"Despite the language barrier, the front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The foods were very tasty, delicious with very reasonable price. The breakfast is included but the quality is second to none, to my knowledge based on my own Japan travel experience. Thumbs up for the staff & strongly recommended for anyone visiting Mojiko to stay & enjoy."
"It was located in a really nice place if you like calm quiet locations (Mojiko). It’s also by the water so it’s really pretty. The only downside is it’s kinda far from all the major stuff in Fukuoka but other than that it was really nice! Good for people looking for an escape from a major city! There’s multiple convenience stores near by as well!"
"The quality of the hotel was enough for one night. There was amenities, bathtub, and a TV. It is located right in front of Shimonoseki Station which is great."
"This was a good option if you want to visit the fish market and walk through the underground pedestrian tunnel. It is located near the metro and a bus station is located out front that will take you to the locations. A mall is located next to the hotel which has plenty of eating options. Room was small but very clean. Very helpful front desk. Good option."
"I wanted a little more water pressure in the shower.
The breakfast was delicious.
It was a little far from the station, but it was good because the price was reasonable.
The night view from the window and the Strait Messe were very beautiful.
It was used from a far place on a business trip, but it became a good memory."
"It was an amazing experience in staying this hotel. The most impressive one was staff. They were so kind. I felt like staying in my neighborhood. This hotel provided a breakfast which was simple but has good taste and was enough for starting fir the day. I absolutely stay here again when I will visit this area."
"Although it's a little far from Shimonoseki Station, there's a bus stop nearby and buses to Karato Market run frequently, making it a convenient location for both sightseeing and business. There's a supermarket nearby, including a DAISO, so I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast is rice balls, which can be eaten in your room."
"It's very close to the station, so it's convenient. There's a Max Value, department store, Yoshinoya, and other places nearby, so you can easily shop and eat.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. I'll use it again. It's also easy to get to the bus that goes to Ganryujima."
"The hotel facilities are very good staff have something to eat ok tasty very suitable for my taste and my friends as well as nearby attractions business near the walk is not very far and the style for two is also very convenient"

Great
TtravelswithjessWe are so surprised by the quality and service of this hotel, as we expected older facilities etc.
The location is super convenient - directly above JR. We drove so we parked downstairs which we can use multiple times a day.
Very accessible to shops and restaurants - can't think of a better location than this one.
In terms of service - staff speak good English and very friendly and approachable. We had a do not disturb sign on during cleaning hours but instead of like any other hotel to just skip your room until requested, they put a bag of supplies outside our room with towels, robes, toilet paper, amenities refreshers, drinking water and everything else they supply in our room, which was absolutely fantastic.
I am truly amazed and would stay at this hotel again if I visit Kokura and will recommend others too.
Highly recommend that you book superior rooms.
Thank you staff for this wonderful experience!!

FFeixiangdexiaolingyunThe hotel is about a 5-minute walk from JR Kokura Station, which is quite convenient. The entrance is small, so be careful not to miss it. The hotel is a bit old. I booked a superior room, but the size still wasn't as large as those at other places like the Daiwa Roynet Hotels. The room had a massage chair, which took up space for me, though others might like it.
GGuest UserWe booked one night in this hotel. The room size is as stated , very spacious with a beautiful view of the city, the room can even sleep for 3 persons. Toilet is clean although it’s an old style and design with a bathtub.
Breakfast have western and Japanese food , eggs have a few ways to cook and will deliver to your table after order. Service is good.
This hotel is next to the train station. A convenience store is just located in the middle of passage connecting to the hotel and station.
Free parking is available in the hotel, which is very convenience for guests with cars.
某某仁Friend 史I stayed there on the 11th floor for two days, from Thursday to Saturday. Noise wasn't a problem at all. Overall, the hotel was okay, except for a dirty coverlet with a blood stain and some dirt. I asked the front desk to help with it, and they fixed the issue. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner were included for free, but I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food. The dining area was clean and tidy. In the room, the bed was a good size—not small—and there was a standard desk and chair, which worked well for me. Considering the price and the location—just a 5-10 minute walk to the train station—the hotel was pretty decent.
SShin-Woei FannThis hotel locates near by the Kokura train station makes it one of the most convenient hotel I have ever lived.
Unfortunately I could only reserve a smoking room, but the smell was not too strong to clear out by some splash. I would suggest the manager to inform smoking customers not to smoke in the bathroom, in order to avoid the smoke on the shower curtain.
And the services are pretty good provided by kind stuff with multiple language skills. There is even a snack and drink corner 24 hours on first floor.
The only deficit of this hotel might be the sound proof of the top floor, 6th floor I lived. The sound could not penetrate through rooms, but there were multiple huge machines on the top of the room running through day and night and generated big noises. During the last night I lived, one of the noises was similar with the sound of unlocking the door, so I couldn' t sleep well because I felt like somebody was unlocking the door.
GGuest UserLocation is walkable from the JR station, surrounding malls and tourist spots, while not being in the centre of it all, making it a quiet and comfortable stay. There are many buses nearby so taking the bus instead of train was a good option to have. Walking distance can also be reduced sometimes via taking the bus. At the same time, the airport bus is at the JR station, so it was very convenient. The hotel while a little dated, is well maintained with floors segregated by non-smoking and smoking. Luggage deposit before and after is also available and the staff are very helpful with that. The bedside console comes with an alarm clock and even a music player where ambience music can be played - it is a very nice touch to have!!
TThomas_ZacThe Hotel is located very close to the Wakamatsu Railway station. The area around the hotel is a very quiet area with few shops around. I arrived the hotel at around 2200 and by then all the shops around was closed. I managed to find a family mart near the station and for dinner i went to Sukiya which I understand is open till 3 AM. The staff was very courteous and the checking in process was seamless. The rooms were small and very similar to other Japanese hotel rooms. The bedding was clean and neat and the linens were nicely tucked in. Since the air conditioning units remote was in Japanese language , had bit of a trouble in getting the AC started. However this was immediately resolved by the staff at the front desk and the AC cooling was very good. The toilet was small and was similar to other Japanese hotels. The supplies in the toilet was nice and adequate.
The Morning breakfast spread was nice with western and Japanese cuisine and the food quality and taste was very good. I will definitely recommend Route Inn to all business travelers travelling to Wakamatsu / Hibiki Nada Area
GGuest UserOverall an excellent hotel, uses an automated system for contacting.
to receive service There isn't any receptionist. But the only way to contact the hotel when there is a problem is the phone number. We encountered a problem that we did not receive an e-mail from the hotel regarding the entrance code and check-in method. And this time, roaming was not turned on. Makes you feel uncomfortable enough. But when you call The staff at the other end of the line can speak English and provide good explanations.
GGuest UserThough location is a little far but the free shuttle bus to and fro Orio station made is super convenient for an onsen retreat. There's a direct bus from Kitakyushu Airport to Orio station too, which makes it even better. Thankfully, the staff kindly took note of the shuttle reservation request made during booking, otherwise, it would have been very inconvenient to contact them and expensive to get to the resort by other means. They left a note to check the official website for pick-up point but there was no specific information - something that can be improved. The location was found to be BEHIND Maxvalue Shop (see first few photos). The resort is visited by mainly locals so it was helpful to see and ask them for confirmation.
Facilities might a bit old but generally clean so it was okay. The room is nice and comfortable, particularly the view. It was very nice to see the hotel using reusable wares with even a refillable jug to get water from a machine at the shared space. Both sides of the natural onsen is switched between male and female everyday. Supper tantan noodles is great! Breakfast is not bad with both fusion western style and traditional Japanese options. It was a very nice and relaxing time!
