We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen with our family—our 3-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son, my wife, and me—and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is wonderfully child-friendly, with activities that kept our kids delighted throughout. The pirate-themed swimming pool was a standout; our children didn’t want to leave! Our daughter especially adored the train that circles the swimming play area, adding a magical touch to their fun.
The gym area is excellent, offering a great space for adults to unwind and stay active. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations, and breakfast was superb, featuring an impressive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to suit every taste.
A big thank you to @Dafne 达芙妮 for making our entire stay so special — her thoughtful service truly enhanced our experience. We have been returning to this hotel since our son was 2 years old, and thanks to Dafne, this visit was extra memorable. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Xiao Zhang works the night shift and is a five star leader of the check in and organization. I didn't eat breakfast or use the laundry but both are available.
By check out time the day shift was confused, not sending ******* orders up, messy lobby with clients not being serviced and two workers not really helping.
The room is just like the pic but I didn't notice no windows. Small and clean but with some water damage on the ceiling leaving a bit of damp smell if the dehumidifier is not on. Good for one Halloween night.

We stayed for two nights over a weekend during our kids' summer vacation trip. The room, though small, was fully equipped and offered great value for money. The spacious restaurant on the 7th floor provides views of China Folk Culture Village. This time, due to a typhoon, we only visited Window of the World. My child and I have already decided we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Clean room but terrible service. I called the receptionist to see if they have laundry service available but she said no, I need to look myself. I then asked if she could point me to a dry cleaner and she says no, I need to look myself. Later I found that the hotel does indeed have dry clean service and it was available in the room. The receptionist did not like foreigners.
The vending machines are also not functional, but you can walk to a convenience store.
The air conditioner is very strong.
It is also right above a train station, so that is convenient, but not too much to do at night within walking distance.

I had the pleasure of staying at the HW Hotel in Shenzhen, and I must say, it’s a hidden gem! The hotel is simple, but in the best way possible. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The standout feature for me, though, was how incredibly quiet it was — a real plus in such a busy city. I was able to relax and get a restful night's sleep without any disturbances.
The staff were friendly and helpful, making the entire experience even better. If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay in Shenzhen without the frills, HW Hotel is an excellent choice!

We had nice stay here! Spacious, clean and comfy bed. The location is great as it is surrounded by eateries and there’s convenient store nearby. It would be better if they improve for breakfast as the options very limited.
Will definitely stay here again when I come to Shenzhen.

We stayed here for 5 nights with just my daughter and me and we both loved it. The little kids corner is nice with Lego’s and foosball. The little robot we named Fred was cool for our deliveries. The best part about this hotel is the free laundry room and amenities in the room such as eye masks, essential oil diffuser, air purifier, and Japanese style toilet. Staff are helpful and accommodating. 👍

Back from Guangzhou, I decided to stay at Von Hotel again. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the hotel facilities were very convenient, truly making it feel like a home away from home this time. It's super easy to get food delivery and do online grocery shopping in the area. Even if you're short on time, you can order souvenirs online and have them delivered directly to the hotel. The convenience is just unbeatable!

Very nice and good hostel. Location is super! Very fancy area with a lot of leasurely coffeeshops, restaurants and fancy shops. Looks like an area for the wealthy:). Hostel personnel is awsome, very friendly, helpfull and fluent in English. Rooms are hostel like, functional and well maintained. If I would have to mention something which would not have a 5 star rating, it would be the mattress which is not so comfy (hard) but we have slept in Hotels mostly of our trip, so maybe we are spoiled.
Would for sure recommend!

CChung ManBecause of the wind, I was a hotel near the subway station. I was renovated near the station. There was no elevator at Exit A of Baishizhou. It was not convenient to push the BB car and the luggage. Going to the hotel without opening the elevator, you have to carry your luggage. It is not convenient. When I entered the room, I saw that there was instant noodles in the electric water. I should cook the noodles with the first hand. You don’t clean the left hand first. I asked the cleaning sister to ask me to wash it myself, but I was too clean and oily to wash it myself. Finally, I changed one to me. But I don't dare to drink water too much, drink a bottle of water.
The room is clean, no hair and urine smell, if you can wash it with disinfectant, it will be more fragrant, there is a tea set to make tea, but you don't dare to use it too much.
Breakfast is very ordinary bowl of white porridge, it is recommended to add a higher-level coffee machine, now too sweet will be buried sugar.
But the price is more than 350 yuan, counting, can not be too high, I hope to keep clean, I will come again. There is free laundry, but the dryer should be bad, dry, please replace the new, those two washes for two hours.
The receptionist was very polite at night and forgot how to name it. Will supply me with paper towels, have patience, thank you.

MMrDrunThe room was very clean, really great, very close to Window of the World, next to the subway. I walked there after playing in the town for half a day after leaving the subway station. It's super close.
The boss was very nice and upgraded me to a street view room, which not only broadened my vision but also made the whole room look more spacious and brighter. Sitting on the bay window, with a cup of coffee in hand, you can enjoy the view of the window.
In short, this bay window street view room gave me a perfect living experience. Whether it is the leisurely time in the early morning or the quiet time at night, it can make me feel extremely happy and satisfied! 💖
