"Location is good, quite neighborhood, halal ( Muslim) food available, laundry service near by, mosque (muslim prayer center) near by. Rooms are clean decent size but they need to add some amenities , side table with reading lamp, no chair, no water cattle, no hand towel, instead of giving paper water cup, glass for drinking water would be great. In room tea coffee would be great as the town is almost dead by 7pm.
Please also add some kind egg (boiled is easy) with breakfast."
"This is a very nicely managed and wonderful hotel. It is very clean. The location is very good as it is just opposite a big mall and a night market where you can find great local food and snacks."
"I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. The location is convenient, and the services were excellent. Overall, it’s a very good hotel with great service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others"
"The room was quite spacious, but some of the lights weren't working. As we were only staying for one night, we didn't make a big deal out of it. While the outdoor view was lovely, there were quite a few mosquitoes. Breakfast was served à la carte, which we found a bit unusual. However, it was still satisfying, and I highly recommend the Thai breakfast option."
"Like:
1. Very good first impression during check-in – staff are very cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic – a fantastic welcome to my stay!
2. Clean, spacious and most importantly, no insects or foul smell in the room. Good quality mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels - all new and are so comfortable! Housekeeper's response was prompt and everything worked well.
3. Within walking distance to: nearest 7-11 shop (about 7 minutes), Saturday night market (about 10 minutes), Clock tower (about 15 minutes)
4. Spotless and cosy restaurant. Breakfast spread is small but well-prepared with slight variation in the hot dishes daily (kudos to the chef!). Coffee is good!
Dislike:
1. Space in toilet is very tight in the superior room – suitable only for someone with small body frame
2. Pool does not seem to be cleaned daily as I saw dirt and dead insects floating in the water for 2 days’ straight (the bright lights around the pool attract a lot of flying insects on certain nights). Pool water is only waist-deep
3. The hotel is situated within an older residential area and the alleys are dead quiet after dark. My room on the 4th floor has views of roof tops of the surrounding nondescript buildings. Rooms on the opposite side probably have better views.
4. TV is not a smart TV. Mainly Thai programmes so nothing to watch if you do not understand Thai"
"The accommodation was great, with a convenience store right in front. It was very clean, but there were no toothbrushes, which you can bring yourself.
The hotel is also conveniently located right on the main road.
Plus, it's very easy to travel to other places."
"Loved my stay here. Very accessible to get to from the airport and to get around to the tourist spots. Convenience stores are conveniently located nearby, and there are plenty of food options available as well. Staff are very friendly and warm, and always made me feel welcome. The breakfast was good as well!
Only downside is that there is no gym!"
"The accommodation offers good service and a good price. There's a buffet breakfast, perfect for those with a larger appetite, and the breakfast items are delicious, with both savory and sweet options, plus fruit. The room is clean and the air conditioning is cool."
"The rooms are clean, the service is good, and breakfast is included. The price is reasonable, it's easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is absolutely beautiful and the facilities are very well-maintained. The staff are all incredibly friendly; they always smile and greet you whenever you see them, and they go out of their way to help resolve any issues or problems you might have. Truly excellent!
GGuest UserThis is a good hostel with a great location right by the bus station. You don't even need a taxi if you have luggage, as it's just around the corner.
We had a private room without windows, but it had air conditioning and ventilation. The shared showers were clean, though it felt like we were the only guests in the hostel despite its considerable size. In the morning, they offer a modest breakfast of toast, an egg, and jam, and you can also make coffee from the machine. The receptionists were friendly, although they made us wait an hour to check in, even though the hostel was completely empty.
GGuest UserThe location was perfect, centrally located with lots of food options around the area. Service is nothing short of excellent. Our room was super clean with a view of the street in front of the hotel and a small temple which was beautifully lit in the evening.
Some areas of improvement but not necessarily negative: consider widening the partition between the shower and toilet areas as the water does splash quite a bit when you shower, place the bathroom tissue holder a little higher for easier reach, and lastly place a chair in the room with a higher height. The one we got was too low for the desk.
Other than those, our stay was perfect.
GGuest UserPros: Close to a community area, with restaurants, convenience stores, a market, and a beer garden all within walking distance. Easy to find, located on the main road.
Cons: The bed is extremely hard, even when I lay down on it, my knees hurt. Sleeping is painful. There are very few power outlets, only two of them are two-holes (not three-holes). There are cobwebs and spiders near the sink. The headboard has blackout curtains, no blackout curtains. It's bright at 6 a.m. The air conditioner compressor is loud and vibrates, requiring earplugs to sleep. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. I saw a bag of sticky rice and grilled pork. I asked to take it, but the staff refused, saying I had to eat at the hotel. In short, I didn't get breakfast at the hotel because I had to leave in a hurry.
AAdrianHTKDThis is a good-sized hotel in the centre of Chiang Rai, and it seems to be popular with coach tour groups. It’s conveniently located around 10 minutes from the airport (Bolt works well) and just a 2-minute walk from Bus Terminal 1. There’s also a large on-site car park.
Check-in staff are friendly and efficient, and there are two separate lift banks serving the guest rooms. There aren’t any notable views, but the rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. Beds are good, there’s a proper desk, and the usual amenities are provided: fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, two bottles of water, a safe, etc. The bathroom feels slightly cramped as the bath/shower is enclosed behind a solid glass screen, which may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. The rooms and upper corridors do feel a little dated, but given the location in northern Thailand, this can also be seen as part of the hotel’s Thai charm.
The main restaurant is located next to reception and offers a breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options to suit many nationalities. There’s also a bar in the lobby area, with live music in the evenings, and a karaoke club and bar in the basement.
At the rear of the hotel there’s a large swimming pool. The downside is that it remains in the shade all day, so the water is quite cold and even the sun loungers don’t get any direct sunshine.
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. Everything in downtown Chiang Rai is easily walkable: the Night Bazaar is just 2 minutes away, along with the Golden Clock Tower, numerous massage shops, beer bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and even a cat café where you can enjoy a coffee while stroking the cats. If you’re feeling particularly hungry, Ribs & Co is well worth a visit. The hotel also makes a great base for exploring northern Thailand — tours like the “7 in one day” trip are easy to arrange. Central Plaza shopping mall is only about 5 minutes away by taxi.
Overall, a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring Chiang Rai and the surrounding region. Enjoy 👍🏼
GGuest User🇬🇧I absolutely adored my stay at this charming family-run hotel! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist me . The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience.
GGuest UserWhat a great find in Chiang Rai. We normally stay at the golden pine resort and that offers great value but I wanted to try something else.
Other similar properties were and still are a bit over priced and i seek out the best overall value accommodation. Not the cheapest though. We usually stay one to foUr weeks so it needs to be right.
The hotel is at the third bridge up the kok river with easy access by road. The river front location is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery. I spent some time by myself just relaxing and the food service provided by the restaurant is good value as well.
We had a two bedroom suite with every living area, two bathrooms and another serviette toilet as well. The included breakfast is more Thai style but adequate with a fair amount of choice.
Overall I would give it a good solid 4-4.5/5.
DDon林Like a little sparrow, the amenities are equipped. If one is doable with common bathrooms/toilets, this is excellent. The flooring is well varnished with good grade epoxy and feel good on the soles. Boom the inn-keeper is meticulous in cleanliness and helpful with guests' request. I recommend travellers that are not too picky.
GGuest UserIt’s a good hotel for the money 💰 shower was excellent a pretty comfy bed, however the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve seen in Asia, the hotel seems to cater for the Asian market with the breakfast even though there are lots of westerners staying there, if you want eggs you have to pay for them and the rest of the stuff on offer was crap! , the coffee was grim! give it a miss 🤣🤣
