Great location within walking distance to the Canton Tower. The area used to be a textiles manufacturing area as well as a small iron foundry. The factories have now been converted into offices, creative spaces and funky studios. there is even a boutique hotel which is great. Only an 8 min walk to Exit A Kecun Metro station.

Was able to go in this part only due to time constraints. In the future, we will try to explore this park again as this is huge and needs a lot of time.
5/5
Yuexiu Park is Guangzhou’s largest and most historic urban park, famous for the Five Rams Statue, Zhenhai Tower (Guangzhou Museum), and the Ming Dynasty city wall. Entry is free, open daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, with only the museum requiring a ¥10 ticket.

We often think travel is the privilege of the young, forgetting that curiosity about the world knows no age. The world is so vast, so vast that every corner holds different stories, waiting to be heard. When you finally decide to set off, you'll find that those moments you thought you missed were actually accumulating strength for you. Setting off isn't about proving anything, but about seeing more. When you stand on unfamiliar land, feeling the different winds and sunshine, you'll understand that the beauty of life lies not in how much you possess, but in how much you experience. It's never too late to start.

A craft trip to learn how to make scented candles is full of heartwarming fun. Pour melted wax into a container, add your favorite essential oil, insert cotton thread and wait for it to solidify. You can even add dried flowers for decoration, creating a unique candle. The whole process is immersed in a delicate fragrance. After you've finished, take it home, and when you light it, the whole house will be filled with your favorite scent. Every time you light it, it reminds you of a relaxing afternoon making candles—it's so therapeutic.

As a city park in Guangzhou's old city, Yuexiu Park is truly a delightful place. Not only is it free to enter, but the entire park is nestled against the mountains and beside the water, with dense vegetation providing ample shade from the scorching sun. Walking along the tree-lined paths, a cool breeze blows, keeping you completely cool. Climbing the stone steps to the Five Rams Statue offers a panoramic view of much of old Guangzhou, with rows of arcade rooftops peeking through the lush greenery, their everyday life wafting through the air. At the foot of the mountain, you can enjoy boating on Beixiu Lake, where elderly people sing Cantonese opera along the roadside, and neighborhoods gather under the shade of trees to play chess and drink tea. You don't need to specifically seek out tourist attractions; a casual two-hour stroll is incredibly relaxing, capturing the authentic essence of everyday Guangzhou life.

Beautiful views, we were there at lunchtime, there weren't many people. The kids loved the magician, and we enjoyed it too. It will be beautiful in the evening too.
5/5
I visited in June 2026. Overall, everything was very clear and understandable, and the staff were always willing to help me if I was confused. It's worth a visit! If only for the cabins. The view of the city is also impressive, of course.
4/5
The atmosphere is great, from near sunset until evening, offering a 360-degree view. (Unfortunately, it was drizzling, cloudy, cool, and windy the day I visited.) Despite the crowds, it was well-organized. There are many shops and restaurants below, and activities for children.

Don t do my mistake and buy the combo bubble tram + ferris wheel thinking it’s two different attraction. We went after 8:00 PM so quite a line to get into a bubble tram. And then you have to share the space with strangers. It sais no more than 6 person per bubble but honestly it really depends on how many people in your group. We were 4 and they added 3 more people. So not idéal honestly. My daughter had more fun purchasing on site the drop attraction. Quick drop, less than 10 sec. But she said it was a great one. The tower looks amazing at night with light and the view are stunning from there. All the staffs can communicante with little English and when they can t they are more than happy to try their best to assist! So highly recommend it.

The staff here were very rude. But this is an amazing place must visit. The sky drop was so cool but very scary but I couldn't take any pictures of it and they don't provide any picture service. The view is amazing from here.

The Pearl River tour was magnificent. I was able to admire the city, which was all lit up! A truly wonderful experience.

Everything was fine. We went in and sat down. At first, everyone sat down randomly, then some started going straight to their tables, and a bit of chaos ensued. And so, we leisurely swam around for an hour and looked at everything with the backlighting.
5/5
The scenery is superb, but the facilities need improvement.
5/5
Cruise is comfortable and clean but view is okay. Entertainment onboard too

Interesting to see, a good boat ride, great views, best time after sunset, huge queues, maybe related to a national holiday

The temple is beautiful, nothing more to say. It's very beautiful. I've been there twice, during the day and in the evening. I attended a service during the day, which was very interesting.

Beautiful in the daytime, but absolutely magical at night. The lights bring out the temple’s architecture and surrounding atmosphere, creating a stunning and peaceful view. Definitely worth visiting twice to experience both sides of its beauty!

While strolling along Beijing Road, we stopped by the Dafo Temple—and we didn't regret it at all! It took a little time, but it was enough to soak up the atmosphere: the traditional Chinese architecture and the composition of the three Buddhas were truly impressive. It's just a shame we visited during the day—we missed out on seeing the temple illuminated at night; I'm sure it looks even more magical at night. I definitely recommend including the Dafo Temple in your Guangzhou itinerary—it's a beautiful and tranquil haven amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
Things to do in Guangzhou | Baiyun Mountain
If time allows, hike Baiyun Mountain—Guangzhou’s "green lungs." Summit its highest peak, Moxing Ridge, for panoramic city views. Every trip is a chance to recharge. Leaving familiar surroundings, temporarily setting aside all responsibilities and pressures, you can feel a different wind, see different trees, and taste different flavors. Having seen the vastness of the world, you realize how insignificant your troubles are; accumulated negative emotions dissipate as you walk. Returning with a full heart of joy, your steps become much lighter when you set off again.
5/5
I had so much fun, amazing time visiting this mountain. I recommend to everybody who visits Guangzhou to climb this mountain for amazing views. Really enjoyed it.

A must see, then go to the water and you can swim, very impressive

Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Park is beautiful in all seasons, and the morning mist makes it look like a fairyland. Take a stroll along the "Cloud Trail", shaded by green trees and accompanied by the chirping of birds, and climb Mount Davis for a panoramic view of the entire city. There are stele forests and ancient temples scattered among the mountains, where humanity and nature blend together. The cable car slowly ascends, and the forest beneath our feet surges like blue waves. I recommend trying the Shanshui tofu pudding from the small shop on the top of the mountain, which is sweet and refreshing. At dusk, the sunset dyes the sky red, contrasting beautifully with the city lights. The air is fresh and has a high content of negative ions, making it the "green lung" of Guangzhou. A half-day leisurely stroll can wash away the hustle and bustle of the city and refresh your body and mind.

White Swan Pond
4.6/5
6 reviewsOpposite the famous White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, the Pearl River is the intersection of three sections of the Pearl River, known as the "White Goose Pool". The wide river surface here is very suitable for watching the sunset. At sunset, the sunset shines on the Pearl River, sparkling and very beautiful. The best places to watch the sunset are in the area of "People's Bridge" and "Chau Tau Tsui Park". Bai Gou Pond is close to Shamian Island.
