was a slight musty smell, but overall it was quite clean. The first floor is a common area where you can do some simple cooking (like instant noodles and toast) and boil hot water. Check-in is at 3 PM daily. This is my second time staying here, and I'm still quite satisfied.
AAnonymous UserIt's not really excellent but You get what you payed for.
Aside from they only provide small size face towels.
My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains.
Check in is strict 3pm
Check out is 11am
No elevator
No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave.
Near subway station line9 naebang.
