"I really enjoyed my stay at Heritage Ham Long. The hotel looked exactly as advertised. A small charming boutique hotel, with very nice service. The location is about 25 mins of walking to the Old Quarter area. On rainy days, instead of walking, we could easily book Grab car or Green taxi. The surrounding is safe and convenient, with lots of vegan restaurants nearby (which is a plus point for me), and there is a nearby bus stop. From the beginning, I felt very welcomed by everyone at the front office including Mr. Huy, Mr. Kyan Nam (concierge), Ms. Olivia, Ms. Chi, Mr. Quan Thuy, Mr. Son (concierge), Ms. Lisa (reservation) and basically every staff took care of us very well throughout our stay (including those who are on the night shift, very kind and attentive). Lobby is clean and smelled of fresh flower. The room itself was nice, clean and spacious enough for me and a friend. The only teeny tiny thing mentioned by my friend is that the minibar was not cold compared to the other room (we realized after we checked in the second time), and I’m not sure if the in-room sandals were new or even cleaned after the previous guests; they were not the regular one-time use slippers. Breakfast was nice, just limited vegan options, but still nice. I also truly appreciate the free 30’ sauna and shower at the Spa that was available even after we checked out and that we could store our luggages and use the storage room to pack as long as we needed. Nobody ever rushed us and gave us all the time we needed. Thank you being a nice home in Hanoi."

"Service: I booked two rooms for the exhibition at ICE. The two front desk staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities: The space was adequate for one person, but the sink was too small and water tended to splash out. Of the two rooms I booked, one was a tatami room. The public areas had a woody fragrance, which was a bit too strong for my liking. Location: The location was very convenient. It took 6 minutes by taxi to the ICE Exhibition Center and a few minutes to walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. I didn't book breakfast, but I had some delicious pho at a few shops nearby in the mornings."

"Lily Ahn and Colin Hong were incredibly kind and helpful! The staff were all so friendly and even told us about various discount services, which was a nice bonus. The room condition was great, and the pool and sauna were useful amenities. Although there weren't many shops or stores around the hotel, I liked that the alley itself was quiet."

"The staff here are examplary. I was allowed an early check in and the receptionist gave me a warm greeting. Foyer is in a cool artdeco style . Breakfast was ok with quite a selection of food and drinks . WiFi and A/c (very quiet) worked well. Big TV but only news channels. My room unfortunately was very compact and felt claustrophobic.with no windows and a king size bed that took over the room. Design / layout meant the tea, coffee mini bar could only be accessed by literally squeezing along the bottom of the bed (about 6inches width) and edging sideways. Toilet ,sink shower area were small but door opened into the shower room which meant squeezing around it to get to the toilet ! . I couldn't understand why it was fitted to open that way. No rack or hooks for towels , so I parked them on the top of the toilet until I need them . Shower was..nice and hot . Outlets for charging phone etc didn't have a bedside table . I managed by propping my backpack under the socket. Another feature that could easily be improved. Access to the hotel is down an alleyway. Grab drops you on the main street opposite the alley jfyi. Location is in the French quarter and close to Hoam Kiem lake, so there were some decent restaurants etc Don't think I'd return . Just felt too claustrophobic in that room , but i was travelling solo , so I don't know about bigger , family rooms."

"The room I booked was windowless, which didn't bother me. However, the room size was extremely cramped; there was barely enough space to walk once I opened my 28-inch suitcase. The bathroom was quite spacious, but on the second day, the toilet stopped flushing. This room also lacked a clothes rail, only providing 5 hooks for hanging clothes. Breakfast offered a good variety, including pho, fried rice, toast, and two other side dishes. For eggs, boiled eggs were available, but you could request fried eggs or an omelet. Pho also had to be requested (my friends and I only found this out on our last morning, so we only got to try it then). We checked in very early, as we arrived from Sapa by sleeper bus before 6 AM. Since we couldn't check in yet, we left our luggage and went out for a walk. This hotel is conveniently located near St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake, both within walking distance. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. We wanted to try Nem Nuong, and they recommended a restaurant. We ordered Nem Nuong via Grab and were allowed to eat it in the hotel's dining area. On our last day in Hanoi, the staff even offered airport transfer from the hotel. For the five of us, it cost 350,000 VND, which we felt was a good price. We used the hotel's car service, and it took us directly to Noi Bai Airport with no additional charges beyond what we had already paid the hotel."

"I had a truly wonderful trip! I stayed here for two nights. The first day, as soon as I got out of the car, the bellhop was already at the door to take my luggage, which really surprised me. Gradually, I got used to him opening the door for me every time I left. Sometimes we'd chat, and while waiting for a taxi, he'd ask about my plans for the day. Even though neither of us spoke perfect English, I found this level of service quite rare and impressive. If you book a bigger hotel, you might not get this personal attention, and if you book a smaller one, you might not have this experience at all. This place was just right. Every staff member greeted me with a smile, and the entire hotel smelled lovely. The location is excellent. You can see Hoan Kiem Lake from the front desk. Every evening during my two-day stay, I'd walk around Hoan Kiem Lake from the hotel. Sometimes I'd wander down a side street, but I always found my way back. Downstairs, there's Gong Cha and Mixue Ice Cream, and a bit further on, a Uniqlo and a 7-Eleven, about 200 meters away, which is very convenient. It's also close to Pizza 4P's. However, if you're looking for cheaper pho and similar dishes, you'll need to venture down some side streets, as it's normal for prices to be a bit higher in this central area near the city government. On the second morning, I walked to Train Street, which was about a 15-minute stroll, and it was a pleasant walk. The room had a Lingnan style, with a strong Southeast Asian flair. They provided a fruit plate, tea bags, coffee powder, and two small bottles of water. The front desk lady was especially charming and could speak a little bit of Chinese. On my last day, when I was leaving for the airport, the bellhop even helped me check the taxi fare to make sure I wasn't overcharged, which was incredibly thoughtful. They also gave me a beautiful little wind chime as a souvenir – very memorable! I was still happily reminiscing about my stay while on the Grab ride to the airport."

"The environment here is great, and the room smells lovely. It has a fridge, microwave, and induction hob, which was super convenient for heating up food. We arrived in Hanoi at 5:30 AM, long before check-in, so we walked around for a while. The landlord was really nice and let us check in early. There's also a secure entry system, which made us feel safe. We could do laundry and dry our clothes on the 8th floor. We didn't realize someone was staying in the 8th-floor room at the time, whether it was the landlord or another guest. We ended up doing laundry quite late and made a lot of noise, possibly waking up that lady. We're really sorry about that 😩. There's a 7-Eleven and lots of great food near the hotel. The pho at the corner shop, right turn out of the hotel and at the end of the street, was pretty good (P1). However, the owner was very impatient and unfriendly. The second time we went, I was getting my change ready to pay, and she was so impatient she tried to snatch the money from my hand. I didn't let her, and she basically kicked us out. So, if you plan to go there, have your money ready beforehand. The dim sum at P2 was delicious, and the Saigon iced tea was great too. We spotted it on the way to Pho 10 from the hotel and just popped in – so glad we did, it was unexpectedly good! P3 is a small alley opposite the hotel entrance; the lady there makes amazing noodles and is always so sweet and smiling. All in all, we were very satisfied with this trip! ^_^"

"The hotel is located strategically in the West of Hoan Kiem Lake, putting you on a great spot to explore Old Quarter. The staff members are really nice and hospitable — special highlights to Lyly and James on the night shift for showing us the way around here and for letting me borrow their luggage scale! The room itself is comfortable with just enough space for 2 people, 2 large suitcases, and 2 small suitcases to go around. The mini-fridge is powerful enough to turn your water cold, a critical resource when exploring Hanoi under the summer heat. The breakfast options are good, and their coffee is on the stronger side, which is what you would want from a Vietnamese Coffee. Immediate nearby spots include St. Joseph Cathedral, Cong Ca Phe, Banh Mi Mama, Culcat, Tiredcity. Walk 5-6 mins and you’ll reach Hoan Kiem Lake, UNIQLO, Pizza 4P’s, The Note Coffee, and so many other cafes and restaurants."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at La Sinfonía Majesty Hotel and Spa in Hanoi! The location cannot be beaten — situated in Hoan Kiem district, short walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, cafes and local eateries, perfect for exploring Hanoi. Huge praise for all staff! The front desk team are incredibly warm, attentive and helpful throughout our trip. Special shout-out to the security guard who greeted us warmly and kindly opened doors every single time we came and went. Two absolute highlights: the hotel’s Sky Bar with fantastic city views, and the breakfast buffet — both were flawless. The range of breakfast choices is excellent, including authentic Vietnamese pho and great coffee. We loved winding down each evening at the sky bar. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back on our next visit to Hanoi. Highly recommended for travellers!"

"Little Hanoi Hotel is just opposite Hoan Kiem Lake. Register with the front desk with your passport. The front desk lady can speak English and the service attitude is very good. The rooms are very clean. This is the most impressive thing about Vietnamese hotels. No matter whether they are a family hotel or a star hotel, they are all very clean. I came back from shopping at night. The uncle on duty was not very good at English. I wanted shampoo and shower gel. I just gave a piece of soap, haha! The beauty at the front desk apologized to us when I left the shop the next day. Overall, it was good. In the city center, several surrounding attractions can be completed at once, which is very convenient."
