"We found Cow Hollow Inn and Suites about 20 years ago. It has become our favorite place to stay in the City. It is always very clean, the staff is always helpful, the parking is free and it is in one of the best locations in the City. Wonderful and fun restaurants and bars along Chestnut Street. Perfect for morning walks to the Palace of Fine Arts and the Marina Green. And, the adjacent restaurant, Home Plate is very good and convenient for breakfast. The recent remodel makes it even better!"

"Great location! It's a 5-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and a 3-minute walk to the car rental company. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and public transport nearby. Big thumbs up for the complimentary Western breakfast and the 24-hour self-service coffee and hot chocolate. Rooms were cleaned daily, but even after leaving a $4 tip, the towels weren't replaced."

"The hygiene and facilities were just okay. The dorm room wasn't well-ventilated and had a strange odor, and the mattress had stains. The only upside was the really good location, very close to Union Square. For this price in downtown San Francisco, you can't really ask for more. There's no dedicated parking, but there are street parking spots right outside, and it's also very close to the cable car route. Plus, the hostel itself organizes some activities if you're interested in joining."

"Overall, it was great 👍. It's just a few minutes' walk to Fisherman's Wharf, which is super convenient. The breakfast was a bit like English style, and it was pretty good too. My only minor complaint is that the shower pressure was a bit low."

"The hotel is beyond expectation. Parking fee is $65/d which is more expensive than the garage around. The front desk service is so so, while there is one lady who is quite kind and friendly, there’s another one who never smiles and makes me feel uncomfortable. The hotel also does not even offer free water (it has water point each floor tho). It also doesn’t provide slippers. I don’t feel it satisfies an 4-star hotel standard. Amenity fee is compulsory for $30/d. It’s sweet that hotel offers S’more and it has very nice location, but still, it’s far beyond satisfaction."

"Everything about this place was fantastic. The service, the cleanliness, the facilities, etc. The only thing that wasn't perfect was getting back to the hotel at night, because some of the surrounding streets seemed a bit dangerous, but that's not the hotel's fault."

"The hotel itself is highly recommended. It has a great location, very nice rooms and very friendly service. However, we also had some hiccups during our visit. We had booked the room for four people, but the room was only equipped with towels for three people. Not that much of an issue - we just asked every day for an additional towel. We booked an Alcatraz Bundle via the concierge, which all went well. However, the charge included a $15 consumption voucher per person at the hotel bar, which was a bit difficult to redeem. You had to try to get the exact amount, as it was not possible to receive a credit for any change left. It was also not possible to pay on top of the voucher. We were told that the voucher could be used like cash but it wasn't quite like that after all. So perhaps this is not necessarily recommended. We also booked bicycles with the concierge, which worked very well. However, my kids really liked the evening cookies and milk and the games room."

"The location was good and convenient, although there were a few homeless people nearby. The room was a little small, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our stay. The main issue was the air conditioning, which could definitely be improved. Overall, a decent place for the price."

"Facilities: The room was pretty standard, but the TV screen was huge, and the shower had good water pressure, not those weak, trickling kind. The mattress was extra thick and comfortable. Cleanliness: The room and bedding were clean and tidy. Environment: It's an 8-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf. After exploring, you can pop into Trade Joe's to grab drinks and food, then it's another 10-minute walk back to the hotel. There are several car rental companies right downstairs, making it super convenient to pick up a car and load your luggage directly at the hotel entrance. However, be aware that you might hear motorcycle gangs zooming by at night. Service: The staff were enthusiastic and patient, always ready to answer any questions I had."

"This is my second time staying here and it feels just like home, Chinatown is right around the corner and the Walgreens is right there, I’ll be staying here from now on Everytime I come into San Francisco, Love this place."
