"Location is good, quite neighborhood, halal ( Muslim) food available, laundry service near by, mosque (muslim prayer center) near by. Rooms are clean decent size but they need to add some amenities , side table with reading lamp, no chair, no water cattle, no hand towel, instead of giving paper water cup, glass for drinking water would be great. In room tea coffee would be great as the town is almost dead by 7pm.
Please also add some kind egg (boiled is easy) with breakfast."
"The resort is well maintained and conveniently located in Chiang Rai City about fifteen minutes away from the airport. Unlike other staff at the resort, lady at the check-in was not very supportive or helpful. No assistance was provided in shifting the luggage to our assigned room. The pool view rooms are fairly big and have all basic amenities. The housekeeping staff deserve special mention for their exceptional service. There weren’t many options available for breakfast but it’s justifiable considering the room price. The in-room brochures mention lunch is available to order for a fee, yet the front desk informed us this service wasn’t actually offered. The pool was clean and the overall atmosphere was peaceful."
"Overall, it's a pretty good place, much like a traditional Chinese 3-4 star hotel – decent and standard. The location is quite convenient, right by the Bell Tower and not far from the night market."
"I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. The location is convenient, and the services were excellent. Overall, it’s a very good hotel with great service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others"
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed the overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it a perfect place to rest after a long day.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their excellent customer service made me feel valued and comfortable throughout my visit. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which I really appreciated.
The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It made it easy to explore the area while staying somewhere safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay."
"Good service, soft pillows, cool air conditioning, large room, lots of parking. Asked to change rooms, the staff took very good care of us. The shower water didn't flow strongly, that's all. Other than that, everything was good. Will visit again."
"This hotel is excellent and offers great value for a star-rated hotel. I was very satisfied with the environment, cleanliness, facilities, service, and location. It's very close to the bus station and the night market, and the breakfast is abundant. When visiting Chiang Rai, you really can't go wrong with this place. Nearby, there's a small restaurant with a pool table and two small tables pushed together; at first, I wasn't sure if it was even a restaurant. But when the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised – it was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. Although I had to wait a bit, it was definitely worth it, and it was cheap too – three meals and two drinks for around 60 baht. You can also rent a car to visit the White Temple, Black Temple, Blue Temple, and the Long Neck Tribe all in one day."
"A good hotel, very pleasant. The room was clean, bright, and not cramped. Breakfasts are modest but very tasty, and the dishes change daily. The reception staff are friendly and quickly resolve any issues. A good hotel."
"Fairly good place at a very good price.
The pool seemed clean and we used it a few times.
There is no elevator in the hotel but you can ask for your luggage to be carried to the room.
The staff at the front desk generally spoke fairly good English.
The location is hard to judge as the city itself is very pedestrian-hostile. There is no public transport, pedestrian crossings or lights, and sidewalks are also not very ubiquitous. Given all that, you will probably take some form of private transport or taxi anyway making the location somewhat irrelevant.
The AC was directly above both beds and it had to blow on at least one of them. There absolutely were better places to put it. It was the low point of the room.
All in all - would book again"

Amazing
GGuest UserThis hotel is overall fantastic, especially for families with kids. It has both an indoor play area and an outdoor water park, plus the breakfast is extensive with options specifically for children. Both the Thai restaurant inside the hotel and the Western restaurant on the top floor are excellent. It's definitely worth staying here.
陳陳元奎A truly perfect solo trip experience! The hotel is right by the river, with a beautiful and serene environment throughout the grounds, and the lush green scenery is incredibly refreshing. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were impeccably maintained. The staff were also exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Whether you want to relax at the hotel or explore Chiang Rai, this is an excellent choice. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!
GGuest UserThis is a good hostel with a great location right by the bus station. You don't even need a taxi if you have luggage, as it's just around the corner.
We had a private room without windows, but it had air conditioning and ventilation. The shared showers were clean, though it felt like we were the only guests in the hostel despite its considerable size. In the morning, they offer a modest breakfast of toast, an egg, and jam, and you can also make coffee from the machine. The receptionists were friendly, although they made us wait an hour to check in, even though the hostel was completely empty.
GGuest UserPros: Close to a community area, with restaurants, convenience stores, a market, and a beer garden all within walking distance. Easy to find, located on the main road.
Cons: The bed is extremely hard, even when I lay down on it, my knees hurt. Sleeping is painful. There are very few power outlets, only two of them are two-holes (not three-holes). There are cobwebs and spiders near the sink. The headboard has blackout curtains, no blackout curtains. It's bright at 6 a.m. The air conditioner compressor is loud and vibrates, requiring earplugs to sleep. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. I saw a bag of sticky rice and grilled pork. I asked to take it, but the staff refused, saying I had to eat at the hotel. In short, I didn't get breakfast at the hotel because I had to leave in a hurry.
GGuest User🇬🇧I absolutely adored my stay at this charming family-run hotel! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist me . The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel grounds are quite large, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfasts are delicious. The only downside was that the mattresses were very firm, which made sleeping difficult. Also, the air conditioners were installed directly above the beds, which was inconvenient.
GGuest UserI have been there for a couple of days.
Central location, clean, a huge fridge downstairs, a small kitchen for basic things (no gas for the cooker) and some fruits and coffee were available.
The only problem was noise, as a few guest were impolite, but other than that, I have been happy with my stay.
GGuest UserThe swimming pool is relaxing. The gym is awesome with many equipments. I stayed in the standard room, which is old and not so enjoyable for me. The breakfast is very simple, offering dishes of local flavor. Worth noting that there’s no lid to cover the dishes; as a result, I saw a fly stop on the rice. This made me uncomfortable. Hotel free WiFi is super weak and not easy to get connected.
GGuest UserI arrived from Chiang Mai tired and stressed. So it was nice to find the Ben Guesthouse offered a nice respite with good amenities. I appreciated the hot water pressure and cleanliness of my room. There are also some great restaurants and cafes close by.
