We would absolutely recommend the Central Plaza Hotel in Zurich. Central to everything, without feeling too crowded. The staff was exceptional. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge, Bar area, everything was on point! Mohammed was an amazing server, we looked forward to chatting with him each evening! Staff was more than accommodating in guiding to areas not to miss etc. Food was very good. We had dinner in the restaurant below our last night… Tim, our waiter, was great, as were his suggestions for our meal’s. All in all a 10.

The front desk will be more supportive by the old couple.
He spoke in English with a very easy-to- hear speed and pronunciation for Japanese people, and he also looked at his passport and wrote the input at check-in! It was very helpful! !!
Breakfast is not buffet style, but I am very satisfied with the 4 kinds of bread, orange juice and hot drinks, jam and cheese, and boiled *.
The room is also large enough! It is very convenient because it is about 7 minutes walk from the station and there are many tourist spots within walking distance! !!

I stayed 2 nights at Ibis Styles Zurich Center. The room is okay for 2 people, but for me it felt quite basic. There’s no kettle, no cups, and no complimentary water in the room. If you want hot water, you have to go down to the lobby.
The location is quite good within walking distance to the city center. However, there are no shops nearby, so you’ll need to walk to the city center to find food (especially halal options) or go to a mart.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. While it's a little over 1 km from the train station, trams 11 and 14 will take you directly to the hotel in just three stops. They provide real-time tram information in the lobby, and rooms even come with a printed weekly weather forecast, demonstrating excellent attention to detail. Although the breakfast selection isn't vast, the quality is remarkably high. As an established hotel, it's a superb choice for anyone visiting Zurich.

The hotel is very close to Zurich Main Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The exterior is quite nice, and it even has a Swiss flag.
Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The decor in the hallways is quite stylish.
Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good.
Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close.
Service: There was a chocolate left on the bedside table. The front desk staff were quite welcoming and spoke excellent English when I checked out and stored my luggage.

Breakfast buffet very limited. Hot water, ham and coffee need to be order through the waitress. I took a fresh plate and found debris on top, clearly not washed at all, check before using the plate. No guest card provided.
Good thing is hotel is very near tram to central station. They allow guest to take mineral water from the counter each day. If you have takeaway food, also allowed to use their dining area

The hotel is self-check in, Ctrip did not send a reservation number starting with 4, resulting in the need to contact the hotel staff to check in. The location of the hotel is not close to the train station, it takes 10 minutes to walk or take the tram. But at this price, there are not many choices in Zurich, but fortunately the hotel is clean and business trips are ok.

Let me give an objective review of this hotel.
**Pros:**
1. **Cleanliness:** The hygiene is excellent; it's very well-cleaned, and the bedding is super comfortable. The large bed is very soft.
2. **Service:** The service is very thoughtful. The front desk offers free water and ice cream, with a choice of sparkling water or mineral water. The minibar in the room is also complimentary.
3. **Breakfast:** The breakfast is quite good with a wide variety of options, and the à la carte breakfast is a nice touch.
4. **Location:** The location is not far from the train station and very close to ETH Zurich, making it convenient for sightseeing.
**Cons:**
1. **Room Amenities:** The room doesn't have air conditioning, only a fan. However, the overall temperature here is generally fine, so it didn't greatly affect my sleep. This really depends on personal preference.
2. **Noise:** Due to its convenient location, it can be quite noisy at night. There are bars and cafes nearby, so it gets lively. Again, this depends on the individual; younger people might not mind, but older guests who go to bed early should be aware.
3. **Church Bells:** There's a church nearby with bells that chime every 15 minutes: one chime at quarter past, two chimes at half past, and three chimes at quarter to the hour.

A wonderful hotel in Zurich with an excellent location, just a short walk from the main railway station, central markets, and key city attractions. The service quality is outstanding, with very attentive staff and a high level of customer loyalty, making you feel truly welcome from the very first moment. I will definitely stay here again. I also highly recommend paying attention to the pavilion located next to the hotel, where they prepare exceptional risotto — a true gastronomic delight.

JJudgeJustinAfter surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.”
The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze.
The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience.
If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!)
We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

Near to Zurich HB about 10 mins walk from station. We were carrying 2 large suitcases only had 1 challenging point where we needed to carry them up a flight of stairs on the way to the hotel from the train station.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is how central it is. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it ideal if you’re arriving late, leaving early, or just want easy access to transport. It’s also within walking distance of the Old Town, shops, and restaurants, so you can explore the city without needing to rely on public transport.
The room itself was quite basic but clean and functional. It had everything needed for a short overnight stay, even if it didn’t feel particularly modern or luxurious. For me, that wasn’t an issue as I was only there for one night and mainly needed somewhere comfortable to sleep.
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but there are plenty of cafés and bakeries nearby if you prefer to eat out.
I would recommend Hotel Limmathof if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located hotel in Zurich for a short stay. It’s not about luxury, but it offers convenience, cleanliness, and good access to everything you need in the city.

GGuest UserThe first day when we arrived on the 13th of August , the guy at the front desk was very friendly and polite.The hotel is located near tram and train station and bus station so it is was very convenient to go anywhere. Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport .
Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor,dirty sink,and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. No tv channels. Hotel service is below standard.
