Coming to Dubai at this time really can't be beaten in terms of value. A room that usually costs over a thousand a night is now less than a thousand for two nights! It's an incredible deal! It's a shame that a lot of the transportation has become inconvenient now, which is truly regrettable. I hope Dubai can flourish again soon.

Lovely stay. It’s a bit old property, rooms are a bit small. Sea view definitely worth it, you can enjoy the scenery and drone show. But big green and really nice territory of the hotel. Nice beach. A lot of different food options. Friendly personal. A bit far from the city center, travelling to Burj Khalifa or anywhere else takes 30-40 minutes. Otherwise great location and option.

Our family had an unforgettable stay from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, the check-in, concierge service, and hotel staff were all superb. Truly a 10/10! They were incredibly attentive, responsive, always smiling, and genuinely caring. A special shout-out to Alex, Shivani, Jamshir, Jampesh, and Amine from Latest Recip, who were incredibly kind to our baby Imran.

This hotel truly lives up to its high ratings as a family-friendly destination. Most guests we saw were families with young children, even babies, who came to enjoy themselves.

There were plenty of kid-friendly activities, including an indoor children's playground, an outdoor white sand beach for digging, a high-altitude zipline, and an outdoor swimming pool. My child enjoyed them all.

I also want to thank our butler, Jerry. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready yet, so Jerry kindly upgraded us to a prepared family room, allowing us to check in immediately. He also promptly sent us all sorts of activity information via WeChat. The next day, my child was having so much fun that we were running a bit behind schedule. Despite it being a holiday and rooms being tight, Jerry still managed to give us an extra hour for late check-out.

There were two minor dissatisfactions with the hotel's facilities. First, the sound insulation of the room door was very poor; we could clearly hear conversations from people passing by in the hallway. Second, if you needed to use the restroom from the outdoor play areas, including the pool, you had to walk through a very, very long area to the corresponding section below the lobby to find one, and there were no signs indicating its location. Later, when I asked a staff member in the fitness area, they mentioned that the men's and women's changing rooms by the pool also had restrooms, but again, there were no signs whatsoever.

I've always loved this hotel, one of the last true Le Méridiens from the Starwood era – a real masterpiece from the real estate boom. The accompanying art gallery and the slanted 'spaceship' bathroom are fantastic; on a sunny day, the pure white bathroom truly shines. The custom office furniture from 12 years ago was definitely a cutting-edge aesthetic back then.

When the weather's clear, you can see Lujiazui, over ten kilometers away, which is absolutely stunning (ΩДΩ)!

The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were excellent. Their service is definitely top-tier for Marriott in Southwest China – give them a bonus!

Staying local is indeed the best way to beat the summer heat! My only complaint is that even when it wasn't busy, the freshly squeezed juice at breakfast wasn't refilled after 9 AM. And the noodle station staff somehow smelled more 'work-worn' than I did...

It's a shame that after the Marriott acquisition, Le Méridien's brand essence has visibly deteriorated... As AI says, there will never be another Le Méridien with such style and amenities again, *sigh* (＞_＜)～

The Le Méridien Qingdao is truly amazing!

I've traveled to many places and stayed in countless hotels, but the Le Méridien Qingdao is definitely one of the best, if not *the* best, in my opinion!

Every single staff member here is incredibly warm and friendly, making you feel genuinely welcome. Their responsiveness and speed in addressing guests' needs are truly impressive, and I'm very touched and grateful for it.

If I ever visit Qingdao again, I will absolutely choose to stay at the Le Méridien Qingdao, and I'll enthusiastically recommend it to all my friends and family.

Thank you so much for creating such wonderful memories for me. Because of you, my trip from beginning to end was even more beautiful and brilliant.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff! Looking forward to seeing you again!

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options.

The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children.

The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season.

By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.
