Beijing Weather | The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City, also known as the Purple Forbidden City, was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and a symbol and emblem of ancient China. When you stand in the imposing and well-arranged high walls and deep courtyards, you can truly feel its former glory.
The long history has left behind a large number of precious buildings and countless cultural relics here, which have also become the main focus of visiting the Forbidden City today.

More suitable for Chinese citizens, or a guide is needed

5/5
Educational! The access system is well organized, despite the large number of visitors. I recommend visiting.

5/5
Definitely worth the money. It's worth getting off the main road and exploring the side streets.

4/5
It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for lines at the entrance and a large crowd along the main route. Without a guide, some of the palace's rooms look monotonous. You can also head left off the main route and explore the small park areas away from the crowds. After the palace, it's a pleasant stop at Beihai Park, located near the palace exit, a 10-minute walk away.

4/5
Worth a visit if it's your first time in Beijing for sure. It is very vast so make sure to take it easy. The imperial garden section seemed the busiest.

A really cool park. We were thrilled. But we got express passes. Otherwise, we'd have been standing in lines for two hours.

5/5
I recently visited Universal Beijing Resort, and my impressions were exceptionally positive. Everything was top-notch, from the organization to the rides themselves. The main focus of the trip was Hogwarts, and it lived up to my expectations: the atmosphere was simply incredible, like stepping right into the movie.
I'd especially like to highlight the ease of use of the official app—the park map is very well thought out, showing the queues for all the rides, which is a huge help with time management.
Of all the rides, the Transformers roller coaster was the most memorable—it was crazy in a good way, very dynamic and exciting.
I would happily visit this park again.

5/5
The park is excellent. We visited from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The evening castle show is beautiful, but the quality is terrible; it's better to watch two or three shows according to the schedule. The slides are weak, more for children and teenagers, even in the Transformers area. Lunch at the Three Broomsticks restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. There were lines, of course, but we relied on the online map with a queue timer. The Hogsmeade area is certainly well-known, but in person it seemed too childish. The staff is cheerful and congratulated us all day on our birthday because they gave us a badge at the entrance. In my opinion, the price is high for this level of rides.

We were impressed 🔥

Beijing Weather | Badaling Great Wall

Badaling Great Wall is known as one of the Nine Passes of the world. Its scenery combines grandeur and peril with beauty and verdant greenery, and it is the essence of the Ming Great Wall's landscape. "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man." Many Chinese people choose this place as their main option to climb the Great Wall.
The Badaling Great Wall pass is a trapezoidal shape that is narrower in the east and wider in the west, with two gates, the east and the west. The east gate is inscribed with "Juyong Outer Town", and the west gate is inscribed with "North Gate Key". The Great Wall extending northward from the pass city is the Northern Great Wall, which has 12 watchtowers. South of the pass city lies the Southern Great Wall, with seven watchtowers. The South Great Wall attracts fewer tourists than the North Great Wall. If you have enough time, you can visit the South Great Wall first and then the North Great Wall.

The Great Wall is a must visit in China. The bus was a little smelly of smoke. I think it is typical in China thought and hard to avoid in shared transportation. The tour guide was great- i don’t know how but it was all in Chinese but that’s okay for us but i saw some foreigners who may have thought it was in English. The tour guide was very friendly and explained interesting facts about the Great Wall. He didn’t try to sell anything. Note that you have to buy the cable car ticket for about 140 rmb which you can buy on the bus or when you arrive for the same price. Otherwise I’m not sure how you can walk up to the scenic area as it appeared far.

5/5
Come early, after 10 there are a lot of people. Otherwise, everything is great.

5/5
The Badaling Great Wall is truly magnificent and well worth a visit. The guided tour was detailed, the itinerary was well-planned, and the service was impeccable. Five stars!

4/5
Our Badaling Great Wall adventure was defined by the exceptional service of our private car driver. Navigating the mountain passes and parking logistics can be daunting, but our driver made the journey effortless. He was punctual, professional, and dropped us off right at the shuttle for the ground cable car, ensuring we beat the peak morning rush. Having a cool, quiet car waiting for us after a long day of hiking was the ultimate luxury. The ground cable car to the South Tower was a brilliant choice. The smooth, enclosed ride whisked us up the steep incline in minutes, saving our energy for exploring the actual wall. The views from the South section are breathtaking, offering the classic, rugged Great Wall scenery with slightly more breathing room than the North side.If you want to experience this world wonder without the stress of public transit or the exhaustion of the climb, a private driver and the funicular are the way to go. Highly recommended!

5/5
Good and seamless experiemce using QR obtained after booking. No need to show passport, just scan QR and entrance, wonderful. Went of a foggy and drizzling day, hence no so crowded. 2nd visit, still enjoy Badaling Great Wall very much.

Beijing Weather | The Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven was a dedicated altar for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to offer sacrifices to heaven, pray for rain and pray for a bountiful harvest. It is a nationally renowned ancient building. The entire Temple of Heaven is divided into two parts: the Inner Altar and the Outer Altar. Famous buildings such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall are all located in the Inner Altar. When visiting the Temple of Heaven, apart from experiencing the grand scene of ancient emperors offering sacrifices to Heaven, the ingenious designs such as the Echo Wall and the Three-tone Stone are also worth a look. The wisdom of ancient craftsmen will leave you in great admiration.

It really is a must-see in Beijing, but way too crowded on weekends. Otherwise, it is a beautiful, large, and clean complex. We walked the 3-hour route so that you see everything, and the English online information is a really good addition!

4/5
An amazing place to visit!! The signage to various areas could be clearer but still worth a visit! Best to go early jn the morning or later in the afternoon when the weather is good.

5/5
Beautiful building not much to do other than see the temple

5/5
This place is worth visiting and immersing yourself in its atmosphere.

4/5
Nice if you can see it but nothing special.
