Guest UserFood at the restaurant is affordable and great.
the breakfast buffet included is good enough also.
Room was superb, spacious and clean. I love the wooden floors in our room and actually preferred to be barefoot just to feel it.
so many amenities, there is bowling lanes, billiards, table tennis, karaoke room, gym. I knew beforehand that there is a bowling lanes, so I brought my own equipment and used this amenity extensively :D
Parking access is a bit steep but manageable, but they have shuttle service also to transfer in other buildings in the property.

Location is a bit secluded from the city center. Staffs are accomodating though not going beyond and just provided whatever requested for instance we requested to retrieve the cake and they didnt offer utensils or think about whenever we would consume it for my partner's birthday,
The room lacks refrigerator which might be a necessity. There's only one swimming pool.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the linens smelled fresh, and the amenities were complete. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it perfect for resting. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. From check‑in to check‑out, the service was smooth. The food options were good, and the quality was satisfying. The breakfast selection had a nice variety, and everything tasted fresh. The pool and common areas were clean and well-kept. A great staycation spot for relaxation and comfort. I would definitely consider returning in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway.

Outdated rooms plus cockroaches as bedfellows, anyone who goes will regret it. They wouldn't even provide an extra mattress for my child to sleep on the floor to prevent falls; they wanted to charge 2000p per night for it. Even contacting app customer service didn't help... truly terrible.

Albert2026Let's start with the location: it's a bit isolated, but it has a large, spacious, beautiful lobby, meticulously maintained. At the front desk, you'll find very kind staff who will help you with any small problem or request. Initially, I only planned to stay one night, but given the enchanting surroundings and numerous attractions like Sky Ranch and boat trips, I extended my stay to three nights. The price for a single room, as I was traveling alone, is around €20, with some fluctuations, which should be about 1500 Philippine Pesos. The reason for this price is that the room has basic furnishings; for example, there's no shower curtain and the sink is really tiny. There's a restaurant in the residential complex, and you can have breakfast at a cafe opposite the entrance. I had a small issue with the electricity when I first arrived, and after calling the front desk, they immediately sent a technician who fixed it in under 15 minutes. They provide toothbrushes, soap, and slippers. Here's a tip: download the Food Panda app for food and Joyride for transportation, and as long as it's not the weekend, you shouldn't have any trouble ordering. The pool is a bit small, located on the west wing of the reception area. With a few small improvements, especially in the bar area and by blowing away some leaves with a leaf blower, this could be a premium hotel. Lastly, they have parking available if you want to rent a car or motorcycle.

Byahe ni KramiThe place is far more beautiful than how it is described online. A good view of Taal is what makes it magnificent for visitors and couples who want to escape the noise of Metro. Excellent quality service for a decent price. Complete amenities and the room is very spacious. It has its own TV, refrigerator for storing food and a large mirror. The toilet is also separated from the shower. Free breakfast is also great. The hotel has its own parking lot for guests. Overall, the place is great. Will probably get back here. Will also recommend to friends.

The room, amenities, hotel ambiance, and service at Via Appia Hotel are great. The staff are friendly, and the place is very comfortable.
The only issue I experienced was with the bathroom heater and hot water. The heater initially wasn’t working, so I called for it to be fixed. The technician came. Tried to fix it and said it was working now. However, when it was time to shower before checkout, the hot water in the bathroom only lasted for a few seconds before turning cold again. I had to turn the water off and on repeatedly to get hot water for short periods. This can be quite inconvenient, especially since the hotel is in Tagaytay, where the weather is very cold.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but improving the hot water system would make the experience much better.

I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration.
We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable.
The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning.
One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together.
Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable.
Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway!
Thank you, Villa Ibarra, for an amazing experience!

The hotel has informed me when I checked in, that the photos of the room I booked which I saw from trip.com’s site, was not the same as what they will give me. And since we were tired from the long travel, I just agreed as long as the number of beds that I’ve booked were the same and the room was senior-friendly. The room was, in general, clean and spacious. However, the phone and the TV were not working. I informed the reception about it and was told it would be fixed after 3 days. The toilet was a disappointment as it looked dilapidated and mouldy. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place looked nice, however, I think there would be a better place to go that is the same as the price I paid.
