"The hotel is located next to the train line, near Jiefangbei so it is very convenient. The staff is very friendly, proactively contacting in advance to confirm information and give very detailed directions. We arrived early and the room was empty so we were able to check in early. The room is very spacious, clean, has a washing machine and refrigerator, the view from the bedroom is also very nice. However, the elevator of the building is a bit smelly and because it is high up, the wait for the elevator is a bit long but it's ok."

GGuest UserWhen you check in to the hotel, the reception will add you to their WeChat and you can ask them stuff via this WeChat. Iāve checked in at 3am and asked for adaptor etc which the reception and housekeeping services had all promptly responded to me, informing where I can find it in the room. While the furniture wasnāt the newest, the rooms were clean , comfortable and services excellent. The location is superb- it is next to the Yangtze cable car and in the same building as the clouds eye observation deck. You can even walk to Raffles Chongqing. Opposite the road and close by is the Westin hotel. If you walk behind Westin, you reach JianFangBei and the Baiyu food street. This hotel is close by to a lot of attractions. I seen other reviews of the lift congestion but it wasnāt a big issue for me as most of the time, I am outside and by the time Iām back to the hotel, is probably non- peak hours to visit the clouds eye observation deck. Overall, is value for money.

MmshpltshWonderful hotel! We were given a choice between two rooms, the girls at the reception were incredibly kind and helped us with every question. The view is amazing, and the room is cleaned every day! I donāt know what people are saying about the elevators ā getting around was actually very quick and convenient. The view is stunning; you can even watch the drone show right from your window.
I also forgot my bag in the room when I was already at the airport, and the caring girls at the reception arranged for it to be delivered to the airport in just 40 minutes ā Iāll be grateful to them for the rest of my life! Highly recommend this place!

YYaodoudou123I saw online that I could upgrade my room, so I asked at check-in and was given a room with a view of Jiefangbei. I could see Jiefangbei right from my bed, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were huge. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was only a small round table for placing things, which felt a bit insufficient. The overall decor felt a bit stark and unwelcoming. It would have been nicer with some decorative flowers. I was able to get a late check-out until 2 PM. When I left, they even gave me hotpot base as a parting gift. Many hotels are located in this tall building, so the elevators can get crowded and require waiting.

MM222061****This stay was fantastic, highly recommended! The hotel's location is excellent, with views of Chaotianmen and the Yangtze River Bridge right from the window. It's also very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Transportation is super convenient with a subway entrance right at the doorstep, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

MM361185****As a long-standing five-star hotel, although the facilities and equipment are a bit dated, the quality is still there. The location is superb, making it very convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Shibati. We booked a family room, which was very spacious. The biggest highlight was the dining hours from 7:30 to 13:30, which was very satisfying. The staff were also very friendly. The young man at the pizza stall was particularly enthusiastic and proactively asked the children if they wanted durian pizza (P.S. the durian-flavored pizza was really good). Suggestion for improvement: Could there be two more bottles of mineral water in the room? One bottle per person feels a bit insufficient.

CcrystalxxlThe supervisor and the receptionist at check-in assigned us to the 16th floor, which had a great view outside the window ā very satisfying. It's very close to Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong is right next door. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
However, the front desk didn't proactively offer the fridge magnet for leaving a review when checking out. I only saw others getting them and had to ask for one, which they reluctantly gave. Considering we stayed three nights and had two kids with us, it would have been much better to generously offer two. That would have significantly improved the customer experience.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the hotel and received a wonderfully warm welcome from Mr. Allen Fung. He even added me on WeChat for easy communication, which was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, when I entered the room, the light tube flickered in an unsettling way. Mr. Fung immediately sought out a technician to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, they were unable to fix it. In a gesture of genuine concern, he upgraded our room, which we truly appreciated.
What stood out to me even more was how Mr. Fung personally helped us move our luggage to the new room. He consistently checked in on us throughout our stay until we checked out, making sure we were comfortable. This level of attentiveness and care made our experience memorable, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel services I've encountered during my travels. Thank you, Mr. Fung, for your exceptional hospitality!

The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

While it was eventually resolved, there might have been a communication breakdown between the night and morning front desk staff.
