"Services provided by Chinese immigrants who can speak English, Cantonese and mandarin fluently. Easy going, nice, gentle and polite. Guests are from world wide. They are all nice polite and communicable . Location is self-evidently very very excellent. Just behind the main gate of world famous SF Chinatown. Compared to the comparable location of hotels/motels in New York, this is definitely an underpriced one. easy to get access to public transport/food/tour spots."

"Room is very clean and bed very comfortable. Good room service everyday, unlimited complimentary water, coffee, tea, cookies all day long. Wifi available in room. Staff are courteous. Location is close to Union square and all transport. I will stay here again next time. The only flaw is the TV is not connected to power & no power cord provided, hence can't watch TV, hope this can fix."

"The Handlery Union Square Hotel boasts an excellent and convenient location, within a 10-minute walk of the MTR station, tram stops, and other public transport. We felt the genuine enthusiasm of both the front desk staff and the housekeeping team. Upon checking in, the hotel's architecture and facilities conveyed a sense of long history, and the overall environment was impeccably clean. The hotel thoughtfully provides complimentary luggage storage, which allowed us to leave our bags in their dedicated space after checking out on our last day, giving us a full day to explore worry-free before picking them up in the evening and taking BART to the airport."

"The hotel was fantastic, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The front desk service was absolutely outstanding. The courtyard is beautiful with a lovely little fountain, and there are great restaurants and bars nearby! I loved the lounge on the first floor! The price was fair and attractive! I definitely recommend it!"

"The staff at Hotel Beresford San Francisco were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I was really happy with the room I booked; it was exceptionally clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large supermarket, and there's a bus stop right outside. Across the street is a Ross department store, and the metro is just a 2-minute walk away. I'll definitely choose Hotel Beresford again next time I'm in San Francisco."

"Check in was easy. Room was comfortable. Great location around lots of restaurants and bars so it can get noisy. Water fountain at the end of hall and ice bags. Café attached to hotel for breakfast. Relaxing lounge to get away from the city noise."

"Facilities: Fully equipped. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: This was my first time seeing an elevator like this; I'd only ever seen them in movies before. Breakfast: I loved the yogurt and the apples; the apples were very fresh. The front desk staff was very helpful and even asked if I needed help calling a taxi. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time I'm in San Francisco 😊"

"Loved the location! There are bus stops not too far away, and parking depends on availability. The front desk service was excellent. Even though it was summer, I felt a bit cold, so the front desk gave me a space heater, and it made the room nice and toasty."

"A wonderful small renovated hotel at excellent pricing. Good location. Clean spotless room with large size and open light windows. Comfy bed and bathroom. The staff and manager are very friendly and helpful. I extended my stay to an extra day MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE BREAKFAST WAITRESS WHO WAS UNFRIENDLY AMD RUDE. I POLITELY ASKED 3 TIMES FOR A COFFEE REFILL AMD WALTED 10 MINITES WHILE SHE WAITED ON NRW ARRIVING TABLES. WHEN O ASKED AGAIN SHE RUDELY TOLD ME TO KEEP WAITING. WHEM I TOLD HER I WOULD MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT SHE SAID WITH DISGUST ”GO AHEAD!:. I LEFT IMMEDIAYELY WITJPUT MY REQUEST SO I WOULD NOT SAY SOMETHING INAPPROPRIATE. SHE CLEARLY HAYRS HER JOB AND SHOULD BE REPLACED.. THANKFULLY THE HOTEL MGR CAME TO ME, APOLOGIZED AND POILITELY DOSCISSED MY CONCERN. OTHER THAN THIS NASTY BREAKFAST EVERYONE ELSE WERE SUPER NICE"
