The rooms are spacious and very clean, with well-equipped bathrooms. A subtle, pleasant vanilla scent wafts through the hallways from the diffusers. They also offer complimentary laundry service, which is a great convenience for guests.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a king-size room, and on our last day, they even extended a late check-out, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture.
The customer service was attentive and provided excellent assistance, ensuring we had a truly comfortable stay."

"The hotel has an excellent location, just steps away from local food spots and a large shopping mall, which made getting around and dining out very convenient.
The staff were friendly and attentive, though they didnt spewk English. Despite the language barrier, they were always willing to help and made a genuine effort to assist.
However, there were several issues that affected my stay. The breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options that catered mostly to local tastes — not ideal if you’re expecting a more international selection.
The elevator area often had a strong urine smell, likely due to the restroom located right near the entrance. In addition, the hallways and common areas were not veryy clean, with stained carpets and visible marks on the floor, which was surprising for an Ibis hotel. The carpet was noticeably old and in need of replacement.
While my room itself was fine, the overall cleanliness of the hotel outside the room was below the standard I’ve experienced at other Ibis locations."

"We were so glad we chose this guesthouse! The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth and made us feel instantly at ease.
**Regarding the environment:** The place itself was immaculately clean and tidy, boasting a modern decor. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a fantastic night's sleep.
**As for the service:** The front desk staff were excellent! They proactively sent detailed check-in instructions which were incredibly practical and helpful. Whenever we had questions, their responses were always prompt. They even paid attention to small details, like noticing we'd bought water and then kindly providing us with extra bottles.
**Location-wise:** It's perfectly situated right next to the famous Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making exploration incredibly convenient.

"Choosing Ruiyi for our 3-day, 2-night trip to Xiamen was absolutely the right decision.
1. **Location:** The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to Ba Shi Market and Zhongshan Road. It offers direct sea views of Gulangyu Island and is just a 10-minute walk to the subway station.
2. **Rooms:** Our 50 sqm room was spacious and thoughtfully designed with clearly defined areas. The facilities were new, comprehensive, and well-maintained – thankfully, none of the issues rumored online were present.
3. **Service:** The service was top-notch. Upon check-in, a lovely staff member guided us to our room and ensured everything was to our liking, making us feel completely at home. Late one night, returning to the hotel, I saw a manager diligently checking room cards in the elevator – this attention to detail truly made us feel secure. And upon departure, a kind staff member at the entrance helped load our luggage into the car, a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated.
While our overall travel experience in Xiamen wasn't extraordinary, the hotel truly exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Ruiyi Grand Hotel to everyone I know."

"The hotel boasts an extremely convenient location, right on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and very close to the subway station, making it very travel-friendly for older guests. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The only slight downside was the service staff's average attitude. Communication was sometimes a challenge, especially for elderly guests, as some staff members had noticeable accents, which made it difficult for both parties to understand each other clearly. This impression mainly comes from comparing it to a similarly priced hotel in Quanzhou we stayed at previously, where the seniors found the staff to be much more enthusiastic and proactive."

"When planning my trip to Xiamen, I started my hotel search. After much back-and-forth comparison of many options, I finally settled on Weishang. The cleanliness and overall environment were top-notch. The front desk service was also excellent; when we checked out, one of the staff members even helped us carry our luggage downstairs and load it into our car. What's more, the location offers excellent transport links. Zhongshan Road is right downstairs, and it's very close to Zhonghua City and Tiger City. The bus and metro stations are also not far, just about a 10-minute walk away."

My overall experience during this stay was fantastic! First off, the location is superb. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting both tourist attractions and shopping districts. Absolutely perfect for travelers!
Secondly, the attention to detail in their service truly stood out. From the friendly front desk staff guiding me with a smile during check-in to the housekeeping team proactively replacing bottled water daily, every interaction reflected their thoughtful and professional approach. The room itself was another pleasant surprise: the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully deep sleep. The smart toilet and voice-controlled lighting were a fantastic bonus, adding a touch of modern tech. What's more, every corner, even the often-missed spots, was immaculately clean – I truly couldn't find a single fault.
The breakfast spread, while not spectacular, was definitely ample, offering both Western and Chinese options. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared noodles and freshly brewed coffee.
Should I return to this city, I would definitely prioritize staying here again! I highly recommend it to anyone who values both convenience and comfort."

"The service was great! We had booked a 2 PM check-in, but were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready when we arrived at 10 AM. The room itself was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A big plus is the hotel's laundry facilities, which include a washer-dryer combo. The location is excellent – it's very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Bashi Market. Getting around is super convenient, whether you want to walk, take a bus, a taxi, or the BRT. Highly recommended!"

"Convenient location to main shopping areas and food. The hotel staff is generous and flexible (gave us a carton of water and allowed us to check out late). He even booked DiDi cabs for us on his account and let us reimburse him upon our return. Very helpful.
The only downside is, the location is off the main street and can be hard to locate. The taxi will have to drop you off on roadside and you’ll have to bring your luggage in theu narrow streets to get to the place. No lifts either"

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is amazing, clean, comfortable and spacious, with better service and a shuttle bus. It is a wise choice for those who don't want to walk too much with children. We went to the island in the afternoon and rested in the hotel because there were many people. The courtyard was very large and we played basketball for a while. At 5 o'clock, when most people left the island, we started to go out for a slow tour. The hotel is very close to several attractions we wanted to visit, such as Shuzhuang Garden, Sunlight Rock and Snack Street. It is too convenient and closer to the beach. You can swipe your card at the back door to get there. The children can play for a long time and there are few people. You can also watch the sunrise and sunset. Everyone in the hotel is warm and thoughtful. They will give travel suggestions, which can be combined with your own plan. It is perfect and feels like home.

The room was very carefully decorated, clean and tidy, and the light was very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were very complete and very convenient to use. The guy at the front desk was very nice and gave a lot of local travel suggestions. He felt like a caring friend. It was a very relaxing stay, and I will choose here again next time!

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering personalized recommendations and prompt assistance whenever needed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities that made my stay incredibly relaxing.
The hotel’s location is perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The staff also kindly gave me breakfast coupons. The breakfast was delicious and vairous. They change the menu everyday and provide the specialties of Xiamen.
Overall, my experience was nothing short of outstanding, and I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Xiamen. Highly recommend!!!

GGuest UserA huge shout-out to Kitty! Her service was absolutely fantastic, and she's such a charming and delightful person. We stayed in an Executive Mountain View King Room. The bed was very spacious, and the views were expansive. One side offered city views, allowing us to intimately experience Xiamen's culture, while the other side featured mountain views, perfect for connecting with nature and unwinding. The hotel's location offers excellent transportation convenience, with both subway and bus access readily available. It's centrally located in the downtown area, very close to major attractions and transportation hubs. The hotel's decor is quite impressive and grand, and the facilities are well-appointed and comprehensive. A huge shout-out to the 5th-floor lounge area! It has board games, game consoles, and even a billiard table! If you happen to visit during peak season, you can easily pass the time here while waiting for your room, so boredom is not an option. They've truly considered everyone's sleep needs; there's a pillow menu placed right by the bed. That's incredibly thoughtful. The gym on the 15th floor isn't particularly large, but it's sufficient for basic fitness needs. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

The double room was too close to the elevator. I was afraid that our children would not be able to sleep well. The boss specially added two big bed rooms I bought two beds and gave Xiang Piaopiao to the children

AAK@MYOur first impression of the hotel was truly positive, staff greeted us warmly, provided us welcome drink and gift and even arranged an early check-in @ about 1:40pm, which was much appreciated. We stayed in a ”Family Friendly Room” that was spacious and cosy. It is an excellent choice for families with children.
One minor drawback was that the bathroom didn’t have an attached wash basin, which might not suit everyone. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved.
The hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including complimentary use of washing and drying machines, as well as a simple afternoon tea. Its location is ideal, right in the heart of the tourist area, perfect for shopping and discovering delicious local Xiamen cuisine.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our three-day, two-night stay. A restful and pleasant experience and highly recommended!
