"The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of a lively and well-known tourist street in Beijing. The area is vibrant, full of life, and close to many restaurants and shops. One of the biggest advantages is that the hotel is extremely close to the metro. This made transportation very easy for me. I was able to reach the zoo and the mall effortlessly, and I didn’t need to use taxis at all because the metro station is very, very close. However, it’s important to note that many of Beijing’s main attractions are spread out and located on the outskirts of the city. While places like the Great Wall are considered part of the Beijing area, they are quite far from the city center and require planning and transportation. That said, the hotel itself is in a very nice and strategic location, especially for those who enjoy staying in a busy, tourist-friendly area. Just make sure to plan your itinerary in advance, as most must-see attractions are not close to each other. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with a fantastic central location."

"Booked this for an early flight out. We were rather surprised with how lux the hotel look and feel. Was warmly welcomed by the staff there and helping with the luggage. Reception staff(sorry didn't get his name) was very friendly and offered a free room upgrade, he patiently explained in detail about the shuttle service to airport and even help to suggest what time i should be down to the lobby accordingly to my flight time. I'm really very pleased with the service. Room was excellent and facing the airport. Upgraded room had a long sofa by the window which comfortably cater to our need of resting in our own space. If the only thing i was pleased about, it would be the pillow. Was expecting a memory pillow instead of the normal pillow for better sleep. Hence i didn't really rest well. But this is all just personal. Supper was also provided and i had this cute bowl of wanton on this cold night. The kitchen staffs are equally friendly! Keep up the good customer service!"

"The rooms are clean, facilities are new, and the staff is very welcoming. You can tell they genuinely want to provide excellent service to every guest. They offer airport shuttle service twice an hour, which is incredibly convenient. If you're driving, you can park here (they have a huge parking lot) and then take the subway into Beijing. The breakfast is clean and tasty; I recommend the steamed buns, noodles, and wontons. It's only 38 per person, and kids eat free. There's an indoor gym, but I'd suggest adding a pair of adjustable dumbbells and a weight bench. Coming from the hotel industry myself, it's truly impressive how well this hotel provides service, given its location and current clientele. Keep up the good work! I saw some negative reviews online before coming, but it seems they've addressed all those issues. Finally, the price is very reasonable. I hope it doesn't increase too much during peak season."

"The location is fantastic, very close to Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. From the 8th floor, you can overlook the entire Forbidden City all the way to Jingshan Park. Yesterday I saw the sunset, and today I witnessed a snow scene, which was absolutely beautiful. Service: The staff (both male and female) were all great, very enthusiastic and polite. On my first night, I encountered small wontons being served around 8 PM, and it seemed like porridge was available throughout the evening. However, the cleanliness was truly a bit disgusting."

"The stay at Jingli Hotel (Beijing Heshenghui Dajiaoting Subway Station Branch) was excellent, comfortable and highly recommended. We stayed at the first level room with a courtyard, it was spacious, clean and well equipped. We can see a bit of snow on the floor. The staff were all very friendly, especially 小石，小颖 , they were attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast is with good spreads. Hotel also provided delicious supper like porridge and fruit every night. Free mineral water, surgical mask, drinks. The hotel’s location is near to the subway, Beijing South Railway Station. The hotel prepared breakfast takeaway when we left at 7am for the high speed train to Hangzhou and this surpised us We were very happy and will definitely stay at this hotel if we visit Beijing again. Thank you."

EElzyataThe location was good. Taxi stops completely not so far away from the hotel. The walk was Ok even with 4 luggages. Breakfast was good (seafood, chicken, pork with veggies, dumplings, croissants, mooncakes, coffee, tea, yogurt). Though, like almost everywhere in China, the taste of fried pork was in all dishes (I guess the oil that is used in cooking is the thing). The territory is nice, the rooms are pretty as well. But be aware that it’s very cold in winter. It was even impossible to take a shower. On the second day the staff increased the temperature till 30*. It was still very very cold, we slept dressed in sweaters😅. It’s worth mentioning that we always returned late and fatigue so we forgot to complain upon the room temperature. So, maybe it could be solved. I guess it should be warmer if you stay in the main building. In the summer the stay must be way better.

It's just a few minutes' walk to both the subway and high-speed train, making it perfect for getting around central Beijing. The service was excellent, and the room was very clean. I stayed for 4 consecutive days, and the housekeeper cleaned it daily, which was great. On my birthday, they even sent a card, fruit, and yogurt – very thoughtful!

JJielimiThe hotel's location is fantastic, right on Qianmen Street and very close to Zhushikou subway station. You can find delicious Beijing cuisine just a short walk from the hotel entrance. We were there for a weekend trip with our child, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a family room. Although the bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, it didn't impact our comfort at all, and the water heater provided hot water very quickly. With one king bed and one single bed, the bedding was super comfortable, and after a day of sightseeing, a good night's rest in the room immediately relieved our fatigue. Qianmen Street is right outside the window. The room's decor has a beautiful Republic of China era style. All the staff were very friendly. For this price, this location, and this level of comfort, it's truly a great deal.

GGuest UserSo, I stayed at the Dongsi Hotel, and the location near Wangfujing is seriously perfect for hitting the sights in Beijing. I’m giving it a strong 4 out of 5 stars, and honestly, that score is all thanks to the amazing people working there, because the room itself was a totally different story. Seriously, the staff were rockstars. They were warm, super helpful, and quick with everything I needed. They gave great local tips, helped out with my luggage, and just made me feel welcome every time I walked by. They are definitely the best thing about this place, and they worked hard to make up for the room's issues. The room, though? Big letdown. It felt genuinely old and tired, and maintenance is clearly overdue. The biggest problem was this gross, musty smell that just hung around all day, no matter how much I tried to air the place out. It made relaxing tough. Worse, there was a section of the wall that had obvious water stains and visible dampness—it looked like it was starting to leak, which is a major worry. Everything felt old, from the furniture to the general wear, and it’s clear these rooms need a total overhaul. Basically, the Dongsi Hotel is a mixed bag. The location is killer and the staff deserve all the praise. If you just need a place to crash and really value great service over having a pristine room, you’ll probably be fine. Just be ready for the older look, the chronic damp smell, and maybe checking the walls for spots. Fix those infrastructure issues, and this place would easily be five stars.

The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was very quick. They also introduced the hotel facilities and surroundings to me.
