Hotels near Fishermen's Square, Albufeira

Hotel in the center of the old city on the street of bars and restaurants, the room is spacious and clean with a mini-balcony, equipped with everything you need (although no, it seems there was no mini-bar). Everything was as described on the website. Even a warning about noisy nights! Loud music from the bar until 00.00, so as not to annoy, it is better to go out and plunge into the atmosphere of fun! And residual noise from bars until 4.00 am. Breakfast in the city starts late from 9.00 and later. Breakfast at the hotel is recommended, they are worth it!

La struttura è datata e necessita di una ristrutturazione, soprattutto le camere e la piscina. In camera non c'è il phon, ma è possibile chiederlo alla reception. Le camere vanno rinnovate, sono veramente spoglie, basterebbe un po' di colore alle pareti e mettere qualche quadro colorato. Runner e cuscini in velluto sono ormai superati e inutili, finiti immediatamente dentro l armadio. In bagno, la carta igienica è talmente soffice, che si sgretola in mano, soprattutto quando in bagno si crea vapore quando si apre l acqua calda. Ci sono 2 terrazze solarium, dove ci sono solo dei lettini. Le terrazze mi hanno dato l impressione di essere abbandonate, se ci fossero degli ombrelloni e dei tavolini e qualcuno venisse ogni tanto a portare dei teli e a chiedere se si ha bisogno di qualcosa, sarebbe sicuramente una cosa diversa. Anche in piscina mancano gli ombrelloni. Inoltre, noi avevamo la camera sullo stesso piano della piscina, purtroppo dovevamo tenere sempre la tenda chiusa, altrimenti gli altri ospiti potevano guardarci dentro la camera, ed era necessario accendere la luce anche in pieno giorno, altrimenti non si vedeva nulla. Suggerisco di mettere, oltre alla tenda oscurante, anche una tendina leggera, che blocchi gli sguardi indiscreti ma faccia passare la luce. Sarebbe il caso anche di ristrutturare camere, bagno e corridoi. È un peccato, perché la zona della reception, con le pareti verde chiaro e il divanetto tondo è molto carina. La zona colazione è ok, ma purtroppo non c è varietà. Oltre al prosciutto cotto, si potrebbero usare, a rotazione, magari, anche altri salumi. Inserire anche uova sode o all'occhio, latte e yogurt senza lattosio, qualche formaggio, cambiate gusti delle marmellate, mettere cioccolata spalmabile, waffles al posto dei pancake, ecc... C è un bar, ma non viene utilizzato da nessuno, peccato. Il personale è sempre stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. Ricordo il sorriso di Carolina che ci ha fatto il check in e con una mappa alla mano ci ha spiegato tutto, un collega uomo, anche lui molto sorridente, che in serata mi ha gentilmente fornito il phon, e la signora con il quale abbiamo fatto il check out. Anche le signore della colazioni molto disponibili, e una volta ci hanno fatto entrare anche se siamo arrivati tardi. Do comunque un voto alto, per non penalizzare nessuno, ma fiduciosa che il feedback serva a migliorare.

One of the worst IHG Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in globally considering the price for this accomodation. The breakfast is poor and some food was missing. They don't even propose fresh orange juice (in Holiday Inn, in Portugal!). The gym is not working at the moment and they offer you to get to another hotel for it. There were construction works with the noise. Some staff could get better client service training. At least, rooms are up to IHG standards. And they have a shuttle bus to the city and the beach.

This place has polarizing reviews.. After going there, I understand why. The facilities and services are good. You can use the swimming pool, washer and dryer (performance is poor), sauna and spa for free, and although the building structure is unique (1st and 8th floor reception, 2 elevator transfers, etc.), it's okay if you get used to it. We couldn't find the way by taxi, so we climbed the hill with our suitcases, but the reception on the first floor is near the spar mart. They were friendly, but the air conditioner was broken so I called twice and they didn't come so I just gave up. This place is in the middle of the old town, so I actually made a reservation based on the location, but it's literally in the middle of the club street, so even if you're inside the accommodation, you'll be staying at the concert hall all night long. There's no soundproofing, so you have to enjoy it together until 5 a.m. The noise is another level, as foreign reviews say. I’m traveling around the world, but this place is really ambiguous haha. The breakfast isn’t bad, but it’s just ambiguous… . Personally, I think it would be less noisy and better if it wasn't just in this alley because it's Albupay!!

Basic accommodation. Staff were pretty helpful, Terrance was very inactive the night I was there though has potential.

The hotel has perfect location for the Albufeira just on old town the beach just behind the hotel ,15mins walk to the to city center where the big supermarket cafes shopping center the room so brigth and big enough plus kettle tea and coffee,water ,the only down side is there is bars with very loud music is bite problem,I high recommend .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect stay at Clube Albufeira! The setting is magnificent, very well-maintained, with clean and quiet pools, ideal for relaxing. The staff is warm, always available and welcoming. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean upon our arrival. Special mention should be made for the family atmosphere and the tranquility of the place, while being close to the center of Albufeira and the beaches. Thank you for this wonderful break—we will definitely be back!

We are glad that we booked this hotel. The beach view was breathtaking and remarkable. Not to mention its excellent location where the old town cobbled street is just right in front of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast where they offered great selections and indeed one of the best breakfasts we've tried in our Portugal trip. Hotel staff were mostly friendly, especially those in the restaurant, except for the housekeeping staff who refused to give us extra drinking water on the next morning even before we checked out.

A fabulous hotel which lived up to expectations. The room was lovely with a huge bed, free safe, bottle of water on arrival and pool towels. My room was on the road side but it didn't bother me and I requested a high floor which was fulfilled. It got the afternoon sun and was a sun trap. Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection of hot and cold foods, plenty of different breads and cakes The location is great, close to loads of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and a few minutes from bus stops if you want to pop into Albufeira old town. I would definitely return to the hotel without hesitation.
