Hotels near Wat Khao Chedi, Koh Samui

Great place to stay if you want peace and away from the busy streets and nightlife! We extended our stay because we felt so relaxed here! Consider renting a bike or car to get around the island as it’s not close to anything by foot. Thank you for your excellent hospitality and service.

A peaceful and private getaway surrounded by nature. The staff and owner were very friendly, and the cottage bungalow was cozy and cool at night without needing aircon. Convenient location near Chaweng and Lamai, perfect for anyone who loves a quiet escape.

It is a resort in the city center that still feels very close to nature. Usually, the city is mostly buildings, but this place has a lot of trees, which I personally really like. The room comes with hot water and a TV, and there is an outdoor area where guests can smoke or just sit and relax while looking at a small reservoir within the resort. The only downside is that since it is in the city, traveling to Koh Samui takes quite a long time and can be expensive.

We booked a room for three people and overall had a pleasant stay. The air-conditioning was very cold and worked well, which made the room comfortable. However, the bathroom/shower area was quite small and a bit uncomfortable to use. One nice feature is the veranda, where you can relax and hang out outside. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is a plus. The location is great,it’s very close to Natien Beach, just a short walking distance. In the evening, it’s lovely to hang out by the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early since we arrived ahead of time, which we really appreciated. The hotel WiFi is strong and available in every corner of the property. Overall, a good stay with excellent service and location.

The hotel is located a bit outside the town, so renting a scooter is definitely recommended. The address on Trip is unfortunately incorrect; we relied on Google Maps for directions. When we arrived, we couldn't find anyone at first, as there was no reception, even though we had communicated our arrival time in advance via message. After about 15 minutes, we found someone who took us by scooter to Hut Village, which is only a 2-minute walk away. The bungalow itself has everything you need, and we cooked there several times. The garden is clean, but not as nice as we had expected from other reviews. There are many animals in the area, which can be quite noisy. The bed was okay, but the pillows were thin and hard. There's a coin-operated washer (30 baht) and plenty of space to hang laundry. There are a few mini-markets and some scooter rental shops nearby. The beach is unfortunately difficult to access, as the entire area in front is built up and all the paths are private. However, if you're looking for peace and relaxation for a few days, it's definitely recommended.

The hotel/resort is located on a beautiful beach section that you have almost alone. Swimming is not so good because the water is very flat (insb at Ebbe). Service is super and the hotel restaurant is also good.

Excellent value for money, and the view is absolutely stunning! The staff are lovely, and the air conditioning is wonderfully cool. I'll definitely be back!

Endroit calme ou l’on se sent comme à la maison. Nous avions un scooter et c’était parfait pour faire notre vie. Établissement propre avec toutes les commodité nécessaires à un bon séjour. Même de quoi laver son linge et des étendoirs à disposition

Small, I would even say, cramped bungalows for two guests. However, everything you need for a short trip to Koh Samui is there - air conditioning, clean linen, a dryer for swimsuits, a small balcony, hot water in the shower (only the pressure was rather weak). We were here for 3 nights, and that’s enough, but if you’re not going for a week or longer, I’d recommend something more spacious. The location is excellent for a relaxing romantic getaway. Beautiful beach and sunsets. It takes 10-15 minutes by bike to get to shops or the night market.

Super relaxing 2 night stay at The Beach. After 10 days travelling through Vietnam we were in need of relaxation and The Beach didn't disappoint. Beautiful second floor room overlooking the beach and sea towards Koh Tan in the distance. Super clean bathroom with double sinks plus double showers! Beautiful big comfy bed with great pillows and excellent quality linen and crunchy duvet - we slept very well indeed. Our room was furnished beautifully with a table set up for in room dining, plus a small kitchen with all needed for cooking small meals if guests wished to do so. Great fridge with complimentary drinking water refreshed daily. Living space with sofa and excellent TV with YouTube, Netflix etc. Nice big balcony with sliding windows that open fully across the full width of the room plus chairs and coffee table for evening relaxing. The piece de resistance is the fabulous egg shaped bath on the balcony, big enough for a cheeky bubble bath soak for 2 ☺️ Thong Krut itself is quiet by day and by night with little activity but the boats going to/from Pig Island etc. Some excellent Thai restaurants very close by plus a growing selection of French/European restaurants to choose from. If you're looking for a spot to relax, chill, enjoy some great food and drink, and let go of the stresses of life then you'll enjoy The Beach very much.
