Amazing
AAnonymous UserGreat location, very convenient for getting around. The restaurant food was good, and I loved having a big bathroom with a hot spring tub. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance. The only minor drawback was that the room was a bit small, but it didn't really affect the overall experience.
GGuest UserI stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.
WWingStefanieThe room was quite spacious. There were coffee beans in the drawer, so we could enjoy coffee and admire the snowy view from our room during the heavy snow. The front desk staff on the first floor were very polite and answered all our questions. Given the cold weather, the free-flow coffee, made with famous Hokkaido coffee beans, was a nice touch. Dinner was at the second-floor restaurant, featuring simple appetizers, a beef hot pot, and all-you-can-eat sushi. I'm not sure if it was because of New Year's Eve, but the service was incredibly slow; several Japanese groups who arrived after us had already finished their meals, and we had only been served three dishes. On the ninth floor, there are three private baths, which were very comfortable for my family to relax and chat in. There's ice cream available for self-service on the tenth floor. After 9:30 PM, the hotel offers warm and comforting ramen, which was a thoughtful touch. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel, and the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are about a five-minute walk straight ahead. Next door, there's a yakiniku restaurant. I initially thought we wouldn't find any hot food open on New Year's Day, but surprisingly, it was open and there was no queue. For that alone, I'd give it a big thumbs up!
EE2772****Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets.
Cleanliness: Good.
Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning.
Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening.
MM526268****I originally booked a single room, but when I arrived late at night, the hotel upgraded me to a larger, much more comfortable and spacious room. It was wonderful, but unfortunately, I had to catch a flight the next day and couldn't stay longer. There's a hot spring on the rooftop where you can enjoy milk or beer after your soak! So relaxing!
LLiduoxiliaolinuolisiI'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!
Mmind_blowingThis was my third stay, and it was just as great as the previous times. I enjoyed watching the cruise ships and the sea, and loved the open-air onsen on the top floor. By coincidence, there was an earthquake during my stay, and it was quite shaky, but the hotel's emergency response was excellent, which helped everyone feel less nervous and worried!
AAilvxingdeabuI absolutely loved this Lavista hotel! The breakfast was fantastic, with a great spread including salmon, sweet shrimp, ice cream, and pudding. There's a direct bus to Hakodate Airport right nearby, costing 700 yen, and it's conveniently located next to Meijikan. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are just a 2-minute walk away, which is super handy for buying snacks and souvenirs. The onsen (public bath) was excellent, with good quality body lotion and hair conditioner provided. There were several outdoor baths, which were very relaxing. Plus, after a soak, you get free ice cream! It's about a 15-minute walk to both the Hakodateyama Ropeway and Hakodate JR Station. The views of Mount Hakodate are also beautiful. Highly recommend!
MM481516****The room's location is great, with a tram stop right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to several attractions. One minor drawback is that there's no complimentary bottled water, but I think that's the case with most MyStays hotels.
翩翩翩依旧A clean and beautiful small hotel, about 10 minutes walk from all bus stops (including trains and trams), the rooms are clean and tidy, the service attitude is amiable, and the entrance and exit are like greetings from the family. Although the rooms are not fully equipped, in short, a good experience
