The moment you step into the Forbidden City, the red walls and yellow tiles, imbued with six hundred years of history, rush towards you. Every brick and tile between the halls carries the warmth of history. Walking slowly along the central axis, you can witness the grandeur of the imperial architecture and feel the everyday life of bygone days in the details. Even in the height of summer when there are many tourists, finding shade under the trees to watch the corner towers reflected in the clear water instantly brings a sense of peace. It's a cultural feast that you absolutely cannot miss when visiting Beijing.

5/5
A very atmospheric place. It's best to go early in the morning and plan your route carefully, making sure not to enter from Tiananmen Square. The walk takes about four hours.

5/5
It's very convenient; just use your passport to get through the ticket gate. It's best to go early to avoid long queues, and note that the Forbidden City closes on Mondays.

4/5
There were no problems organizing the visit. We arrived at the designated time slot and began our tour. The palace itself is quite interesting, from an engineering perspective, but extremely empty and austere. It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for huge crowds, which can be extremely tiring.

5/5
We spent the whole day there. Lots of people. We were tired.

I visited Universal Beijing and had a really good time. The park is huge, with different areas, and my favourites were the Harry Potter ride (the 4D effects were amazing) and the WaterWorld show – I sat near the front and got a bit wet, which was fun. The Decepticoaster was intense, probably the scariest ride I’ve ever been on. In the evening, the light show at Hogwarts Castle was beautiful – definitely stay for that. Food was okay – Butterbeer is sweet and worth trying once, and the noodle place in the Kung Fu Panda area was decent and not too expensive.

5/5
We definitely liked the park, but the lines… We didn't have time to see the whole park in a day because so much time was lost in lines; you have to wait an hour to get a minute on an attraction. The Harry Potter area is so beautiful, you want to take photos of every corner. The Universal BJ app is very convenient; it shows wait times for attractions, as well as bathrooms, cafes, smoking areas, and all the events taking place in the park.

5/5
We really enjoyed the park. If you have any problems, you can always approach a staff member and they'll help you. We even called a taxi from the parking lot. We couldn't find it because it was raining heavily, so the parking attendant looked at the map and went to find it himself.

5/5
Even in the fog and light rain, the tour with Trikop was excellent. The guide explained everything clearly, so we understood the history without any problem. The weather added a mystical touch, there were few people, and the views were breathtaking. The organization was excellent. I highly recommend it!

5/5
The weather was perfect when I went – not too cold, not too hot, no sun, just a cool breeze. There weren't too many people. I waited about an hour for Harry Potter, but the queue moved quickly. I went in mid-May and will definitely go again.

Beijing Weather | Badaling Great Wall

Badaling Great Wall is known as one of the Nine Passes of the world. Its scenery combines grandeur and peril with beauty and verdant greenery, and it is the essence of the Ming Great Wall's landscape. "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man." Many Chinese people choose this place as their main option to climb the Great Wall.
The Badaling Great Wall pass is a trapezoidal shape that is narrower in the east and wider in the west, with two gates, the east and the west. The east gate is inscribed with "Juyong Outer Town", and the west gate is inscribed with "North Gate Key". The Great Wall extending northward from the pass city is the Northern Great Wall, which has 12 watchtowers. South of the pass city lies the Southern Great Wall, with seven watchtowers. The South Great Wall attracts fewer tourists than the North Great Wall. If you have enough time, you can visit the South Great Wall first and then the North Great Wall.

The mountains and rivers are magnificent, and the scenery is unparalleled, but with the holiday season in early April, it's incredibly crowded, making it impossible to properly appreciate the beauty.

5/5
Great experience. The admission starts at 6:30pm. Performance along the way from admission entrance to the actual Wall. When we started climbing the Wall, there was still daylight. While we climbing the Wall, the sun gradually set. The lights came on. It was beautiful. You actually get 3 states of the Great Wall in one tour. There's way less people there at night also. We only bought the admission tickets, didn't buy cable car tickets. We feel the cable car isn't necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

4/5
Really pretty, just ended with a sour note of heavy rain in the end. But it truly is worth climbing and watch the scenery. The ice creams was really pretty but not worth it. Me and my friends had chocolate, milk/yoghurt and grape and honestly only the chocolate and milk one were decent. When you buy the ice creams it’s only for aesthetic not the taste.

5/5
This miracle is a must see!

5/5
Convenient transfer to and from the wall. We paid the guide 140 yuan per person for the roundtrip cable car ride on the bus. The section of the wall itself is very short, which I didn't expect. For a longer walk, choose the section beginning with the letter M.

Beijing Weather | The Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven was a dedicated altar for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to offer sacrifices to heaven, pray for rain and pray for a bountiful harvest. It is a nationally renowned ancient building. The entire Temple of Heaven is divided into two parts: the Inner Altar and the Outer Altar. Famous buildings such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall are all located in the Inner Altar. When visiting the Temple of Heaven, apart from experiencing the grand scene of ancient emperors offering sacrifices to Heaven, the ingenious designs such as the Echo Wall and the Three-tone Stone are also worth a look. The wisdom of ancient craftsmen will leave you in great admiration.

Great place! It's a long walk, but we took the metro right to the park entrance. There's a nice cafe on site and it's not too expensive. It's definitely crowded.

5/5
The Temple of Heaven in Beijing is a place that leaves a lasting impression, combining grandeur and tranquility. It's a must-see, offering not only new knowledge but also a unique experience.

4/5
Nice views but very touristic place

5/5
Great place to visit)

5/5
I really liked it. Make sure to walk the entire park; it's beautiful. When you get to the temple, there's a spot where all the tourists take photos. But if you walk a little further, it's more or less peaceful, and you can take some nice pictures too. There are lots of beautiful girls taking photos there. Don't be shy about approaching them and taking a photo too; I was embarrassed and now I regret it. I went with my mom, and she was also delighted 🥰
