Service: The service was great, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. They even asked if I had a preferred room number or numbers I wanted to avoid, which was very considerate. Environment: However, the overall room size was very small. The room I was given seemed to be a disabled-access room, with a very large bathroom, but I didn't like that there were so many rooms on that floor. Facilities: There's a gym and a swimming pool, but the pool is tiny, almost not suitable for actual swimming. The hotel entrance is a bit hard to find, located in what's essentially an alley. But the surrounding area is quite lively, with plenty of coffee shops and shopping options.

The soundproofing in the room is terrible. You can clearly hear the water pipes from the next-door shower and the air conditioning. Coming back to the room at night felt like being in a bustling market; it was incredibly noisy. I called the front desk to have someone check it out, but no one ever came all night. If you're sensitive to noise, definitely do not stay here!!

Location is good for shopping and eating around, room is quite spacious but the floor 5 I lived every time that the other room opened or closed the door it seems like my room was slammed as well. Feel like somebody slam the door all the time. Hope the others don’t face the thing like me experiences. Moderated service mind.

Clean, quiet, convenient, safe, and reasonably priced. It's right opposite a police station and a large supermarket, and close to the train station. The Atlantis Hotel is directly across from the Victoria Police Centre and Coles Central Supermarket, and very close to Southern Cross Station, making it incredibly convenient for train and Skybus travel [strong recommendation emoji]. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in the heart of Melbourne and just opposite of a tram stop. It's very convenient to hop on to the free tram and explore the city, love the convenience! There are many eateries nearby that open until late and McDonald's is just around the corner, great for travellers who fly in late. Hotel room is clean and it is equipped with a full set of kitchenware. The hotel receptionists are very friendly and they help us to keep our baggage while we explore around town.

If you’re looking for a hotel with high-rise city views, this may not be the one for you. But if you appreciate heritage architecture, this is a fantastic choice. Housed in a beautifully restored former equity building, the hotel blends classic charm with modern comfort. I especially liked the historic elevator features and the Luci restaurant, whose vintage design adds a unique touch to the breakfast experience. Speaking of which, breakfast was lovely - THOUGH I do wish barista-made coffee was included, considering the price point. Service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, creating a human and heartfelt atmosphere right from check-in. Room service was impressively responsive. One time our in-room dining order arrived a bit late, but the kitchen made up for it with a thoughtful gesture, which really enhanced the overall experience. The bathroom had a semi-open shower design, but water didn’t splash out much, so it wasn’t an issue. I also really appreciated the full set of Hunter Lab toiletries. It’s a great touch to feature high-end Australian products that reflect the local character. All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for its service and comfortable, well-thought-out experience.

We stayed altogether three nights here. The hotel was converted from a historical building dated back to 1890s . We enjoyed the stay-included breakfast at Alluvial restaurant. It got charming vibe. the King Classic room we stayed is spacious consider it is in zone 1 of Melbourne. The hotel is in walking distance to many of the Melbourne city attractions we are even able to take some rest in the room in our planned city walking trip in the middle of a very hot summer sunny day. The bathroom provides Byredo toiletries which we like. However, the decor is a bit dated and need refreshing and we are not happy with the service level of the staff. For example, the phone handfree function is not working properly; the safe is according to the hotel ”in the process of replacement” and not working either; the call to ”Instant Service” for help often took more than 5-seconds ring especially during the night time. There is even a false fire alert during one of the morning time of our stay. I doubt it is a standard of Intercontinental hotel or a 5-star rated hotel. For whom consider staying at this room type of this hotel, please note the windows is fixed and facing the hallway so the room has 1. no natural sunlight 2. no fresh air and 3. needs closing the curtains all the time if you prefer privacy. Another point worth noting is the bathroom floor is very slippery after bath, I would call it a death trap if you wear the one-off slippers that is provided in the room as you can easily get a slip and fall on the bathroom floor even for a grown adult.

Overall, the environment at Park Hyatt Melbourne is truly excellent. Both the design aesthetic and the overall ambiance reflect the high standards expected of a luxury hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well-arranged, making for a comfortable stay. The gym is well-equipped, which is a big plus for those who enjoy working out, and the pool is clean with a comfortable water temperature, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a wide variety and high quality, especially their freshly made egg dishes and bread. It's one of the more satisfying breakfasts I've had at a hotel in Australia. And all things considered, the value for money is also very good; it's definitely worth it. The service was almost impeccable. The staff were all professional and friendly, and many details were handled very well. However, a slight disappointment was that the room's cleanliness could be improved. For example, the phone in the toilet was noticeably dirty, which slightly affected the overall experience. But when I reported the issue to the front desk, they waived some minor charges for me. Overall, it was a very good stay. It would be even more perfect if they had stricter control over the cleanliness details. It's suitable for both business travel and leisure vacations, and I highly recommend it.

Hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to them. Hotel room is just perfect for a Solo traveller in terms of room size, facilities, lighting, etc. I love the room interior. It looks bright and motivating. Lighting is bright which I always prefer and I have the option to switch off some lights if I want it a bit darker before sleeping. Toilet looks compact but there is certainly enough space to take shower and do other stuff. There is a sofa which makes the room look more classy. The bed, pillow and sofa are very comfortable. I was able to adjust the Aircon and keep myself warm and comfortable. In room dining service was excellent. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was tasty. Hotel is conveniently situated within CBD and I am able to walk over to wherever I want or take tram and travel around the city. I love this hotel and I will stay in this hotel again when I revisit Melbourne in the coming months.

I recently stayed at Novotel Melbourne on Collins, and overall it was a great experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, cafes, and public transport. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with large windows overlooking Collins Street. The bed was very cozy and ensured a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at check-in — they made everything smooth and welcoming. Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. My initial impression upon check-in was quite good. However, I later found bugs in the bedding – I couldn't identify them, but they were definitely bloodsuckers. I reported it to the front desk, and it even caught the attention of the local inspection department, who took it very seriously. They quickly helped us switch rooms and left our luggage in the original room for disinfection and pest control. The service attitude was excellent, and they acted swiftly. However, despite their good response, I'd still be quite hesitant to stay at this hotel again.
