Hotels in Shenzhen Coastal City/Hou Hai, Shenzhen

This is a beautiful and quiet hotel located conveniently near Shenzhen’s SeaWorld. It’s an ideal choice if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing environment. There are plenty of restaurants (and a mall) within walking distance, or you can enjoy the hotel’s own dinning options, which are reasonably priced (+ excellent service) People were polite and professional. Housekeeping was excellent, rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday. Daily provision of complimentary water bottles (can grab extra from common areas) - a thoughtful touch. The only downside was the wifi. It could be slow at times and occasionally disconnected, which may be a concern if you rely on it for working.

It’s my second stay at Shanghai-la Nanshan. Really enjoyed my last stay, so this time I brought my mum with me. She’s stunned by how pretty the hotel interior is, it’s definitely the style she likes. Here, special thanks to Allen and Alice at the front office, they’re totally caring and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay,the room is perfect, and the night view is amazing. I think I’d choose here again for my next family visit. Thanks for everything!

Jiangnan House Nantou is a true gem nestled in one of the most intriguing and character-filled neighborhoods in Shenzhen. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with incredibly warm and genuine hospitality—the service is consistently attentive, friendly, and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with a particularly comfortable bed that made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Every detail feels considered, creating a sense of calm and comfort that reflects the boutique spirit of the hotel. Located in Nantou Ancient Town, the hotel sits in a funky, artsy, and revitalized enclave that blends old-world charm with contemporary edge. The surrounding cobblestone streets add a distinctive atmosphere that may not appeal to every traveler—but for those who appreciate texture, history, and authenticity, walking through this environment only deepens the sense of discovery and delight. All in all, Jiangnan House Nantou offers a special kind of stay: stylish, soulful, and rooted in place. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something beyond the standard hotel experience.

A wonderful place to stay in SZ. Right next to the station and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. They helped us with getting around when we couldn’t read Chinese. The rooms were huge, spacious and even had a walk in closet. TV was fantastic with english channels. The room came with executive lounge access which included afternoon tea and breakfast, it was a delight! Fabulous staycation! .

Hi ! I always stay at this hotel during my business trips to Shenzhen. It’s conveniently located near the airport and Nanshan subway, with restaurants and local markets nearby, which makes my trip very enjoyable. Ms. Chaya and all the staff at the hotel are always friendly. Once, I accidentally left my Louis Vuitton bag on the sofa in the hotel lobby when I checked in and only realized it once I got to my room. I went straight back to the lobby on the first floor, and thankfully, the bag was still there. The hotel has excellent security, and the staff are always on guard in the lobby, so my bag was never at risk of being lost. These are just a few of the reasons why I prefer staying at this hotel.

The location is great—there are shopping stores, grocery shops, a park, and a metro station nearby. However, I booked a non-smoking room, but there was a noticeable smell of smoke coming through the air conditioning and in the bathroom.

Cloae to an underground atation. Clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were helpful. The buffet dinner was very good. It is close to mamy restaurants and a theatre.

Upon arrival, you need to ask the administrator to help you press the elevator to the 15th floor (No. 1506) to check in. The room is not very clean, and there are debris left in the refrigerator, toilet, and bedroom. You need to clean it yourself, but the location is very good, there are restaurants and shops around, it's very lively, and the receptionist is also very friendly. The room has a dining table and a living room, which is very convenient for traveling with family and friends, as they can sit together to eat and drink. The only pity is that outsiders don’t have VIP access to the audio-visual platform, so they can see very little on the projector, which is almost a waste of this big screen.

Stayed here a few times. Everything is fine. Only problem is that the gym opens at 0730 which is too late into the morning. The reason for this is because the gym and pool are detached from the hotel itself. This current time, my room wasn’t ready until 6pm. Not super satisfactory.
