"The hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet. It features just 5 villas sharing a common pool. We specifically chose this hotel for its peaceful ambiance and low crowd density, wanting tranquility after our excursions. It's a convenient 15-minute walk from the T-Rex cliff, or Kelingking Beach as the locals call it. We took an evening stroll there, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. There's even a cafe with panoramic vistas. Along the way, you'll find several restaurants and warungs offering fresh seafood. We returned to our villa after dark. The villa itself is spotless, and the pool is equally clean and inviting. Another reason we picked this location was the opportunity to visit the beach early in the morning, around 7:00-8:00 AM, before the tourist rush. We descended to the beach, which took about 30 minutes. We're quite active, so the descent wasn't an issue for us, despite some sections having a steep 45-60 degree incline. There were hardly any people around in the morning. The first tourists started arriving around 8:30-8:40 AM. If you're planning to go, make sure to factor in enough time to climb back up before 9:00 AM, as the narrow path in some areas makes it difficult for many people to go up and down simultaneously. The photos of the villas on the website are completely accurate. We had breakfast at a restaurant at the location itself, even though breakfast was included at the hotel (they offered to bring it to the villa, but we declined). Now, regarding getting around the island. When we booked our villa, we messaged the property to inquire about the possibility of arranging a guide with a private car. They confirmed it was possible and offered us options for two days, providing a total cost that included airport transfer to the hotel and pick-up from the boat station. We arrived at 9:20 AM, and our guide-driver was already waiting for us. He immediately took us on our first excursion to Manta Point. We went snorkeling again and saw a huge reef manta ray. We were sent videos and photos via a Google Drive link. After returning to our starting point, the guide picked us up and took us to other locations. The roads are very narrow, with barely enough space for cars to pass each other, so hiring a guide-driver was definitely the best decision. By 4:45 PM, we were back at the hotel. On the way, we asked the driver to stop for lunch. He patiently waited for us while we ate. We paid for all his services and all the excursions, including Manta Point, only upon checking out at the hotel. No one asked for upfront payment or transfers, which we greatly appreciated – a big thank you to the hotel manager for that. We are extremely satisfied with the hotel and their hospitality. I give them top marks across the board."

"A wonderful, amazing hotel! I recommend it to everyone! The staff are pleasant and friendly. You can confidently approach them; they'll help with any question. The grounds are beautiful, and there's a pool with a view of the flora. The room is clean, the only downside being that the water doesn't drain quickly, so a puddle forms in the bathroom. The breakfasts are delicious and hearty, and in general, all the food from the menu is 'finger-licking good'. We loved the hotel so much that we ended up staying for 5 nights when we had only planned for 2 :)"

"An exceptional stay from start to finish. The panoramic sunrise and sunset views are absolutely breathtaking, creating a truly unforgettable experience. We were so captivated by the beauty and tranquility of this place that we extended our stay without hesitation. My only advice is to book more nights than you originally planned—you'll almost certainly find yourself wanting to stay longer."

"The hotel is a bit run down (doors are tricky to close, the sink has mold), but it's livable. The location is excellent, with the eponymous beach just a 5-minute walk away. The service, however, definitely lags: we had to wake someone up to order breakfast, and the dishes from breakfast weren't cleared all day. Upon check-in, there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. Though, when there were power issues, they did provide a flashlight. Regarding hotel services, the owner can indeed arrange anything from port transfers to island tours, but be prepared to pay a hefty price (350k for a transfer to the port). There are no taxis on Nusa Penida, so locals take advantage of the fact that you have no other options."

"Roots Dive & Yoga was a pleasant surprise. Went during wet season, so it felt more like a quiet retreat than a dive center — calm, uncrowded, no chaos. Great location up in the hills with a view of Batur across the strait — sunsets are unreal. Didn’t dive, but the yoga alone made it worth it. The teacher was excellent — mixing styles each day, keeping it engaging without going too “spiritual.” Good balance of physical work and actual reset. Overall vibe is low-pressure. You can follow the flow or just do your own thing. Also a really solid restaurant by Bali standards. Appreciated the late checkout — small detail, but says a lot. Net: great off-season spot to reset. Would come back."

"I do recommend this hotel. The service is fine and attentive. Minuses: the road to the hotel is bad and risky if it is raining. Of course you should take a bike. Otherwise taxis. There’s no beach. It was predictable. I thought it has stunning sunsets with Agung Mountain View, but the sunset is on the left side if you stay at the balcony or at the restaurant. It was my wrong expectations. Pluses: the servicemen are very attentive and disciplined. The restaurant cuisine is good due to other’s Bali hotels where we stayed at. Stunning ocean and Agung Mountain View."

"This cliffside hotel in Bali exceeded all expectations! It faces the entire Indian Ocean directly, and the infinity pool and sunset viewing deck offer amazing photo opportunities. A 24-hour butler is always available, and they can communicate in simple Chinese, which was a huge plus. The room was decorated with frangipani flowers daily, and all toiletries were well-stocked. There's even a thoughtful turndown service in the evening. You could easily spend an entire day here and not get bored. It's definitely the top choice for couples on their honeymoon."

"Friendly staff, shout out to Andy he is the best cook!! The room was perfectly clean, nice linen and bed. Aircon worked properly. We had a little kitchenette which was a surprise, basic but practical. Concerning the location, it depends what you are after. It has a walking distance to kelingking base, 30 min walk with little hills ups and downs . Perfect if you are planning on going for sunrise which we STRONGLY recommend. This is located just in the middle between turtle bay and kelingking. If you don’t want to walk you can rent a motorbike for 100k the day with the staff. Nice pool, rooftop dinner is currently in reparations and they are still constructing close to the rooms so some strong noise during nap time is to be expected. Overall great experience and we recommend!! :) thank you guys for this nice stay."
