The location of Kempinski Boulevard Dubai is excellent—right in the heart of Downtown and very convenient for getting around. The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, professional, and consistently attentive. Service throughout the hotel was great, and cleanliness was also very well maintained.

That said, the rooms feel quite dated and are in need of renovation. While they are clean, the furnishings and overall condition do not meet expectations for a 5-star hotel, especially given the price point. For what is being charged, the rooms should be more modern and better maintained.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with fantastic staff and location, but room upgrades would significantly improve the experience and better justify the 5-star rating.

The location is absolutely fantastic. You can access Dubai Mall directly from the hotel. It's super close to both the Burj Khalifa and the Underwater Zoo. The breakfast meets the standard of an international five-star hotel. Just a heads up, the taxi stand is a bit different from what you might be used to in some countries. Free parking is a huge plus; you can just park right at the entrance and pick up your car when you leave. It's incredibly convenient for those on a road trip. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

I originally booked for one night, but due to unfinished business, I extended my stay by four more days, which allowed me to further experience the features of Kempinski.

Facilities: Very comprehensive, especially having two gyms! The gym on the 18th floor is relatively 'basic'; the one in the basement has two levels. B-1 has treadmills and light equipment like pull-up bars, while B-2 has a full range of barbells and dumbbells, and surprisingly, even two squash courts. What's even more delightful is that there's an indoor golf practice area where you can simulate playing a full round. The weekday charge is 150 yuan per hour, which includes free club rental (both men's and women's sets are available). I just didn't like the men's Dunlop carbon fiber set, so I didn't play. If you're in Beijing for golf and bring your own clubs, it's definitely worth a try.

The swimming pool on the 18th floor is quite short; you reach the end in just a few strokes. However, it's still good for relaxation. Both gyms have saunas and Turkish baths.

The breakfast buffet is very rich, with smoked salmon 🍣, plain yogurt, five types of honey, and four or five kinds of cheese – excellent value for money.

Also, soft drinks in the Mini-Bar are complimentary...

The room has amenities like bathrobes and an umbrella.

Hygene: No need to worry; it's impeccable.

Environment: Although Yansha Shopping Mall isn't as vibrant as it used to be, it's very convenient to enjoy the various dining options in the Liangma River business district.

Service: Very attentive. Two deliveries (express and errand runner services) were brought directly to my room by the concierge.

This is a luxury hotel, but I'm not sure if it's due to its somewhat remote location, but the overall facilities and services feel scaled back. The executive lounge on the 21st floor has been closed for a long time, and room service has also been discontinued for a while (so the hotel might as well remove the room service cards from all rooms). 

The lake-view room offers beautiful scenery outside the window, but the glass is very dirty. I've seen other reviews mentioning the glass has been dirty since last year. When booking, I indicated two adults and one child, and this was also recorded at check-in, but no children's bathrobe or slippers were provided. I had to call the front desk to request them. However, the hotel does state in the room's bathroom that disposable amenities are not actively provided.

We understand that there's a high volume of guests during the Chinese New Year period, but we could still see hair from previous guests and food debris on the floor. The toiletries in the shower should also be checked periodically. I'm not sure if the hotel is refilling old bottles with new stock, but the pump for our conditioner was faulty, and looking at the bottom of the bottle, it was already 24-year-old conditioner (with a shelf life of 12 months).

Regarding breakfast, I had seen reviews saying there wasn't much to eat, and that's indeed the case. Breakfast was chaotic, and the food quality was not up to 5-star restaurant standards.

Overall, I feel that avoiding holidays and peak times might allow for a better service experience. During Chinese New Year, the basement parking was incredibly messy, and there was a shocking amount of food waste at breakfast. Children were also very noisy in public areas.

Chinese New Year Craft Experience: 
We tried calligraphy, but I really disliked the teacher taking photos of the children with her phone. I hope these photos won't be used for future commercial promotion.

Our stay at the Hengyi Travel Photography affiliated hotel was absolutely fantastic! Luna at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, handling our check-in efficiently and patiently. She even went the extra mile by proactively helping us plan our travel photography itinerary, demonstrating flawless attention to detail. Our photographer, Zhaoyang, was equally professional. He expertly captured our best moments and patiently guided our poses and expressions throughout the shoot. The resulting photos were simply stunning! The entire experience, from our accommodation to the photography session, was completely stress-free. This definitely deserves a perfect five-star rating!

My stay at Yanqi Hotel was excellent. I especially want to commend Xin Yue (Riri) at the front desk; check-in was quick and attentive, and she was always smiling – so heartwarming! And thank you to the photographer, Potato, from Hengyi; his photography skills are superb, and he was particularly good at guiding poses, capturing the beauty and atmosphere of Yanqi Lake perfectly! The hotel environment is also great, the lake view is stunning, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This trip was a fantastic experience, definitely deserving a positive review!

First, let's talk about the location. It's right in the city center, in an upscale area, the heart of the CBD commercial district. Both the front and back entrances are convenient for accessing different commercial projects. You can easily walk to the subway, as well as high-end shopping centers like Central Embassy, Erawan Shrine, Central Chidlom, and Dior Gold House.  A short 10-15 minute walk from the back entrance will take you to Lumpini Park, where you'll find some truly unexpected small animals – I won't spoil the surprise! Further on is the beautiful Central Park, an excellent shopping mall.

Now, about the hotel room. It's an apartment-style room with a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with tableware. The fridge is restocked daily with complimentary items.

The hotel is very clean, and the service is great. My only two minor complaints are that the shower pressure isn't very strong. 

Finally, I have to praise the breakfast. There's a wide variety, the taste is excellent, and the quality is high. You can truly enjoy a satisfying meal.

There are many restaurants and massage shops nearby.

Been staying here for many times and have nothing to complain about the facilities and amenities, except that it was the first time to stay in an executive room and those are rather small and have a weird layout where there is a glass bathroom sticking out in the hallway and if u r not careful you will bump into it during night on your way to the restroom.

Staff‘s service and attitude was rather questionable at check in but the front office manager made it up. So all good.
