Pros: The room was relatively clean, and the bed was quite large. They provided towels and air conditioning, and there were international power outlets. When the weather was good, the pool behind the front desk looked beautiful. Cons: Book much earlier! December is more expensive. What I couldn't stand the most was the old shower equipment; the water pressure was extremely low. It was just a small Haier water heater, topping out at 55 degrees Celsius, and it would trip frequently. I almost couldn't shower at night. It's incomparable to a 600 RMB hotel in China. For this price, you could stay in a much better-rated hotel. If you have high standards for accommodation quality, I suggest looking elsewhere. You can make do if you're not too picky, I guess. They will charge a 1000 THB deposit, which is refunded only after they inspect the room upon check-out.

After reading reviews calling it a ”budget gem,” I can confirm it's true! The room was spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. What impressed me most were the details: the powerful hot shower, the highly effective air conditioning, and the genuinely warm and helpful staff. They not only helped book tours but also offered practical advice for avoiding tourist traps. Located on bustling Nanai Road, you have everything you need at your doorstep, yet you can still get a quiet night's sleep. If you believe your money should be spent on experiences, not just a place to sleep, this is the perfect choice.

I had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was nice but quite small, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast, in particular, was absolutely exceptional, one of the highlights. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience: 1. Hot water wasn’t available in the mornings when you typically need it the most. 2. The water pressure was quite low until the maintenance team came to fix it. 3. The washroom also had a constant unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. 4. Additionally, the boxing arena right in front of the hotel created a lot of noise, especially during the evenings. 5. We had to ask for a few amenities (soap and slippers) Overall, it wasn’t the most comfortable stay, but you do get what you pay for. Because of the helpful staff and outstanding breakfast, I’m giving this hotel a positive rating.

Although the hotel is a bit old, it didn't affect my stay at all. First, I was lucky enough to meet a front desk lady who spoke Chinese. She asked me if I only booked for one night. I said I'd see how it goes, and if it was good, I'd extend my stay. I originally booked a room facing the street, but she upgraded me to one overlooking the swimming pool, which was very quiet! I then extended my stay for 6 nights! It's very close to Patong Beach and Bangla Road, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. Why did I stay for so many days? Because it offers great value for money! I went island hopping during my stay and just came back to sleep at night, mainly for the convenience! I would definitely choose this hotel again next time. The hotel is very clean, and the service is also very good! The airport bus drops you off right at the hotel entrance for 100 Baht.

The room was very mediocre, like something you'd find for 100 RMB in China. The toilet's placement was awkward, right next to the sink, so you had to stand to the side to wash your face. I booked a balcony room, but it was just a 60-70cm wide strip with a road right outside – a total rip-off. The highlights of this hotel are the excellent rooftop pool and its fantastic location. It's only a few hundred meters' walk to Patong Beach, and there are plenty of restaurants and 7-Elevens nearby. The downside: It's incredibly noisy. Maybe it's my first time staying in Patong, but the motorcycles and tuk-tuks outside roared all night long; it felt like they were right next to my ear. I had to ask for earplugs the second night, which helped me get through it. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. But if you sleep soundly and enjoy the lively atmosphere, then this hotel might be for you.

The room's location was perfect, and it was very quiet at night. Previous trips to Phuket, I've always stayed somewhere a bit noisy. Since prices were too high during peak season, I booked a family room to stay with my parents. It's not far to walk to Patong Beach for New Year's celebrations. This place is great for island hopping (I recommend staying a few days on Racha Island and Phi Phi Islands), so you don't really need a pool on the main island. As long as it's a good place to stay, eat, and close enough to wander around the lively areas, it's perfect. The owner's service was excellent, and they responded quickly. We even forgot our passports when we spontaneously went to King Power and couldn't buy anything, but the owner immediately had staff go back to the room to take pictures for us.

There is no hair dryer in the room. And very uncomfortable stairs. It was hard to bring the luggage to the 5th floor and hard to bring it down. Also you plan your day not to come back to the room too often because of those stairs 🤣 7/11 is on the corner , bit need to cross the road. It's bot super loud from the road even my balcony was facing the main road. If it's a room for 2 why, don't you bring 2 similar plastic chairs to the balcony?))) After all for this price it was okay. If price would be higher, I wouldn't stay without an elevator, a hairdryer, and a pool, and there is a reconstruction next door, all the building being under renovation , so it's very noisy all day long.

GGuest UserWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty. The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7. Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget. Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughter’s talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.

AAnonymous UserThe resort isn't very big, a rectangular area, and the villa section takes up a significant portion, so there's limited space for activities. BUT! There's a beautiful, uncrowded beach, haha! The coastline is very long, which is a huge plus. The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a mix of new and old. For instance, some of the bathroom fixtures are clearly old, but the doors, windows, and furniture look new. At the very least, the grout and wall seams have been redone and look pristine. The air conditioning is incredibly efficient, and the room is well-insulated – even after being out with the power off for half the day, it's still chilly when you come back in. The room provides a clothes drying rack on the balcony for dripping wet clothes and swimsuits, which is a thoughtful touch. However, the BBQ buffet dinner, which costs over 2000 THB per person, doesn't include any basic beverages, only water. The BBQ items are so few you can count them on one finger, non-BBQ items on another finger, and desserts/fruits on a third finger. There were only two or three seafood options. My child is sensitive, so after removing what they couldn't eat, spicy dishes, and disliked flavors, there was almost nothing left! Can you believe we couldn't find two dishes they'd dare to eat from the entire buffet? The breakfast selection is much richer than the dinner buffet, and it's only a quarter of the price... but the dishes were exactly the same every day. After two days, we started missing 7-Eleven. This isn't some isolated island with supply difficulties; would it be so hard to come up with more rotating menus? Please offer more variety for guests staying multiple nights.

EES SoHad a great time while staying at Noku, super b Villa Mint is big and comfortable to stay with friends and family. It even includes snack, fruit and drinks in villa which are complimentary for us to enjoy when we stay by the private pool. Very enjoyable and pleasant! The breakfast at the hotel is a highlight during our stay. It was served in buffet style with egg and noodles station. Although the selection is not super wide, it’s more than enough to enjoy as the quality and the freshness of the food are above average, some of them even exceeded our expectations. Overall, we enjoyed the moment at the hotel so much and we will definitely coming back for vacation again ❤️

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

BBozhi5XThis hotel is excellent; every time I visit Phuket, I stay here. It's a Banyan Tree branded apartment-hotel, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. You can dine at the hotel or cook your own meals in the room, which is very convenient! This was my first time back since the pandemic, and I feel like the Laguna complex (where the hotel is located) and the town outside have improved significantly. There are many more restaurants, bars, and cafes, and a large new shopping mall has been built. The area is filled with European and American guests, offering global cuisine plus a vibrant Thai nightlife – truly an ideal holiday destination! Coming in December, the weather is particularly comfortable, not hot in the mornings or evenings; it's probably the best season in Thailand. Laguna, the largest resort in Asia, features 12 Banyan Tree branded hotels, all connected by a lagoon. Ferry boats can transport guests from one hotel to another's private beach, as well as to other hotels, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful views of the Andaman Sea, and access various hotel restaurants, spas, and golf courses. The most important thing is the exceptional sense of safety and peace of mind guests experience!

Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach – just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave! The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

XXiaolian2019We actually stayed here for five consecutive days! It was a very pleasant stay, and I really wanted to write more! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The owner is Chinese and has been consistently upgrading the linens. The service was attentive; one night, our Indian neighbors were on a loud call at 2:30 AM, and the owner, contacted via WeChat, promptly resolved the issue! The guesthouse environment is very comfortable, with squirrels, cats 🐱, and other small animals! The sea is right outside the door, as is a local night market! The food stalls at the entrance are also affordable and delicious 😋! I loved it! And for only two to three hundred during peak season, the price is unbeatable!!

The location is very far from central/downtown which is why it is very peaceful to stay here. The rooms are slightly outdated, but they are kept very clean so the outdated part doesn't feel much. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Overall its a nice resort to stay for a short while as it is quite far. Cons - For the 4days we stayed there, we did not like the breakfast as much. The breakfast area and view was very good, but every time we went for breakfast - it was always served cold. No matter we went early or late for breakfast, the food was always cold. There is a lot of variety in breakfast but none of them tasted good because it was always cold or not warm enough. The resort is really very far - around 1hrs 20min from the main tourist areas like Kata, Patong and Karon beach, so if you are planning to travel to these places - plan accordingly. As it is expensive and far to travel back to the resort. Also since it is far - there is no market or small shops nearby the hotel that you can walk up to in the evening. The only choice is to stay at the resort, swimming pool or inside the resort because the road that drives up to the resort is quite steep to walk. Overall it was a comfortable stay but it was a bit of hassle with the breakfast and travel back to the resort. This is why I am giving 4stars.
