GGuest UserThe hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com. Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area. Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring. Pros: 1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty. 2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money. 3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English. 4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes. Cons: 1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids. 2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right in the center of town. The room was incredibly spacious and clean, with a great layout, exactly as pictured. Fantastic value for money! The hotel offers a wide range of activities, and the kids' playground is large and very clean. In the evenings, there were cultural performances like iron flower fireworks and the Phoenix Flying to the Sky show in the small plaza. Our kids had two wonderfully fun and fulfilling days.

BBobodaxiaojiejieOur first stop in Changbai Mountain was the newly opened hotel on the West Slope. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up service, which was super convenient as we didn't have to drag our luggage around looking for the hotel. The hotel itself is in a fairly lively area, probably the tallest building in town. The West Slope scenic area was closed, so we spent the afternoon enjoying activities at the forest park not far from the hotel, which was great since they provided shuttle service. Dining and shopping nearby were very convenient; there were restaurants all along the street and a local specialty shop across the road. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but I didn't have high expectations anyway. Ordering takeout was also easy, and a robot would deliver it right to our room.

MM227109****Our family room had two traditional heated beds (kang), which was perfect for letting the kids play around freely – so comfortable! We stayed at the resort for two days and felt it was super suitable for families with children. Right outside our door was a courtyard filled with thick snow, allowing the little ones to play to their heart's content. If we go again, we'll definitely choose Yuangxiang Resort! The environment is absolutely beautiful.

The view from the window directly overlooks a vast forest and mountain range, providing a cool and refreshing escape from the city's heat. The staff were humble and polite, and our butler, Haha, provided attentive guidance throughout our stay, detailing all the resort's activities and amenities. They were quick to respond to any issues, saving us the hassle of figuring things out ourselves. The location is excellent, with all dining, entertainment, and leisure options within easy reach, making getting around very convenient. It's a reliable, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing place, suitable for both group trips and small family vacations. Definitely a trustworthy choice for a relaxing getaway to Changbai Mountain.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay here, and I didn't have any particular expectations. But then Manager Xia sent me photos of the room in advance, which really built up my excitement! A special shout-out to Manager Xia – they helped me arrange my luggage beforehand, which saved me so much time when my flight was delayed, allowing me to still make it to my coach. They also shared weather updates and important tips every day, which was incredibly thoughtful. Thank you! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel was very cheap. Getting around wasn't convenient. Since I visited during the hotel's off-season, there weren't many guests. However, precisely because there weren't many guests, I wish the hotel would pay more attention to room maintenance. When I first entered the room, it felt very run-down, with many stains. There was a large stain visible by the bed, and the floor had obvious moldy black spots. I reported this to the front desk, and they offered a few other rooms to switch to, but after looking at them, none were much better, so I didn't bother changing. At night, when I turned on the TV, there was no signal. And even funnier, when I picked up the remote control, its battery cover was missing, and the batteries were exposed. There were two phones in the room, and one of them was broken. When I turned on the lights at night, the switch panel felt very stiff and jammed when pressed. After pressing it, the switch cover fell off. Can you imagine me staying in an international brand hotel with room conditions like this? The air conditioning was also very loud, humming away. Because there were so few people, breakfast was served as a set menu. While a set menu isn't inherently a problem, if there's less food, couldn't it at least be made better? The sausages were starchy, the bread was very dry, the fried noodles were inedible, and the Chinese pastries were just lukewarm, not hot at all. I hope the hotel can improve, otherwise, it will only get worse and worse.

XXinjinhuangjinguibinhuiyuanFacilities: A bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness: The suite was well-cleaned. Ambiance: Definitely has a vintage feel. Service: Only issue was difficulty changing ski directions. (Birthday cake was pre-ordered, so it was always going to be there, no need for a 'make-up'.) When booking for Xipo, I considered Hyatt and Westin. I can't remember why I chose Hyatt before departing, but it turned out to be a good choice. My flight was delayed from 10:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and as a bonus, I received an extra lounge pass. I have to commend the duty manager; no place is perfect, but their dedication and effort were clear. That's all that matters. This trip to Changbai Mountain, with both my cat and dog, featured beautiful weather at Tianchi. Nature truly provided. Both hotels showed great patience with the elderly, something we younger folks should learn from. For executive breakfast and dinner, the staff at the Club Lounge proactively asked what we'd like to drink (coffee, soft drinks) and helped pour the coffee. The staff member who transferred from Guangzhou later was also excellent. On the last day, the delicious lobster crackers were replaced. The B1 executive breakfast menu rotated every other day, but the executive happy hour buffet menu remained consistent during the off-season. Finally, it would be great if the Samsung TV in the suite allowed free screen mirroring. Luckily, I brought an Android backup. I was worried the staff would be off duty if I tried to figure it out late at night, so I called for help the next day. They did come to set it up, explaining that there's always someone on duty, but it's probably better not to call them late, as everyone wants to get off work early! ^_^
