This small and beautiful hotel is opened by an old couple. It is very close to the white wall traditional hot spring villa where we first lived. The day we arrived at our check-in was already around 6:20 in the evening. After checking in, Grandma asked us what time to prepare dinner, because I booked one berth and two meals. The dinner part is still a bit looking forward to opening a blind box, there are grilled fish burned on the stove, various local side dishes, sashimi, miscellaneous grains, rice, and tempura. When we thought it was about to end, there were buckwheat noodles and fruits. It was really round after round. The room was very simple. After eating a good meal, Grandma has helped to lay the bed. When I went back to the room to change clothes, I went to the soup. The one who stayed on the same day should have a room for us. I enjoyed the hot spring pool. The next morning, I had a table for traditional breakfast. After eating a good meal, Grandma drove us to the nearby bus stop Tangdao Station. The overall stay is still very cost-effective, recommended

This was the hotel we were most looking forward to in Izu. The day we arrived, a young man from the entrance ran over to help us with our luggage from a distance. We were really excited about dinner; there was a huge variety of delicious food. We even paid extra for a lobster sashimi and sake, which was excellent! The room itself was quite simple, but the entire hotel environment was beautiful and clean. The check-out experience was also very unique and a pleasant surprise.

We had a wonderful stay at Tofuya Resort & Spa Izu last month. The resort is beautifully nestled in a peaceful, green setting with stunning views and fresh air. The onsen and spa facilities were excellent — the hot springs were relaxing and well-maintained, perfect after a day of exploring Izu.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. Staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The food was delicious, especially the fresh local ingredients.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene spa resort in Japan. We would love to return!

The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

It was a wonderful traditional Japanese stay. The rooms were newly renovated and the environment was very quiet. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were both very special. The private bath was a great experience. I recommend that people set aside their pursuit of ”newness and modernity” and immerse themselves in traditional Japanese culture for a day; it's a truly relaxing experience.

Our stay at Toi Fujiya Hotel felt like being treated to a 5-star experience. The service was absolutely exceptional - every staff member was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed.
The room was spacious and beautifully comfortable, with plush bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the private onsen in the room - such a luxurious treat and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
And the food… wow! So much variety and every dish was delicious - a true feast that made every meal memorable.
Overall, Toi Fujiya Hotel went above and beyond in every way. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

All aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off.
Dinner: Super delicious!

The environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂

Mic890This hotel is located in uphill. It is difficult to walk up to the hotel, better to plan your itinerary with free shuttle schedule. The free shuttle bus schedule stored in the hotel website but the file I couldn’t able to download. You can call the hotel for details. The hotel facilitates are good but every single spot are not walking distance. It is suggested to buy some snacks/food before going up to the hotel. If you play golf, they have a view of Mt Fuji.
The staff here are polite and willing to answer your questions.

Octavia ChungOverall, I really enjoyed my stay at Alim Stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, making it a great escape from the busy streets of Tokyo. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view from the balcony—it was absolutely beautiful.
The room was slightly dusty in a few areas, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Another thing I loved was the onsen. You can easily make it private by simply locking the door, which was such a nice bonus HAHAHA! It made the experience even more relaxing.
For the price, this place offers fantastic value. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and a beautiful view, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
