"We did not expect a 4- or 5-star hotel to allow its internet system to remain down for an entire night. This caused a long queue at check-in, and it took us almost two hours to complete the process and be escorted to our room, as the staff were unable to issue our room access card. In addition, we had booked and paid for a room for three guests. While the room did have two large beds, only two sets of amenities were provided. View from room was good though"

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and the relaxing atmosphere of the ocean breeze. The location is perfect — right next to the beach, where you can hear the soothing sound of waves all day and night. The sea view from my room was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. It felt peaceful and refreshing, the perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable. Every detail shows the hotel’s high standards — from the soft bedding and ocean-themed decor to the thoughtful little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary snacks. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony gave me a perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee while watching the waves. The staff deserve special praise. They were kind, polite, and always smiling. They helped me with everything I needed, from arranging transportation to recommending local restaurants and activities. Their service felt genuine and personal, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was another highlight. The food was fresh, especially the seafood, which was cooked to perfection. I loved having breakfast by the beach, enjoying the gentle breeze and the sound of seagulls. The buffet had a wide variety of choices, both local and international, and every dish tasted great. The facilities were also excellent — the pool was clean and had a great view of the sea, and the spa offered relaxing massages that made me feel completely renewed. Everything was well-maintained and clearly managed with care. Overall, this hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and top-quality service. It offers a peaceful environment where you can truly relax and feel connected to nature. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable seaside getaway. "I don't usually leave reviews, but the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong truly deserves one. The hotel's convenient location is a given. We stayed here for three days, and the attentive service truly left a lasting impression. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon seeing we had a child, they proactively offered a small gift and thoughtfully asked if we needed an extra bed. Every time we stepped out, the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile, which always started our day on a positive note. The room was also impeccably tidy, with even our charging cables neatly coiled. Our child left an umbrella in the lobby, and a male staff member from lost and found patiently spent over ten minutes helping us look for it, for which I felt quite apologetic. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful, with high-quality ingredients. As we were leaving, our child said they definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, something not very common for budget hotels in Hong Kong. Considering the price we paid, this is definitely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in the city. Our main reason for choosing this hotel was its convenient location near the Immigration Headquarters, which was only a 10-minute taxi ride away. The only minor drawback is that the MTR station is a bit of a walk, roughly 10 minutes, but there is the direct A29 bus to and from the airport, which made our journey very convenient. If you choose a room on the higher floors, you can also enjoy an incredible view. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and convenience for travelers."

"Hotels in Hong Kong are generally quite expensive with small rooms. I opted for this one primarily because its mid-range price point aligned well with my budget. The room itself wasn't small and felt quite spacious. The hotel boasts a good location. It's about a 15-minute walk from Sha Tin MTR station. Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, several bus routes from Sha Tin station stop directly in front of the hotel, which is just one stop away. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, so don't set your expectations too high; it doesn't even compare to a typical 3-star hotel in mainland China. However, given Hong Kong's prices, this hotel offers pretty good value for money. My room only had a bathtub, no separate shower, which was a bit inconvenient as I usually shower. Interestingly, a smaller room I booked also had a shower. So, I'd recommend contacting the hotel directly when booking to clarify the room type and amenities. The hotel offers pleasant views from the room, overlooking both mountains and a river – truly beautiful and refreshing. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. While the selection isn't extensive, it includes staples like bread, fried noodles, fried vermicelli, sausages, eggs, yogurt porridge, and siumai. Beverages like coffee, tea, and juice are also available. The food was prepared cleanly, and it was sufficient to fill you up. Both check-in and check-out processes were very quick, especially check-out, where you simply drop your room key card into a designated box. I had a relatively long stay in Hong Kong this time. For day trips, I found it very convenient to catch buses directly from the hotel entrance. Bus 81c takes you straight to Tsim Sha Tsui, and if you're heading to Sai Kung, the 299x route is direct. I visited Sai Kung for the first time on this trip to see the sea and islands, and the water was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend taking a bus from the hotel entrance; it's only about a 30-minute ride. New Town Plaza at Sha Tin station also offers a wide range of shops and some excellent dining options. All in all, this hotel provides good value for money."

"The hotel is a bit worn out, all equipments are out dated and full of dust (as shown in pictures below). The are no sound proof, noisy when other guests talking outside room 😔 No drinking water provided in room and no water dispenser machine provided. Have to spend extra money to buy water with quite high price. Not very good stay after 7years visit😔😔😔😔"

"The hotel is in a very central location with easy access to shopping malls and eateries. Although somewhat old, the room I stayed in was clean and cleaned up everyday. Breakfast served also has lots of varieties. One thing to note is the hotel does not provide bottled water and toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste. Photos shown are views from my room and also the waterfront which is within walking distance. All in all, my stay at this hotel was pleasant."

"My stay at COZi Hotel was excellent. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a wide range of amenities and family-friendly services. The staff were exceptionally helpful, arranging taxis, upgrading my room at no cost, and ensuring every detail was taken care of. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the metro and less than a 20-minute drive from the airport, making it an ideal choice for a stopover in Hong Kong. I would gladly choose to stay here again, even if it is slightly further from where I need to be, because of the overall convenience, comfort, and ease of the experience."

"Third time choosing this hotel. In general; If you are visiting Hong Kong for some shopping, foodie and no interest to travel to somewhere far away from HK island or theme park. A recommended place to stay with approximately 6min away from metro station and 3 mins if you take A11 from Airport. Hotel might be a bit age but sti clean enough. I get good and friend services ."

"I came to Hong Kong for a concert and saw this hotel highly recommended on various platforms, so I booked it without much comparison. Even the smallest room type was surprisingly spacious, and the bathroom was very large. The hallway offered convenient space for luggage. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the MTR station, but after following directions once, I found my way easily. The back entrance is in a logistics park, which isn't exactly deserted. There are some local 'bing suts' (Hong Kong-style cafes) and a McDonald's nearby for food, so the overall location is pretty good. They provided toothbrushes, toiletries, and toilet paper, but there were no facial tissues, bathroom slippers, or international adapters, so you'll need to bring those yourself."
