"The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained and the environment is very good. What was unexpected was the extremely unfriendly attitude of the front desk staff. At first, I thought they were unfriendly because my booking was from Trip.com (meaning I couldn't earn IHG member points), but after staying, I realized the front desk simply had poor service awareness. I came to Toronto for a game on the 20th. I arrived at the front desk at 2 PM, but the room wasn't ready, so I stored my luggage and checked in at 11 PM. The next day, I left at 10 AM and returned at 11 PM to find the room still hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk to complain, and an Indian man gave a perfunctory response and then hung up on me, which infuriated me... I called the front desk again, and an Asian woman answered. She was still perfunctory but eventually agreed to send towels and drinking water to the room. Traveling all this way and paying a high price for such an experience has really soured my impression of Toronto as a city. IHG, goodbye."

"I paid the deposit with my credit card when checking in. It's been 19 business days since I checked out, and I still haven't received the deposit release. (Apparently, it takes longer with international credit cards.) However, when I called the front desk, the male staff member was extremely rude and lacked basic professionalism. He just told me to call my bank, saying it was none of the hotel's business. All I wanted was confirmation that the hotel had at least notified the bank on the 25th. He couldn't seem to understand this point, no matter how I tried to explain, and just kept repeating that I should call my bank."

"The internet connection at this hotel is practically nonexistent; once your domestic data runs out, you're left with no Wi-Fi. And there's no option to pay extra for a working connection. This was the reason I switched hotels. One side of the hotel faces an elevated road, which is extremely noisy, so be sure to avoid those rooms. The higher floors on the other three sides are a bit better regarding noise. There's a large supermarket downstairs, which is quite convenient."

"Extremely satisfied. The price was very reasonable, the location was great, the environment was quiet, and it was just a few minutes' walk from the Toronto Botanical Garden. The room was large and very clean, comparable to a hotel executive suite. The host was very nice and even provided breakfast. Highly recommend to everyone."

"I really enjoyed the pool and the cuzzi in my room. The problem is trip.com advertised the wrong room picture and confused king with queen so I was expecting something else. I don’t like how the eggs and meats are an extra on the breakfast. There are no real options other than bakeries and cereal. I enjoyed the juice part. I drank a cranberry cup"

"The sofa bed in the room was too soft. It was better after we took the mattress off and put it on the floor, so you might want to consider that if you plan to use the sofa bed. Overall, it was still okay."

"Very nice accommodation with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen. Communication was quick and straightforward; we were able to spontaneously extend our stay by one night and remain in the same room without any issues. Besides a fridge, kitchen, and a washer-dryer, the accommodation even provided free water bottles, which was a thoughtful and practical touch. The room was clean and modern, making you feel very comfortable. The shower with massage jets was also very pleasant after a long day. The bed is sufficient for two people, but could be bigger. We had to push it against the wall because the mattress quickly gave way at the edge, and you'd easily fall out otherwise. The location is convenient but not exactly central. The good 10-minute walk to the subway and then a 25-35 minute ride to the center (depending on the destination) was uncomplicated but, of course, took time."

"This hotel was very satisfying and offered great value for money. **Facilities:** Pretty good! It even had a kitchen with pots and pans. Although I didn't use them, the facilities were fully equipped, and the room rate was reasonable, which is commendable. **Hygiene:** Clean and tidy. **Environment:** Nice. There's a car park, and a Quanjude restaurant right downstairs. **Service:** The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke Chinese, which made things a lot easier. The service staff were enthusiastic and proactively offered to help with luggage."
