Hotel is in modern design and nicely clean. It has all necessities we need.
Booked with breakfast but the restarant we went was different from the photos they advertised here and not in the same building. The breakfast we had was only tea or coffee, juice and toast or Croissant there was no other choice. The breakfast was not worth to what I've paid.
Hotel doesn't have physical reception with staffs where you can check in as the traditional way. You can only do online check-in to be able to get your room number and access code. Use What's Up to communicate with hotel for any service.

The hotel was in a good neighbourhood a short walk from the Canal metro line so all the sites were quickly reached. Quite a few bars on the street near the hotel and reasonably priced. Our hotel room was great - v clean and good sized balcony to sit out on. Good breakfast selection. Good staff. Could do with a bar service in the reception but other than that an ideal base for exploring Madrid .

I don't recommend this hotel, based on the following personal experience:
1. The hotel front desk didn't read the notes.
The notes required a quiet room, and gave me a corner room near the sewer. Every night, I don't know if it was the next door or the upstairs who started taking a shower, and the water pipe started to make noises. (Attached is a video, you can turn on the sound to listen) After communicating, the front desk was a very mean older man, who rudely refused directly because there was no room, and there was no apology or other alternatives.
2. The breakfast is very poor
If you have to pay extra, it is not recommended to book. We only had breakfast one day and didn't eat the next day. There were very few things and it was very simple.
3. The room type is not good, and the price is not cheap
The standard room faces the inner window, the ventilation is average, and the bathroom has a bad smell. The price booked at RIU two days before check-in was 1800/night, and the price of this hotel with early check-out during the peak season was 1700, but the feeling was really average in comparison.

Huge thanks to the hotel for such a high-quality stay! The facilities are well-maintained and look new, the rooms are spotless, and the common areas are also immaculate. The overall cleanliness truly made for a very comfortable environment. The staff were all friendly and attentive; it's clear the team pays great attention to detail. A special thank you for creating such a comfortable atmosphere, which completely melted away my travel fatigue. If the late check-out policy could be a bit more flexible, perhaps with clearer guidelines or some reasonable leeway, I believe the experience would be even more perfect. Overall, this was a very satisfying stay, your dedication is commendable, and I look forward to seeing even more thoughtful upgrades on my next visit!

The room is relatively large and close to the subway and bus. It is very convenient to go to the Bernabeu to watch a game. It is not far to the city center, and the subway takes about 10 minutes. Good value for money

The location of this hotel was great. 100m from the Metro and plenty of cafes close by. Comfortable rooms with good facilities as you would expect from Leonardo Hotels.
We’re in the heart of Azca financial district surrounded by restaurants and shops and just a five-minute walk from Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and Paseo de la Castellana. Experience urban gastronomy at Canopy Central or the vibrant Food Truck on our outdoor terrace. A rooftop pool, fully equipped gym and evening tastings complete your stay.

This hotel is pretty much a standard business hotel. I'm not sure if there's any discrimination against Chinese guests, but my room was on the first floor, and since I was only staying one night, I didn't fuss about it. I chose this hotel because it's a 10-minute walk from the Line 8 metro station, thinking it would be convenient to get to the airport. However, when I walked to the station at 6:30 AM, there were groups of teenagers smoking and loitering, I'm not sure what they were doing or planning, but they definitely weren't students or commuters. It felt quite alarming, so in the end, I just hailed a taxi on the street to get to the airport. So, unless you're here for a business trip nearby, I'd recommend staying at a hotel in the city center for tourism, as taxi fares to the airport are fixed regardless of the starting point.

The building is under modernization. New rooms even if the room in our case had no sideways. A little asphytic. Noise from the adjacent rooms. I think that with my child we have given many trouble to other guests because it was almost all that was felt from the next rooms.
The breakfast is not very different and it is to be done within 10 a.m. after access is blocked and lights on the buffet are down.
In the vicinity there is the stop metro Alonso Martinez line 10 and 4

PPink323Hard Rock Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Atocha station. The entrance has steps, and staff kindly helped with our large luggages when we went inside to ask. The lobby looks trendy and welcoming at check-in.
We booked a 4-night stay in a family room for two. Paying extra, we chose family room with two washing basins, as shown on their website and confirmed verbally at check-in. However, the room given had an extra rollaway bed set up and only one basin. After reminding front desk that we didn’t need the extra bed and specifically requested two basins, there was some delay—possibly due to language barriers. Eventually, the front desk agreed to rearrange our room.
We appreciated this gesture, though initially the staff seemed reluctant, repeating “it is set up like that” and showing blank faces. I had to be assertive to explain that the extra bed defeats the purpose of paying more for extra space. Hotels should understand that some guests pay extra for bigger rooms without needing extra beds. Flexibility to remove the bed would improve guest experience. If I had known, I might have paid less for a standard room.
In the end, they moved us to a room without the extra bed and with two sinks. While the staff handled this without smiles, they were friendly and responsive during the rest of our stay. This was my first time at Hard Rock Hotel, and perhaps cultural differences influenced the front desk’s reaction.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with tea, coffee, and a daily bottle of water. Though bar noise was audible from downstairs, it was not disturbing, and earplugs were provided. Housekeeping was always friendly and smiling.
Overall, Hard Rock Hotel has excellent facilities. I’m unsure if I’d return, but the quality of the hardware is good.
GGuest UserIf I had known the suite would have a sofa bed and two single beds, I wouldn't have booked it.
The cleanliness and environment were quite good. The room was spacious, and there was a large supermarket a few hundred meters away. The microwave was very convenient.
I asked room service for a bottle opener, and they charged me 6 euros. I later returned it. Remember, delivery to the room costs money, but picking it up at the front desk downstairs is free.
AAnton L.We stayed at the hotel for one night and overall had a very positive experience.
The hotel is quite large and conveniently located slightly inside from the main street, in a quieter inner area. This actually makes car access very comfortable and convenient.
The room itself was great — blackout curtains (which are very important for good sleep), a comfortable mattress, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The service was also good and professional.
For a short stay, the price-quality ratio is absolutely fair. Overall, we were satisfied and would consider staying here again.
DDazhazhadesuThe hotel is located right next to Retiro Park, on the edge of Madrid's central business district. It takes over half an hour by subway to get to the Royal Palace or the Prado Museum area, or about 15 minutes by taxi. The nearest metro station is a very close 3-minute walk away.
The hotel's cleanliness was decent, but it's clear the facilities are quite old.
I booked a room without breakfast, but for some reason, breakfast was complimentary, which was a nice surprise. The variety wasn't extensive, but the taste was acceptable. You could also order from a menu.
SSS TripsBit hard to get to/from the airport they do have shuttle services but its a lil tricky navigating the site plus they are only available between certain hours of the day.
Its in the middle of nowhere. Just industrial area and other hotels. Which forces you to dine in, breakfast is decent, but dinner was bad. Feel like the food in general is cheap, but charged at a premium. Poor quality ingredients for what you are paying for. I dont expect a mcchicken burger at 18euro. I expect a real chicken breast. Not mechanical blended meat. Other than that the place is actually really nice. Im a fan of that Scandinavian minimal look. Next time i would actually still stay here but just taxi to a nearby restaurant or uber eats some nicer food instead of dining in. Staff were lovely and helpful. Decent gym too. They need slightly heavier weights but you can get a good work out with thats there. I may of got swindled as I ordered a double and they put the singles together. I didnt want to make a fuss but look out for that.
GGuest UserThe apartment was hugely overpriced.
The location is nowhere near the plush area of Retiro as suggested by the apartment description.
The apartments are tiny with no natural light. They are very dark and depressing.
The water takes a long long time to heat up.
There has been money wasted on fancy bathroom sinks and wooden floors when comfort should be the number one priority.
The beds are really terrible and really hard. I developed back and shoulder pain within a few hours of trying to sleep on the bed.
The human spine is S shaped and if you lie on a decent bed your shoulder and hip should sink into the mattress. This offers vital comfort and support.
The pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable and in the two upstairs apartments you can hear the people in the next room loud and clear.
The equipment in the kitchen is very restricted.
Not enough knives and forks and the cutlery provided is not suitable. Steak knives all two of them to spread butter!!!
Nothing to cut loaves or other food stuffs.
Half a tea towel and no kitchen towel which is not practical to buy for a 1-3 night stay.
Two toilet rolls, not enough for a 3 person stay.
Considering the extortionate price charged for the tiny so called Junior Suite, the owner should have provided more comfort and facilities and the beds are truly terrible and lack of sound proofing being able to hear my neighbours farting was pretty awkward.
However, the lady on Reception Mayumi was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
She was kind and considerate and a real asset to the company.
The male members of staff were not remotely helpful whoever they were.
Not a place I would recommend and certainly not at that price with beds that feel like you are sleeping on the floor with a sheet and pillow!
AAnonymous UserWe came to the apartment at 3pm (check in time) and found out that a cleaner was still in the mid-way of cleaning. We talked to reception who immediately sent one more cleaner to help and said the apartment would he ready in 10 mins. We got into the apartment like 20 mins later and felt like that the floor might not have been mopped. I stayed there for 5 nights and found that the sole of my slippers were blackened, which always left dirty slipper print in washroom after shower.
We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms 2 washrooms apartment. The furnishing however was very strange. While the master bedroom was equipped with 2 single beds placed together, the other small bedroom with only sliding door was with a double bed! My friend stayed in a 2 bedrooms 1 washroom apartment got a much better configuration which is a normal double bedroom and a twin room (as advised in website).
Besides, the living room was a bit dark.
On the whole, the stay was still fairly satisfactory. Reception staff was polite, helpful and efficient. Provision of basic cooking essentials including oil was good. Stuff in cleaning kit and toilet paper however was inadequate for a long stay. We needed to go to reception (opens only 0900-1700) to get additional supplies. Wish the cleaner would stock the place according to stay duration of the guests.
The apartment is situated in a very convenient location. 5 mins to Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 mins to Atocha train station, 2 mins to Carrefour Express, 7 mins to Lidl supermarket. There is also another big supermarket Dia nearby.
Above all, the building provides free luggage storage facilities in 3,4 & 5 floors. You need €1 to operate the locker but you can it back when returning the key. That’s real convenient.
EepsonI had a fantastic stay at Petit La Latina. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special mention to the customer service team, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. It’s excellent value for money given the quality and location. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThe room was impecable. Though I would like to have a little rack on the shower to place my shampoo and conditioner bottles. The bed was comfortable but I wish they had individual pillows instead of just one long noodle-like pillow. The window blinds were extremely hard to scroll up. Regarding the automatic check-in, I had to call the hostel number for them to give me the reservation number which I did not know. It took me a while to complete the check-in. They should also let the visitors know that they have to walk upstairs so light luggage is recommended here.
