The hotel's location is also very convenient, right in the center, close to attractions like Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Shamian Island, Yongqing Fang, and Yuexiu Park. It's even easier to get around by subway; Ximenkou Station is just over 100 meters away. It's definitely worth staying here!"

"The hotel is conveniently located with two subway stations about a hundred meters away in either direction. It's close to all the main attractions. The only minor issue is that the hotel entrance is a bit tricky to find, but taxis can drop you right at the door. When we first arrived, the driver dropped us off by the traffic lights on the main road, not on the small street leading to the hotel entrance, so it took us a few minutes to find it. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the service was good. Overall, a positive experience."

"Staying at Sino Hotel was a great experience. It's right next to Ximenkou subway station, and you can easily walk to Guangxiao Temple and Liurong Temple. Xihua Road offers all sorts of classic eateries where you can try famous dishes like 'bula chang' (rice noodle rolls) and 'wun jai chi' (shark fin soup) – perfect for a food tour! The hotel has a 24-hour gym, a self-service laundry room with washers and dryers, and even robot delivery, which is a nice touch. It's definitely a top choice for exploring the old town. If you prefer a quiet room, I recommend asking the front desk not to assign you a room near the entrances/exits."

"The lady at the front desk was great. I had to wait for a while in the lobby, and she even brought me hot water, which was very thoughtful. The luggage service was also a pleasant surprise; I've never encountered that before. Given the hotel's price, other minor issues really don't matter to me. I usually go with my gut feeling, and if it feels good, it's good; otherwise, it's definitely a no-go. But the front desk staff completely changed my mind. She looked a bit like a girl I had a crush on back in school, and for a moment, I thought she actually worked here, which startled me! After a minor issue at check-in, the staff went completely above and beyond, giving me a big room upgrade for a nominal fee 🙏🏼. Hotel & Service 🏨 Don’t be alarmed by the exterior or the elevator at street level when you first arrive as the hotel is located in a vintage building in the old part of town. However, once you step into the actual hotel lobby, it is incredibly clean, modern, and well-maintained. It has the warm, attentive feel of a hands-on, family-run boutique hotel. The staff are exceptionally responsive and answered any requests almost immediately. They also offer great perks like free coffee, drinks, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. Gym & Amenities 🏋️♂️ A huge plus for me was the small gym space. It is simple but incredibly functional, which is rare for boutique hotels in China. It features an excellent treadmill, an exercise bike, a workout bench, and a set of dumbbells—everything you need for a decent, solid workout (which I used both days). The gym also conveniently houses two washers (automatic detergent dispensing) and two dryers 🧺 . In my room, there was a projection TV and a huge wall screen to which you can cast from your phone or laptop 🎥 🍿 Location & Food 🗺️ 🥘 The location is unbeatable. It is just a short, easy walk to the nearby subway station and several shopping centers, making exploring the city a breeze. Furthermore, just around the corner are several incredibly popular, bustling, authentic Cantonese roast meat/barbecue restaurants. The food there is unbelievably tasty and exceptionally cheap and I ordered takeout from here every day! Highly recommended this hotel for anyone looking for modern comfort, amazing local food, and top-tier hospitality in Guangzhou! ✨"
