BOOMEVAThe ambiance is perfect, 10/10! The lobby design is absolutely stunning; I was genuinely awestruck by the trees inside the lobby when I arrived after a late-night flight. It's definitely a great spot for photos.
However, the service was quite average. You could tell they were trying their best to serve you well, like they'd just finished training and were new on the job.
The second front desk staff member who checked me in spoke in a very condescending tone, as if I owed them a fortune. I told them I had booked breakfast for one and wanted to add another person, but this staff member ended up canceling my entire breakfast order. And then they even asked for a good review.
The staff often made mistakes or seemed impatient. At other hotels, the staff usually prioritizes guest requests, but here it felt like they were doing everything reluctantly. Perhaps in a couple of years, once the staff training improves, the experience will be better.

Bringing kids to Guangming? I definitely recommend this hotel!
The location is truly excellent. Phoenix City Station is right next door downstairs, and there's a shopping mall nearby. It's just two stops to the Science and Technology Museum and the Art Museum, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around!
They have a wide variety of parent-child themed rooms. We booked the Penguin Igloo theme this time. The room was very spacious, with a 2-meter king-sized bed and a child's bed, plus a 'secret igloo hideout' that the little one absolutely loved. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation and a large bathtub, perfect for the kids to soak in at night. The room also thoughtfully provided kids' cups, toiletries, and a booster stool. It's genuinely ideal for families traveling with children.
The hotel facilities are also great, including a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a laundry room.
We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. When you're in Guangming, you have to try the Guangming Roast Pigeon, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy it right at the hotel without having to go out. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the taste was fantastic!

Anonymous UserThe hotel stay and dining were absolutely fantastic. The food was incredibly affordable, like a budget-friendly local eatery, and the seafood prices were much better than outside restaurants. Both the Chinese and Western dishes were delicious. The accommodation was very quiet, and no one disturbed us during our stay. Upon arrival at the parking lot, the butler helped with parking and charging, and the welcome fruit was also very tasty. After checking in, I couldn't stop recommending it to family and friends. The only downsides were the many stairs to climb, and the shuttle bus only dropped off at the Phase 2 entrance. Also, when the balcony window was opened, there was a strange smell.

ZitingFacilities: The facilities are well-equipped and comprehensive, ensuring a comfortable stay. The room even had a heated towel rail, which was a nice touch.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. They even provided alcohol wipes in the bathroom for disinfection, which was very thoughtful.
Environment: The surrounding area is great, offering a quiet escape despite being centrally located. There's a subway station right outside, and various commercial areas nearby that can meet all your travel needs.
Service: The service attitude was excellent; they were very responsive to all requests. Any issue was resolved quickly. Five-star rating for the front desk staff.
Overall, it's definitely worth staying here again.

Andy qiMandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

sharonxuAnother stay that exceeded my expectations.
To be honest, I'm not particularly fond of Shenzhen; the pace is suffocatingly fast, and the crowds make you question everything. But the moment I stepped into the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Qianhai, all my discomfort vanished.
Cassie, who had contacted me in advance to confirm my special requests for check-in, appeared at the front desk at just the right time. She assisted with the check-in process with a lovely smile—it's truly rare to see such genuine smiles in Shenzhen 💖.
Now, about the hotel's hygiene, facilities, and linens: as someone who's a bit of a clean freak, no visible hygiene issues mean no issues at all 😂. The room's V&B luxury bathroom with a double vanity is perfect for couples. The shower and bathtub are arranged together, ensuring perfect wet/dry separation. The fluffy, pristine towel set deserves special praise; I haven't had such an experience in a long time. The bedding, besides being white and soft, also had a subtle pattern, instantly elevating its class and matching the hotel's positioning.
This trip was to see Xiao Mei's live performance at the Wanyou Space opposite, which was a 5-minute walk – truly the best choice. The hotel is next to the Bao'an District Culture and Sports Center, and not far from the seaside. Next time, if I have more time, I'll definitely explore the bookstore and watch the sunset.
Finally, I must mention the complimentary breakfast specially offered by Cassie; it's truly worth trying and absolutely worth the money.

Guest UserMy stay at Shenzhen Orange Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation access, and there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, making it incredibly easy to get around. The room was spacious and bright, with a simple yet cozy decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable, with attention to detail evident throughout. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in efficiently and even thoughtfully providing recommendations for local attractions. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the food was delicious. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe room facilities are complete and it's very clean, a non-smoking room with no strange odors. You can see Window of the World from the window. The king-size bed is a bit soft, but the children's bed is just right. The breakfast buffet is quite rich and the taste is decent. Yitian Plaza is downstairs, there's a food street nearby, and a metro station not far away, making transportation convenient.
However, the underground parking lot is on B3 of Yitian Plaza and is quite old. On rainy days, there's a bit of an odor... I hope it can be upgraded and renovated in the future.

Guest UserThe overall experience was excellent. I particularly love the hotel environment, room cleanliness & space, and its convenient location.
The front desk staff Quella was super helpful. I arrived the hotel for check-in at around 9pm. The free drink offered in my hotel package only covered the time 7-8pm. Quella helped me to arrange with the bar tender to extend the time for us until 9:45pm. So we can enjoy a bit of moment in the Rbar.

Guest UserThe room was spacious and felt very open! The bedding was comfortable and breathable. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a great wet/dry separation. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the Chaoshan congee and kway teow, which had an authentic Guangdong flavor. Parking downstairs was fine, and there was a convenient food street right across the road. The front desk service was excellent! Great value for money, I'll definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!
