The hotel's location is pretty good, very close to the scenic area, just a few minutes drive away. My friends and I came to Guilin for a trip and after comparing several hotels, we decided on this one. It exceeded our expectations! The dry and wet separation design is very thoughtful, and the mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard. I had a great night's sleep and felt refreshed. They also have a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for lazy people like us, haha. The snacks and coffee in the lobby are good too!

This hotel was absolutely the right choice. To put it simply, while it's not a new hotel, it's incredibly well-maintained. The lobby is beautiful, and the reception staff are professional and incredibly attentive. They were always helpful, answering all our questions and resolving any issues we encountered during our stay. The rooms are very spacious, and all the amenities are clean and hygienic. The interior decor is well-preserved, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. The floor-toceiling windows offer fantastic views. The rooftop dining room has an amazing view; we ate there two out of three nights. The prices were even better than the local restaurants outside. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – their service was exceptional!

Hidden in the city, a hundred years of nostalgia. When you arrive in Guilin, you have to live in this scenery. The hotel is located in the Seven Star Scenic Area on the east bank of the Li River in the center of Guilin. It is named after the seven peaks arranged like the Big Dipper hanging high in the sky, which brings together Guilin's "leisure (green mountains, beautiful waters, unique caves, and beautiful stones), romance, and passion". It is the coordinates of Guilin's cultural landscape, a recommended scenic spot by the World Tourism Organization, a national key scenic spot, and one of China's first 4A level scenic spots. There is a century old famous building in the scenic area. After careful renovation, it shines with new brilliance. The hotel has three floors in total and cannot install elevators due to architectural layout issues. The hotel is named after the "Crescent Moon" personally nominated by the renowned scholar Mr. Guo Moruo. It retains the original historical appearance and has been carefully renovated into guest rooms with different styles. It is simple yet elegant, as the saying goes, leaving the hustle and bustle of the world and choosing to live in an art house. All french window in the room and the huge wooden terrace make you feel as if you live in the scenery. From the hotel, you can walk to popular classic attractions in the city center. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the east bank of the Li River and Jiefang Bridge, and about 10 minutes to reach Dongxi Lane, Xiaoyao Tower, and Cross Street. Famous scenic spots such as Elephant Trunk Hill, Jingjiang Wangfu, Fubo Mountain, and Mulong Lake are scattered around, making travel convenient. To comply with the management of the Seven Star Scenic Area Park, all vehicles are not allowed to enter the park and reach the hotel. Vehicles can be parked in the parking lot next to the park gate. At the same time, the hotel provides 24-hour electric scooter shuttle service within the park. For more information, please call us.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They patiently guided us to the parking lot and even had an attendant park our car for free. Overall, the environment is quite good. There's Seven Star Park nearby, and plenty of snack shops around. Transportation is also convenient. The lobby fragrance is quite pleasant. The service is proactive, warm, and polite. They are diligent and responsible, asking about your needs in advance and trying their best to accommodate them. It's quite suitable for business trips. The room space is ample, it's very quiet at night, and the cleanliness is excellent. Although the facilities aren't brand new, you can tell they put effort into maintenance and upkeep. The breakfast offers Guilin rice noodles, which taste decent, although the selection isn't extensive, the flavor is good. Breakfast runs until 11 AM, which is a big plus! The hotel has robots, making it very convenient for ordering takeout. I chose this hotel randomly, and the price was great during the off-season. The hotel has parking, which is convenient if you're driving, and it offers great value for money. I really like Guilin, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

The environment was great, and parking was convenient. The hotel staff even proactively helped with our luggage. There were also plenty of dining options nearby. The only minor inconvenience was going up and down the stairs; even though they helped with luggage, it still felt a bit tiring to navigate them, especially when coming and going. It was my first time trying golf, and the coach gave me a quick guide, then I just played through the rest of my session.

As a senior member of IHG, Accor, and Shangri-La, I stay in many hotels every year, but this was the first time a hotel called me before check-in to explain the pros and cons of different room types based on my booking request – truly astonishing! Upon arrival, a dedicated staff member showed me various rooms, clearly detailing the advantages and disadvantages of each. When the reserved room type had less than ideal availability in terms of floor and orientation, they generously upgraded my room. Although the hotel is over ten years old, it's still well-maintained. The lobby's decor and design are excellent, with a distinctive charm. The materials used in the room's decoration and the quality of the linens are also good, showing that they spared no expense back in the day. Some room types feature a separate toilet room, which is a fantastic design as it keeps showering and using the toilet separate and reduces odors in the room. The shower water pressure is also very strong, which I really appreciated. The hotel clearly pays great attention to operational details. For example, light switches are tied to the lamps with zip ties, making them easy to find and operate without fumbling along the wires. Air conditioner vents have deflectors to prevent direct drafts, something many hotels ten times more expensive don't offer. Plus, every evening, a special herbal tea is delivered to the room, and after check-in, they send recommendations for good nearby restaurants via WeChat. The hotel's location isn't in the absolute core of the tourist area, but it's not far either. You can walk to Seven Star Crags, and while it might take a bit longer, it helps avoid the dense holiday crowds. Two large shopping malls and Shijiayuan Food Street are within walking distance, making dining and shopping very convenient. A small, unassuming steakhouse near the hotel is a hidden gem for meat lovers. However, close to the hotel, in Jiatiashang Square, residents sing until past 10 PM, which can be a bit disruptive, though acceptable. Higher floors facing east and south offer better views. The view from the rooftop infinity pool is excellent; I only looked at it this time and didn't get a chance to swim. The breakfast has a strong local flavor, and the oil tea and rice noodles are just as good as those from old street stalls. Western options could be improved, and the table and chair arrangement feels a bit cramped and could be optimized. I'd suggest either removing or lowering the elevator's arrival chime, as it can be a bit disturbing for rooms located near the elevators.

The location is perfect, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is right in the city center of Qixing District, Guilin. Downstairs, you'll find a bustling commercial area, making dining and shopping super easy. It's just a short taxi ride (starting fare) to major attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Star Park, and East and West Alleys. The location is truly unbeatable! Grand design, quality in the details. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was drawn to the high ceilings and modern, artistic design. The fragrance, lighting, and background music in the public areas were all perfectly balanced, creating a sense of calm yet relaxation. Room experience: smart, comfortable, and with great views. The room was very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The mattress was just right in terms of softness and provided excellent support. The room was equipped with a smart control system, allowing easy adjustment of lights, curtains, and air conditioning. There was also a mini-fridge and a capsule coffee machine – attention to detail was evident. I particularly want to highlight their dining! Breakfast: It's a semi-buffet with a wide selection of Chinese and Western options. I highly recommend the freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles station, where you can add as many toppings as you like. The taste is as good as any old local shop! The croissants and desserts in the bakery section were also outstanding. Executive Lounge: Open to high-tier members and executive room guests, the afternoon tea and happy hour offerings were exquisite. It's quiet with fewer people, making it suitable for business meetings or simply unwinding. Overall, this was an experience that exceeded my expectations. Guilin Qixing Holiday Hotel not only boasts excellent facilities but also leaves a lasting impression on guests with its warm and attentive service. Whether for business or leisure, this is a choice you can't go wrong with.

JJingcaixiaoyaojingThe room was quite spacious and had a balcony with a glimpse of the Li River, which was a pleasant surprise. The room facilities were well-planned and functional. The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy – perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day – definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

GGuest UserGuangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

What I like most of this accommodation is their personal service. Their staff is always there taking care of us- with your info, and helping with luggages and booking. They don't charge commission in booking show for us, e. g. Siu Tao is the best, a natural in service industry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

AAnonymous UserA trainee checked us in and assigned #1005. Upon entering, we noticed a strong cigarette odor. The front desk was courteous and offered two alternative rooms, but both had similar lingering smells. Housekeeping provided an air purifier, which helped somewhat. We also observed guests smoking in the hallway, so the odor seems to be an ongoing issue. As non-smokers who are sensitive to smoke, this was a significant drawback and not something we typically encounter with international hotel brands. There was also some confusion during payment. After showing us the rooms, the trainee realized we had not been charged and brought a POS machine to the room, which did not have a signal. We eventually had to go downstairs and complete three separate transactions via Alipay. Note that Alipay charges a ~3% service fee on transactions over ¥200 when using international cards, which may be inconvenient for some travelers. I have been using my Visa at global hotel brands for over a month and encountered no issues. One frustrating moment was when housekeeping insisted there was no cigarette odor. We understand that perceptions may differ, but it’s important to acknowledge guest feedback, especially for those sensitive to smoke. The bed was comfortable, and sound insulation was average. Despite being on the 10th floor, we could hear traffic noise as well as our neighbors talking and moving furniture. Wi-Fi was also quite slow (2.4 GHz only), with speeds in the teens for both upload and download. Light switches were complicated with options like London, Paris. New York, etc. The hotel isn't a new built and used to be another hotel as you can see from their mugs, towels, etc. Note to myself to book for newly built, not newly opened. The hotel offered us a complimentary breakfast on the 12th floor. The selection was primarily Chinese (about 95%), with minimal Western options. None of the items were labeled, which could be challenging for international guests and those with dietary restrictions. Laundry service is available, either self-service or through staff. However, communication was difficult and the interaction felt unnecessarily complicated. The staff who collected our clothes was talking so loudly that my husband thought we were arguing. In hindsight, we should have done the laundry ourselves The hotel is within a 10 minute walking distance to a food street that has tons of eateries that locals go. It will be difficult to order in non Chinese. Overall, the hotel does not appear to cater well to non-Chinese-speaking guests. Per my husband, despite using the translation app, basic requests (asking for an umbrella) were difficult without Mandarin, which made the experience more tiring. During check out, the front desk offered some dried fruit as a gift and reminded us to give a 5 star rating on everything. This is a common request as we experienced it at a previous hotel. This is our 4th local hotel throughout the 6 weeks visit in China. In summary, while the stay was acceptable, the persistent cigarette odor and communication challenges would prevent us from choosing a similar local hotel again.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment is comfortable, and both the open-air pool on the ninth floor and the terrace offer beautiful views. The staff are proactive and friendly, always trying their best to assist with any requests. The front desk provides free tea and fruit, and a simple late-night snack is offered in the evenings. The hotel even gave us a mugwort meridian hammer as a souvenir. What I liked most was the laundry service; they wash and dry your clothes and then deliver them to your room door, saving a lot of time and hassle – very thoughtful. Transportation is also convenient; it's not far to take a taxi to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and you can rent electric bikes nearby. The breakfast selection is rich and delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

GGuest UserYangshuo Accommodation | The Ultimate Value-for-Money Gem on West Street – You Won't Believe It! 😭 Seriously, to everyone visiting Yangshuo, listen up! Don't just pick any hotel! I've stumbled upon BO·PO Hotel, and it's an absolute must-stay! Location and experience both get a perfect 100% 💯 It's hands down the best option for accommodation when exploring West Street!! Who can resist the joy of West Street being right at your doorstep?! The hotel is right in the heart of West Street, literally steps away from snack streets, creative shops, night markets, and bars. You can easily find Beer Fish, Luosifen (snail noodles), and all sorts of Yangshuo specialty snacks just by walking out. When you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to the hotel and relax, no need for a long trek back – it's incredibly convenient 🥳 What truly blew me away was the unique tranquility amidst the bustling city. Downstairs, West Street is buzzing with lively energy, but inside the room, it's incredibly quiet. The soundproofing is amazing; you can't hear any of the street noise. You can lie in bed and peacefully admire the stunning karst peaks. Enjoying the lush green mountains by day and drifting off to sleep in silence at night truly elevates the vacation vibe ✨ The location is truly unparalleled! For all my sisters planning a trip to Yangshuo and wanting to stay on West Street, just blindly book this one! Style, location, service, and value for money – it's got it all. GGuest User”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

MManmandianxiaThis family-friendly hotel in Yangshuo truly deserves all the praise! We stayed in the family balcony suite, and it was so spacious that our child immediately started running around excitedly upon entering. It even came with a small tent and a building block table. With a large balcony and two bathrooms, our family of four was super comfortable, and my parents had their own private space. The room featured a king-sized bed and two single beds, plus four complimentary breakfasts – so convenient and great value. The hotel really pays attention to family-friendly details: there's an indoor kids' play area and they gave us 20 game tokens, which kept our child entertained for hours. The bedside tables have wireless chargers, so no more searching for cables. The balcony has a drying rack and a rattan swing chair, making laundry super easy. Plus, there's free underground parking and EV charging spots, so driving here is stress-free. And the 'Sky Realm' on the rooftop? Absolutely stunning for photos! The mirrored installation reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and the mountains of Yangshuo, making every shot look like a magazine cover. It's also just a 10-minute walk to West Street, which is super convenient for trying beer fish and exploring the night market. If you're coming to Yangshuo with kids, just book this place – you won't regret it!

GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us. 🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂 🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full! 🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time! 👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!
