"The campus hotel is very simple and the bed is basic with only a tiny quilt for a so-called king sized bed. You hear every noise of the neighbors. It is really not a hotel for travelers, just ok for a meeting at FU Berlin. The breakfast is ok. Outside it looks kind of fancy!"

XXiaolankuangziChoosing the DoubleTree by Hilton is always a good decision. The hotel is perfectly situated right on Kurfürstendamm, with a large Asian supermarket nearby, plenty of restaurants, and within walking distance to both metro and train stations. There's complimentary water refill available on every floor, and the bedding in the rooms is excellent. My only minor suggestion would be for a wider variety at breakfast.

XXC租车很不优The room has excellent natural light, and the location is fantastic. The service attitude is also top-notch. I'll definitely choose to stay at SANA again when I come back to Berlin! It's about a five-minute walk to the subway station, and it's very quiet at night. The in-room coffee machine is also super good.

RRPSMWe recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay.
Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed.
However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers.
This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature.
It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room.

Conclusion:

AAnonymous UserPerfectly located — within easy walking distance to most major sights in Mitte like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Philharmonic, and Checkpoint Charlie. For places a bit further out, there’s a train station right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around effortless. There’s even a dm grocery store just a minute’s walk away, which was super convenient.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a full set of amenities provided from the start — something surprisingly rare in Europe. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserGreat location and well-equipped, including a small kitchenette (though no chef!). The best part was the air conditioning – it was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Excellent value for money. Self-check-in and check-out were convenient. It's right on the border between A and B zones for the subway, and it's only a ten-minute walk if you need to catch a train. There's a large mall nearby with a food court, supermarket, and DM, making it super easy to stock up on essentials. I felt quite safe, as the area is all residential.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. GGuest UserEverything was great! The location is convenient — you can quickly get to any metro station by tram. There is an option to borrow dishes and everything you need for a deposit, which is later returned. It’s clean and comfortable. The only downside is that there are no air conditioners in the rooms.

TTFH1976For the price paid, the Homaris WestSide is actually good to very good. Unfortunately, when we stay in one of the suites, some things have not worked as they should.
Negative:
- TV in both rooms is not working restricted or not.
- The lead track of the darkness hang in the ” living room” with a sofa is damaged and insufficiently flicked with a tape, which hangs the hang to the side of almost everyone from the wing and with the help of a bank back into the Leading must be sworn if you want it to be dark at night.
- A bed lamp doesn't work in the bedroom.
- There is a discharge on the toilet that does not seem new, at least the calcify storage in the fugs under and before the toilet indicates that.
Positive:
- Breakfast buffet is very good for the money.
- The double bed and also the bed sofa were comfortable.
