"We had an amazing 5-night stay at Echarm Hotel located at No.3 Huagui road.  The check-in process was fast and smooth. One of the highlights was the complimentary laundry service—our clothes were washed, neatly folded, and delivered back to our room while we were out shopping, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is also in a great location, surrounded by many convenience stores and plenty of local street food, making it easy to explore the area. A special thank you to Ms. 赵金燕 at the front desk for her outstanding service. She went above and beyond to assist us and even arranged complimentary breakfasts throughout our stay. Her warmth and hospitality made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"The twin room layout was great, and it had a mini-fridge that was well-stocked with amenities, including two complimentary small drinks. The room was decorated in a Lingnan style, and the soundproofing was decent. Facilities were comprehensive, and the hot water supply was stable. The front desk staff had a good service attitude, and there's a laundry facility on the top floor."

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were complete. The soundproofing was also good. "As a local, I decided to stay overnight for a weekend getaway since Yongqing Fang gets pretty congested on weekends. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right inside Yongqing Fang, facing Liwan Creek. It's super convenient to get anywhere, and Huangsha Metro Station is just a few minutes' walk away. The room offers fantastic value for money; it even has an electric toilet, and the air conditioning is powerful, while the duvet isn't too thick, perfect for summer. The hotel also has a small bar. While the drink selection is limited, you can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into running the place. The hotel has been open for a few years, so it's normal to see some marks on the walls. Overall, it's very good, and I'll consider a better room type next time."

"The room's cleanliness was very good, though the decor might be a bit dated. Let's start with the cons. The air conditioning was a bit noisy; I had to turn it off at night to sleep, otherwise, the machine noise was quite bothersome. The robot delivery was so quiet! There was no phone notification; I only realized the robot had arrived when I opened the door. The elevator wait time was a little long. Now for the pros. The cleaning was excellent, and the room didn't have any musty, old smells. The front desk was also very responsive, generally fulfilling small requests promptly. I had a very comfortable stay these past few days~"

"The hygiene was good, no bugs or anything. The staff were friendly and responsive to requests. Our room faced the commercial street and was surprisingly quiet at night. Right outside the hotel, turn left and you're on Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. If you turn left again and walk about 200-300 meters, you'll find Tao Tao Ju, Lian Xiang Lou, and Nanxin Milk Experts. Further down is Yongqingfang. If you turn right instead, just a few tens of meters away are Huang Shang Huang and Guangzhou Restaurant. Since we were traveling with a child, we mostly took taxis. (For reference: A round trip to Chimelong Safari Park was about 50 RMB; to the Sacred Heart Cathedral about 15 RMB; and to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (which you can combine with a visit to the Museum of the Nanyue King, walkable from there) about 20 RMB. Shamian Island was not far, we walked there; Chen Clan Academy was also walkable (after visiting Chen Clan Academy, cross a pedestrian bridge and you'll find ”Dimdoude” not far). Guangzhou Tower was about 20 RMB away.) My daughter loved Nanxin the most, we ate there four times. The sweet soups, rice noodle rolls, congee, and plain wontons were all delicious."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hidden Gem Boutique Hotel in Old Guangzhou! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. After a minor issue at check-in, the staff went completely above and beyond, giving me a big room upgrade for a nominal fee 🙏🏼. Hotel & Service 🏨 Don’t be alarmed by the exterior or the elevator at street level when you first arrive as the hotel is located in a vintage building in the old part of town. However, once you step into the actual hotel lobby, it is incredibly clean, modern, and well-maintained. It has the warm, attentive feel of a hands-on, family-run boutique hotel. The staff are exceptionally responsive and answered any requests almost immediately. They also offer great perks like free coffee, drinks, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. Gym & Amenities 🏋️♂️ A huge plus for me was the small gym space. It is simple but incredibly functional, which is rare for boutique hotels in China. It features an excellent treadmill, an exercise bike, a workout bench, and a set of dumbbells—everything you need for a decent, solid workout (which I used both days). The gym also conveniently houses two washers (automatic detergent dispensing) and two dryers 🧺 . In my room, there was a projection TV and a huge wall screen to which you can cast from your phone or laptop 🎥 🍿 Location & Food 🗺️ 🥘 The location is unbeatable. It is just a short, easy walk to the nearby subway station and several shopping centers, making exploring the city a breeze. Furthermore, just around the corner are several incredibly popular, bustling, authentic Cantonese roast meat/barbecue restaurants. The food there is unbelievably tasty and exceptionally cheap and I ordered takeout from here every day! Highly recommended this hotel for anyone looking for modern comfort, amazing local food, and top-tier hospitality in Guangzhou! ✨"

"The location is great, right across from Yongqingfang! There's a pharmacy, noodle shop, and fruit store right outside, which is super convenient! The service was excellent, very warm, attentive, and they even provided a local travel guide! The room size was decent, and the bedding was comfortable. There's a common area on the first floor with free coffee and tea. The restaurant on the 4th floor is quiet and comfortable, offering milk, soy milk, coffee, Chinese noodle soup, Western salads, and bread – quite good :)"
