The park is awesome, lines are from 1-2.20 hours. This 😞 My grandchildren really liked Zootopia, and I loved the Cave of the 7 Dwarves. I definitely recommend visiting.

The weather was hot, the entrance was super crowded, the queues were waiting to vomit, but it was quite fun, including: Tron, Seven dwarfs, rapids. The parade was great to watch, the performances were exciting, but it was crowded and you had to buy a fast pass to play certain items, otherwise you shouldn't be able to play them all in one day.

Shanghai Disneyland is the most incredible theme park I have ever visited! 🏰✨ Every detail is beautifully designed, from the stunning castle to the immersive themed lands. The rides are world-class, the shows are spectacular, and the atmosphere is truly magical for both children and adults. The park is exceptionally clean, well organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is so much to see and do that one day hardly feels like enough. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to visit again. A must-visit for anyone traveling to Shanghai! 🎢🎆🐭💙

My daughter (16) and I were there in August 2026, which is school break time. It was crowded, but very interesting. We got express passes for three attractions. The main one was Tron. My daughter was thrilled. We bought tickets for two days at a time. We thoroughly enjoyed every location. All the attractions were spectacular, offering complete immersion in the story. Pirates of the Caribbean, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Zootopia – you feel like you're a character and a participant in the events. The lines for the attractions are shorter during the hero parade. You can significantly reduce the wait time. Don't leave souvenir shopping for the very end of the evening, after the fireworks. We made that mistake. There were so many people, it was hard to breathe. I think we could have walked around and enjoyed this place for a week. Don't rush to have lunch. Enjoy!

If you don't want to or can't download a separate app, just use our mini-program:

  • What it is: a mini-program inside the WeChat or Alipay apps.
  • How to find it: simply enter "Shanghai Disney Resort" in the search bar within WeChat or Alipay.
  • Available features: ticket purchases, wait time viewing, restaurant reservations, and park navigation.

An important detail: to purchase tickets via the mini-program, you'll need a WeChat or Alipay account with a linked bank card. You don't need to register to view the map and queue times.

Tip: If you have the international version of Alipay, the mini-program will be in English, or you can use the built-in translation feature.

👀 Pro Tip: To stay connected throughout your trip, consider grabbing a China eSIM. Just activate it and you’re good to go!

Can I register with a foreign phone number?

This is the most common question and the biggest challenge for travelers from abroad.

ChallengeDescription

The code isn't arriving

The SMS delivery system is optimized for Chinese carriers. Despite the availability of international codes, delivery is often unreliable.

The code is arriving with a delay

Sometimes the SMS arrives after 10–15 minutes, when the code is no longer valid

Repeated requests don't help

The issue is on the sending server's side, not with your carrier or phone

What to do if the code doesn't arrive

MethodDescriptionReliability

Log in via Alipay

If you have an Alipay account with a linked card, use it to log in—you won't need an SMS code

⚠️ Medium (depends on Alipay availability)
