Nice boat tour with beautiful lights. A bit expensive for a 40min ride. There are explanation in Chinese of what you are seeing but if you don’t speak Chinese it can be a bit annoying having a strong background noise during the whole trip. If you take the tour I recommend sitting next to the window or in the front row.

You can come at any time. They check your voucher number at the entrance and let you in. We weren't allowed into the Exam Museum with our voucher number. Only with our ticket, that's all. You can ride. It's beautifully lit. But there aren't any special buildings or places.

The Nanjing Museum is a large and worthwhile place to visit and learn from, especially with our professional guide, Wenli. It wasn't just the children who learned; we adults learned a lot too! Teacher Wenli also provided many supplementary materials such as photos and videos, and there were even rewards for answering her questions correctly! Teacher Wenli thoughtfully prepared plastic bags to hold our wet umbrellas and considerately gave us a break between visits.

I really enjoyed visiting the Nanjing Museum. The museum is spacious, well organized, and has a great variety of exhibitions covering Chinese history, art, and culture. There is so much to see that you could easily spend several hours exploring without getting bored.The exhibits are beautifully displayed, and I especially appreciated how they combined historical artifacts with informative descriptions that made everything easy to understand. The museum itself is clean, modern, and well maintained.I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in Nanjing. Whether you're interested in history or just looking for something interesting to do, it's a worthwhile experience and one of the city's must-visit attractions.

My husband and I traveled to Nanjing for 5 days, and we stayed at the Jinling Hotel for 4 nights. Initially, I was worried that an older hotel might be dated and unclean, but after checking in, I realized my concerns were unfounded. We stayed in the Asia Pacific Tower, which is relatively newer and very good, with complete facilities, quiet surroundings, and tidy, clean items.
We had two full meals at the hotel. One was at Meiyuan, where the food was incredibly authentic, and the staff were very polite and attentive, quickly approaching to ask about our needs with just a glance or gesture. The other meal was the semi-buffet seafood hotpot on the hotel's 56th floor. Firstly, the seafood was extremely fresh, and the quality of the dishes was very high. The ambiance was also impeccable; being on the 56th floor, enjoying the food while gazing at Nanjing's night view was an absolute pleasure.
Furthermore, I must mention the service at the restaurant, especially a young lady named Vicky Xu. She was proactive, enthusiastic, provided excellent service, was smiling and polite, and attended to every request – truly wonderful. She deserves absolute praise!FromSEK 780

I always stay here when I come to Nanjing, so I’ve stayed here probably ten times. Overall it’ a nice, “old luxury” style Japanese hotel with excellent service. Several of their staff went out of their way to make it a better experience, including the women working on the restaurant (which is a really good deal if you get the discount available when you book the room). The hotel is worth exploring - peep the rooftop garden and the giant gym. Excellent rooms with bathtubs and showers too. It's beautiful under a bright sun, and even more ethereal and charming on a rainy day, with the majestic Purple Mountain in the background. The service in the executive lounge is noticeably superior to the ground floor lobby, a good three or four levels up. The bathtub in the executive room is also excellent, comparable to what you'd find at the Banyan Tree on the Bund, which costs around 4000 [currency unit]. If I had to pick a fault, it's that the hotel is almost eighteen years old now. Room cleanliness: Overall clean, very comfortable bedding, and a good hairdryer.
Room view: Stayed on the 34th floor, with lake views on one side and city views on the other. The scenery was unbeatable. Woke up to watch the sunrise, then went for a morning run around Xuanwu Lake, just over 10 kilometers.
Hotel location: The hotel lobby is on the 23rd floor of Jinmao Plaza. The subway elevator goes directly to it. The mall has plenty of dining options and bubble tea, very convenient!
Hotel breakfast: A rich variety, including mixed fruit and vegetable juices. The Chinese breakfast even had freshly made Jianbing (savory crepes), and the American-style scrambled eggs were very tender. The croissants and other pastries were good, skim milk was available, and there seemed to be 3 coffee machines, so no waiting time. We were seated in a separate, quiet area, which was a very pleasant dining environment, and the service staff were very attentive.
Executive Lounge: The ambiance was quite ordinary, probably due to its age. In the afternoon, there were some juices, sodas, two or three types of fruit, but limited snacks – only two kinds of biscuits and two kinds of dried fruit.
Hotel service: On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, they thoughtfully gifted mooncakes 🥮. Because we were delayed returning from Hongshan Zoo, we called the hotel, and they extended our check-out time. The service staff were all very warm and thorough, many thanks!FromSEK 915

Extremely satisfied with this trip.
Facilities: The room was very clean, practically dust-free. The shower room was also spotless, with no water stains. The suite had two toilets and two sinks, one shower and one bathtub. The facilities were comprehensive. (It would have been perfect with a shoehorn!)
Service: Excellent. Requests for water or blankets were responded to very quickly. The view from the window was half lake and half city, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a superb vista. The afternoon tea desserts at the executive lounge were exquisite, and the evening snacks were also delicious. Breakfast was a semi-buffet, semi-à la carte style, and the lounge directly overlooked Xuanwu Lake, making for a great experience. This hotel is definitely worth experiencing! Let's start with the hotel's praiseworthy aspects:
1) The environment is truly exceptional. Situated within Laoshu Mountain Forest Park, it's pristine, embracing nature with birds singing and flowers blooming, and dense vegetation. You feel instantly relaxed upon entering!
2) The hotel space is very large and boasts a fantastic design – it's beautiful!
3) The room is very quiet, and the bedding is comfortable and conducive to sleep.
4) The staff are warm, friendly, patient, and attentive!
Now for the areas that need improvement:
1) As shown in Figure 8, there are too many sharp corners on the countertop in the shower room. This space isn't very large to begin with, and these sharp corners are a clear safety hazard. I hope this can be addressed and rectified as soon as possible.
2) As shown in Figure 9, the vanity is a bit small. There's no suitable place to put skincare products or cosmetics, so they end up getting splashed with water near the faucet. I suggest adding a shelf above the faucet.
3) Breakfast was a bit disappointing. I understand that the hotel might not have many guests, but if they could improve either the quantity or quality of the dishes, it would definitely boost their reputation.FromSEK 781
