Time truly flies; another autumn is here before I know it. Having experienced Garden No. 6 through all its seasons, I've returned this autumn. The room was as cozy, quiet, and spotless as ever. The restaurant's dishes still have that unforgettable taste – both amazing and delicious. The staff were all smiles, offering incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Oh, and a special mention to the feline manager, Egg Tart! She's adorably sassy, haha, like a charming 'cat security guard' overseeing the garden.

I booked a twin room through an online platform. Upon arrival in the evening, only the last available room was left. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The next day, as soon as a suitable room became available, they promptly arranged for a room change and delivered the new key card. The housekeeping staff were also very responsible and efficient. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and I'll be extending my stay for another night.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite the Tencent Building, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Rooms are spacious, and the facilities are new, including a well-equipped gym. The breakfast spread is superb, and guests also enjoy a complimentary mini-bar.

My recent stay at the Nanshan Shangri-La was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in an atmosphere of tranquility and luxury that lived up to the Shangri-La name.
Here are the highlights of our visit:
1. Impeccable Service & Warm Welcome:
The service was the standout feature. We were fortunate to be taken care of by Hebe and her colleagues at the Horizon Club, whose service consistently went above and beyond. They always offered assistance with a genuine desire to help. I was particularly touched on one occasion when my Alipay wasn't working to pay the taxi driver; a staff member at the door helped me pay the driver, which relieved me from the hassle and embarrassment.
2. Stunning Room with a View:
We stayed in a Horizon Club Room with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Shenzhen Bay area. The room was not the most spacious but was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. The decoration showed great attention to detail and redefined the concept of luxury. The bathroom amenities were from John Masters; they smelled wonderful but were a bit difficult to wash off as they are oil-based.
3. Exceptional Dining Experiences:
The breakfast buffet on the 66th floor was phenomenal. The variety was astounding, featuring everything from freshly baked pastries and a dedicated noodle station to Western classics and healthy options. The Horizon Club lounge was a peaceful haven with delicious and delicate canapés at afternoon tea and a sumptuous dinner during the happy hour in the evenings. I found the food there to be among the very best offered by top-notch hotels in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
4. The Pool and Recreation Facilities:
The hotel’s indoor infinity pool is a masterpiece. Swimming while looking out over the bay through floor-to-ceiling windows was a surreal and relaxing experience. The gym was huge and well-equipped. However, the temperature was a bit warm for a genuine workout.
5. Prime Location:
The location in Nanshan is perfect for both business and leisure. It's situated in the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base, a future major commercial and business district in Shenzhen's Nanshan District. As the area is still under construction, the immediate surroundings are not yet fully engaging. However, it is still very easy and convenient to get to major malls nearby.
Verdict:
The Nanshan Shangri-La is more than just a hotel; it's a destination. It perfectly balances business-like efficiency with resort-like relaxation. We left feeling completely pampered and recharged. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shenzhen.

The location is fantastic as you can see the hotel once you step out of Exit A of Sea World metro station. It is about 2-3 mins walk from the station exit. The area is vibrant and bustling with restaurants and convenience stores, good for grabbing a late night snack or running errands. The entire hotel has a music theme which is seen in many details from the hotel reception to the corridors leading to the rooms to the room itself which even has a CD player that plays soothing music. I was impressed that the hotel room looked better in reality than in the platform photos and that the bathroom was spacious. The staff were also very helpful when I asked for a cardboard box to pack items. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found this hotel to be extremely value for money.

Really enjoy staying in Holiday Inn Donghua Shenzhen. We had a early flight and arrive hotel about 10am and they allowed us to check in early. Room is clean and great breakfast, especially their freshly squeezed fruits juice. Great location where metro is just few step away from hotel. Katie Yeo from Font desk is very helpful. Thank you for helping to call taxi for us to Shekuo port.

This remains one of my favourite hotel in Shenzhen. The rooms are nice, the atmosphere is good. Facilities and amenities are good. Location is accessible for various attractions. Breakfast is quite good... however, I am baffled why a brand like Kempinski would serve low-quality fruit 'squash' rather than real fruit juice. This, and minor other small details, remind you that this hotel doesn't match the real international standards. However, it is usually a decent price, so as long as you aren't paying too much for the room I still highly recommend it.

The service was disappointing from the start. Our room wasn't ready at the scheduled check-in time, and the check-in queue was incredibly long. The staff's attitude was generally subpar, certainly not reflecting a five-star standard. Prior to our arrival, we had communicated with the hotel about a birthday setup and a room upgrade. Unfortunately, neither of these requests was fulfilled; all we received was a simple towel cake, which was a huge letdown. Although they have room service robots, they are extremely slow, often taking over 30 minutes. By the time the food finally arrived, it was already cold, rendering the service utterly pointless.

My previous trips to Shenzhen were always for business, but this time I decided to combine it with a vacation and booked the Youxiong Hotel. It truly changed my impression of the city.
Nestled in an old quarter within an urban village, it offers the best of both worlds: delicious dining and charming small shops are just downstairs, while evenings are quiet and tranquil like a residential area. It's truly the perfect choice for spontaneous travelers who don't want the hassle of planning an itinerary.
The front desk staff was excellent during check-in. Given that designers often select rather unique items, the staff member patiently explained how to use various amenities in the room and offered useful tips. On our departure day, it had just stopped raining, and the owner even used a camping trolley to help us load our luggage into the car.
Plenty of photos of the rooms and decor can be found online, and they perfectly matched my expectations. The style is distinctly different from how I'd decorate my own home, which made for a refreshing and unique experience. The hotel also thoughtfully provides branded, high-quality toiletries, ensuring guests can use them with complete peace of mind.
Oh, and the drinks at the downstairs coffee shop are fantastic! 👍🏼 I'll definitely be back for another stay.

**Pros:**
The hotel service was exceptional. I booked the stay for my family, and to spare my elderly relatives from having to pay a separate deposit upon arrival, I offered to cover it. However, the hotel staff kindly waived the deposit entirely.
I had originally booked a Deluxe Suite, but upon check-in, I was upgraded to an Anyan Suite. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a walk-in closet, and was absolutely flawless.
**Other points:**
There's a construction site directly opposite the hotel, but my family didn't report any sleep disturbance. The shower water temperature was a little on the cool side, and a buffet breakfast would have been preferred. However, on the whole, these minor drawbacks didn't detract from a very positive experience.

GGuest UserBesides the different themes, the rooms also vary in quality, depending on your luck. My room's jacuzzi didn't seem to have a massage function, so it just functioned as a regular bathtub. The air conditioner's dehumidification capacity was too strong, so I had to run water inside the room to avoid throat irritation. Downstairs, there were still plenty of shops and vendors around late at night.

NNadine NThe best part of the hotel is the location and the building manager who is very kind and helpful! Close to malls, shops and tourist attractions. For the cost, it is actually bigger than expected and spacious inside! Nice view of the mountain. Comes equipped with cooking utensils. Ayi does not clean every day unless you ask for it but simple enough to message on WeChat or do it yourself.
The worst part about the apartment are the cockroaches which come out, especially at night, regardless how much one cleans or places bait traps. To be fair, not sure if it’s just a general problem in that area. Other drawback was the bathroom because there is no shower curtain or block to stop water spreading, again it seems to be a Shenzhen thing, most bathrooms seem to be like that. It’s inconvenient because everything gets wet and you will spend every shower, mopping (thankfully, a mop was left in the bathroom). Another problem was the leaking bathroom sink and toilet, so always water on the floor. Bad smell in the bathroom because of it or dirty pipes. Might be worth repairing.
Also, although advertised with outside swimming pool, it is not free so expect to pay to use but not bad at 20 kuai.
Overall a decent enough stay. I was very grateful to Mr Tang who helped me a lot during my time there.

LLANCE LINThe location is absolutely fantastic! You step right out into a vibrant commercial area. The subway station is incredibly close, only about 100-200 meters away. What's even better is that the iconic 'Spring Bamboo' landmark (China Resources Tower) and MixC City are just next door, making it super convenient to get anywhere.
