"Lovely hotel in a peaceful local residence area. Had no problems with late check-in. I saw another comment and worried a lot before arriving. But it seems they improved based on reviews. Can be a little noisy with motorbikes at night but not too much for me. Nice service too!"
"Clean hotel with breakfast and not far from the acropolis’s and plaka and all major attractions. Lots of eateries and everything you need around and steps from the hotel. Public transport is a block away. Excellent overall experience"
"This hotel was part of our Christmas trip to Greece with my two daughters, and what I loved most was the rooftop bar and restaurant. Sitting there in the evening, enjoying a drink with the Acropolis in the distance, was truly delightful. Plus, upon arrival, we each received a welcome drink (non-alcoholic beverages were also an option), and the hotel offers great value for money."
"Very cozy and clean place. Execllent location. 5 mins to metro. Acropolis is in walking distance. I like the balcony and the kitchen most. In addition, there are free laundry and drying machine which gives us incredible experience in the journey."
"We stayed at Heritage Hill Hotel Athens for 3 nights and had a really pleasant experience. The receptionist was very helpful and recommended many nice places for us to visit and enjoy during our time in Athens.
A special mention also goes to Agni, who took care of us during breakfast. She was incredibly helpful, provided excellent service, and had such a warm and lovely attitude that made our mornings even better.
The hotel location is also very convenient, as it is very close to the Acropolis, just one train station away. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, which made our stay very comfortable. We also loved the shower — the water pressure was great, and the water temperature was perfect. The hot water was just right. On top of that, their olive oil shampoo was amazing as well.
If we come back to Athens again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again."
"The subway station is very close, and there's a small lounge area downstairs. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only minor issue was that the small round table was a bit wobbly, but it's fine if you don't put heavy things on it. It's very convenient for walking to nearby attractions."
"Good location a fair distance away from the very crowded city center and tourist attractions, between 2 metro stations with plenty of food options. Not a good location if traveling by car due to lack of parking. Checking in/out was a simple process and the rooms are spacious with many amenities. Only missing washing machines, laundry has to be done at nearby laundromats."
"Amazing location and an amazing view from the balcony. Quiet and close to the Acropolis, the room is big with many rooms and public facilities. Many great cafes and restaurants nearby too! Will definitely return to them on our next visit."
"It’s located at a prime location of Athens. We could go out for a half day and had rests at the room with coffee and some sweets easily.
All equipment look new. Gray to have a free laundry with a drier."
"A/C did not work. When asked about A/C on Saturday (arrival day) we were told be repaired on Monday. We checked out Thursday and still no A/C. Had to open windows to make room not extremely hot (room received direct sun all day) We even left door open when not in room and maid closed it. So we returned to an extremely hot room at end of day. I booked this hotel due to it having A/C. With balcony door open at night all the street noise came so we did not sleep well. hotel on a busy street. Hotel was very clean and breakfast buffet was excellent. I would not stay again or recommend hotel to anyone."

Amazing
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
GGuest UserGreat hotel for the price I paid. It was clean and had everything I needed. Good views of the Acropolis. It is located a short walk from Monastiraki Station. Room was spacious, clean and quiet despite being in a busy location. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. I would stay here again!
GGuest UserTraveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Even with a short layover, I could easily fit in a half-day tour of the Acropolis the next morning. The overall check-in process was smooth, and it was a perfect choice for an overnight stopover to explore Athens.
GGuest UserGreat location, clean room. Sadly there was a night club / live music until 2am lucky we had been awake very early to fly so just about managed to get to sleep. Maybe worth checking this before booking if you have a room at the back.
Terrace very good view
SsamanthalummmmI just spent 4 nights at Bedbox Hostel in Athens, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the beds are comfy and clean, and the common areas have a really friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great local tips. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it for backpackers and budget travelers.
YYejinshenqiuGreat service and spacious rooms. The place is generally clean and tidy, with a desk for working, which is a big plus. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and transportation is quite convenient.
AAlexandraI traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!
GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
