"There was only one review on Trip. I was afraid to book, thinking they might be down. I found reviews on Google Maps and Booking. I booked right away and didn't regret it. The room was very clean, absolutely spotless. It's rare to find a place that keeps things so clean. The price was reasonable, so I had to stay there right away."

Amazing
PPaulina KrasowskaThis was the best hotel we stayed at in Bali. The staff were wonderful, absolutely everything was top-notch! Our luxury tent with a small pool was perfectly situated and offered a beautiful garden view with 100% privacy! The breakfasts were delicious with the option to swap for lunch, and the products were of very good quality. Adi's service during breakfast was 11/10!
It truly couldn't get any better! I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a wonderful experience, not just a place to stay!
GGeneralChaosThis 5 star hotel is really excellent. It’s located up the mountain in central Bali looking out over the forests and jungle towards Ubud. It’s cooler as a result and providing it’s not too cloudy (hotel can be in the clouds at 1200m elevation), you can see for many miles. This really makes the infinity pools spectacular. Rooms are spacious, we had a villa with hot tub but also had a nice garden, and room is equipped with everything you might need including mosquito net over the bed.
As you would expect, the service and restaurants are first class offering a selection of Balinese and western dishes.
The hotel is also a working coffee plantation and this is apparent in many ways, from the morning tours (free) to the 4 types of coffee power included in the complimentary room tea & coffee set.
It’s a beautiful hotel, pricy though and there’s not much in the local vicinity, but if you want luxury and a great experience in central Bali, it’s a good choice.
GGuest UserWe went for our 20th wedding anniversary and could not have been happier with our choice! This place is stunning both inside and out. We were amazed by how beautiful the surroundings were with every detail well thought out. The room was stunning and well laid out. When we arrived they had cooled down the room and heated the pool which was the absolute perfect temperature the entire time. Having a wam pool was a big part of how much we enjoyed our stay as we spent quite a bit of time in it. The room and outside patio area was very private and we felt as though we were the only ones there at times.
The food was also amazing whether we ate at the poolside restaurant, the high end restaurant Aperitif, or eating in the Pinstripes Bar. We really enjoyed the bar and the staff there. They were so attentive and everyone made us feel right at home. We enjoyed great conversations there and got some good recommendations on things to see in the area. The drinks were really next level as these bartenders know their craft. It was fun to watch them mix the drinks and they explained the science behind what flavors they were combining and how some of the spices and other ingredients were locally sourced.
The entire staff was also another highlight. Everyone we encountered could not have been more friendly and attentive. The general manager even took the time to sit with us to see how our stay was going and asking other questions that showed he was very committed to the property. We also like that this is a family owned property. They were staying there while we were there and it was clear they too all had a passion for excellence.
We researched properties for months before deciding on Viceroy. We did spend a bit more in the end than we may have for other 5 star properties, but after reading some of the reviews at the other places, we kept circling back to Viceroy. We are so glad we did and in the end, the extra money still made the stay seem like a bargain. We have paid about the same for a tiny room in a substandard hotel in New York City and here we were treated like kings in one of the most beautiful spots we have ever stayed in.
Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. We will be back!

Amazing
SSchleiderFor a relaxing, romantic stay in Bali away from the tourist hot spots, the Sanak Retreat is the ideal place to stay. It is really exceptionally nice located in the middle of the rice terraces and the few bungalows blend harmoniously into the landscape. We felt right at home. The food is ok and not too expensive. The location invites to hiking and biking. The only downside to our stay was that we were there at the time of the rice harvest and the farmers in the immediate vicinity of the hotel burned the rice palm after the harvest. This has unfortunately stunk terrible and fouled entire stretches of land for days. Those who are sensitive to bad air should try to avoid the time of the rice harvest.
RRyan.AOur stay at Homm Saranam Baturiti was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were welcomed by a breathtaking mountain view that immediately set the tone for a relaxing getaway.
Walking into our two-bedroom villa, the kids were completely wowed. The villa was amazing—spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for our family of five. It even had its own private plunge pool, incredibly comfortable beds, and cozy areas where you could relax with a quiet read.
Our villa was conveniently located next to the main pool and gym, both of which we used daily. Breakfast had everything we needed to start our mornings right.
One of the highlights of our stay was an intimate dinner at the upstairs restaurant. A big shout-out to Chef Erni and Ryan, who prepared our à la carte dishes with so much love. Every dish we tried was incredibly flavoursome and memorable.
The location was also ideal for exploring nearby attractions. We visited Banyumala Twin Waterfalls, Handara Gates, and the Floating Temple, all of which were absolutely stunning.
Homm Saranam Baturiti is a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. We would definitely return.
GGuest UserThis hotel is ideal for a relaxing getaway, with a wide variety of activities and excellent restaurants. The breakfast is amazing. They also offer a superb massage service. We'll definitely be back.
GGuest UserVery happy to be able to stay here, everything is good, suitable for couples who like silence like us😍 cool view close to the beach, the sound of the waves can be heard from the villa room
Thank you, next time I come to Bali I will come here again because it's really that good at an affordable price 😍
In the future, please check the bathroom, the water sometimes suddenly turns off and comes back on for some reason
Thank you agrapanaa 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
GGuest UserGede was so nice and helpful. True MVP. He gave me suggestions and even a ride to somewhere too far to walk! Short walk to Dream Beach (with a good restaurant) and Devil’s Tear. About 20 minute walk to Mushroom Beach with more restaurants and a few ATMs along the way. You can rent a scooter from the hotel. The bungalows are rustic but really pleasant. The AC is strong and there’s a mosquito net for the bed so it’s not a problem that there are some gaps in the walls and door. I liked the open-air bathroom. The shower was nice. The pool is also great. Breakfast was eggs and toast, plus coffee/tea and juice.
The outlets weren’t placed super conveniently at the floor if you like to charge your phone at night and see it in bed. The “safety box” thing in the room isn’t actually secure - you can open it with your finger. However, I always felt super safe and wasn’t worried about needing to use it.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe standard room has an AC according to trip.com, but in fact it only has a fan.
But I wont blame the hotel, because I have the strong feeling trip used a.g.o.d.a as a third party and put the wrong information.
The view from our room was very nice, and we had the banana pancake for breakfast that was excellent. It is a good accomodation for the price and I would recommend it. But next time I would choose a room with AC
