The hotel is close to the Dapuqiao metro station and is a good place if you want to explore the French concession area near Tianzifang. It’s an international hotel and it’s now showing its age. Compared to more modern hotels in the city, the room is really basic, with old style wall sockets, no automation and forniture with no personality. The bathroom in particular is not what you would expect from a modern hotel nowadays and feels like something you would find in any Accor hotel of even lesser category. The breakfast buffet it’s ok and with a lot of options, but the room is a little bit chaotic. In the end with had a nice stay and the staff is really helpful, but I’ll recommend it only if you really need to stay in the area. The city offers a lot better options.

Stayed here recently and overall had a pretty average experience considering a big brand like Pullman. The location is fantastic — right above the metro, which makes getting around super convenient.
That said, the hotel could use a bit of refreshing. I had to change rooms after the first night due to a water heater issue. But shoutout to the relations manager, who handled the situation really well and even upgraded me to a nicer room, which definitely made the rest of my stay more pleasant.
One thing that could really be improved — ******* deliveries. It’s quite a hassle to go down to collect items yourself. Would be a huge plus if they had delivery robots or some system to send items up to the rooms, like some other hotels in Shanghai already do.
All in all, decent stay with great service recovery, but a revamp of the hotel is overdue.

The room had smoking smell even though it’s smoking free hotel. You can’t use the swimming pool without the hat, or you can buy for 49 rmb. But I don’t think you would want to use it cause there are always swimming classes for children so it’s not enjoyable for people who stay there. The rest is fine.
